Almost, but two big problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this largely to replace a Google Nest Hub in my kitchen, since it's running full Android and I can install things like recipe apps. I live in a household with five people, and we've all been talking to the Google Nest Hub on a daily basis. I thought this would be perfect, but the default behavior is that "Hey Google" only works for one person, because you have to train your voice to the account (I'm using a family account that I created specifically for this shared device). There is an option to enable "Hey Google" for anyone. But it only "works" when the tablet is _locked_ and in hub mode. So if it's unlocked, maybe because you're following a recipe, or just asked it to start a timer, suddenly only one person can talk to it again. And there's no option to disable the locked requirement. It's insane to me that I can't configure my tablet to consistently respond to "Hey Google" while it's docked on its hub. The second problem is more technical, and maybe it'll get fixed, but "Hey Google" for everyone isn't even working when it is locked and docked, like it's supposed to. I'm actually considering installing Amazon Alexa on my Google Pixel Tablet, because "Hey Google" is so absurdly broken. If you don't care about "Hey Google," this tablet is otherwise pretty nice, and I think you'll love it.

Great, but wish it had a better display

Scrolling on it just looks so much less fluid than my 4 year old Pixel 4XL. Perhaps the next gen will be better.
