The only disadvantage is the sound of the charging dock is not as full. It will do everything a homicide hub will do, plus you can pull it off the dock and use it to do anything an android tablet is capable of. I am looking forward to getting the case with the stand when it becomes available for more versability.

But definitely NOT a replacement for a premium table or a laptop. It's perfect for doing emails, web browsing, or watching videos from You Tube. I would recommend this if you have a google display hub and have ever wished that you could easily take it to your favorite chair and browse the web.

I use tablets mostly for streaming. With the Dock, I enjoy streaming SXM from my desk. The tablet is plenty fast and responsive. It works great with my Pixel 8.

"Hey Google" only recognizes one voice to provide full Google Home integrated functions like the Nest Home Hub (Google Hub Max) does. "Voice Match" function is required and is limited to one person. Other voices only activate basic functions such as time, date, etc. This wasn't working for our family like the Home Hub Max did. I bought it to replace a Gen 1 Home Hub Max as it's display is going bad and it's waayyy out of warranty. No issues with the Pixel Tablet, but Google is deficient on integrating the full suite of the properties of their Google Home concept with this like they say it does. Much searching within Google Support reveals that there is no fix for this. Returned it.

Screen was near mint condition which is great. All this for $370 with dock. It came with the OG box with BB tape and runs great so far

It works well with Android stuff and the battery lasts a good amount of time. I mostly use it on its stand, kind of like how you use a Nest Hub Max. It's handy for watching stuff and looks nice.
