Really Google? Really? How in the world's did this get thru product and development. Lagging, overheating, pile of crap. Battery last about 4 hrs using android apps. Watch reviews on YouTube and you'll see what I'm talking about. I'm ashamed to use android when this is what suppose to be Google's top of the line tablet competitor. And I would probably be fine with it if I haven't had the pleasure to use a iPad pro, and tab s4....No no I wouldn't cause it's that bad. Stay away far away from this tablet. It's an awful feeling to be hyped up over this tablet just to be let down. Google should be required to recall every single one of them and offer rebates for future purchases to keep customers happy. This should have never left the develop lab. Lol what a joke. Sorry for the rant buts it's just awful. Trust me if a software company can't release a product that's right on release I highly doubt updates will fix it anytime soon. I'm willing to bet these things will be highly discounted or took completely off shelves all together soon. Buy the tab s4 and save yourself the headache this thing will cause. Oh forgot to mention speakers were good. That's still not worth the price though.

I also have a MacBook pro and a Windows 10 desktop, and this is my preferred machine. Only a good deal if you get it on sale with the keyboard and pen. Would be great if there was a place to store the pen, but that is my only grip.

The only tablet google laughed so far, should be the last one too. Huge display and chrombook is user friendly.

I really want to like this product. Thin and nice screen but just feeling like something missing

Initially I loved this product as it had the most beautiful display I've ever seen! However, after only having it for a few days, I noticed many glitches. The screen would occasionally freeze or suddenly close apps, the cursor would disappear, the screen would go black. Maybe I had a defective one, but the first one was also defective. Hopefully they improve this product in the future.

A lot to say But the bottom line is: *Needs more productivity apps and more computing power to reach that level of replacing a computer..

Excellent investment if you plan to use the google pixel tablet for school, home or your business. You will feel very confident when it comes to organize your daily busy life, watching movies or just browsing the web.

This is a superb tablet! Will recommend it to everyone who does not want a laptop. The pen that comes with it uses AAAA battery!! Can't imagine why Google could not use just AAA battery? Other than that, I don't have any issues. The keyboard is sleek.

The tablet is great. It combines the best of Chrome OS and android into one. I love the touch screen capability and the ability to charge the tablet from either end. I also really like how it can tether internet off my Pixel phone. So far no issues with it.

This purchase was an outstanding deal. It included the Slate, keyboard cover, and pen. While the initial reviews of this tablet weren't great, updates from Google have made it a very good computer.

The Google Pixel slate is a cross between a tablet and laptop. It is a good tablet, but falls short of a good laptop. Keypad and pen is not part of the product, but the image given in the ad gives an impression of a laptop.

I love Google devices, but this is one of the worst devices they ever created. The keyboard died within 15 months of minimum use. Apps freeze or don't work 70% of the time. Battery life is the only thing I liked about it.

If you have a Pixel phone, then look no more towards any other tablet. The Slate is the BEST tablet out there in my opinion. Does everything plus more than your pixel phone. Make sure to get the keyboard and pen too!

Connected to my phone right away for mobile data. Seamlessly brings up anything from my Google Account such as Drive, Docs, Photos. If you want a powerful, versatile tablet and use Google services a lot, this is the tablet for you.

Google pixel is great but takes a lot of getting used to when using sheets.

Was hesitant to get one but after spending time with it I am loving it. Sorry more time working on it than my own desktop and so easy to just do everything on the couch then being chained to the desk.

This tablet was a great price, looked great, had great features and made by Google, so it had to be good. Well, it was an impulse buy and although it was at a good price, the fact research when I returned home I learned that Google discontinued the item, I returned it for a more expensive but solid iPad.

Alot of people call it an over priced chromebook but as a person who works from home i find it to be 100 times better then my surface pro

Chrome OS is a little clunky on a tablet still but as a chromebook it's great!
