Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Pixel Tablet's sound quality, battery life, ease of use, and the convenient charging dock. Many appreciate the tablet's screen size and design, although some find the price point high for the features offered. A common criticism centers around the 60Hz refresh rate, and some users express concerns about storage limitations and the responsiveness of the Google Assistant. Overall, the positive feedback on key features like audio and battery life outweighs the negative comments regarding price and refresh rate.

This feels like a gen 1 product. It doesn't property replace the feature set of a basic Google Hub. Certain commands require the tablet to be unlocked even after altering the settings. It also seemed delayed in responses compared to my older hubs. As a tablet it lacks the refresh rate of most modern phones and other tablets in the same price range. Texts from my phone came delayed and there wasn't an option to make calls using my number. It really felt like I downloaded a Google theme to a Kindle Fire. I can't really see paying more than $299 and I probably wouldn't now. It wasn't for me. Not bad but not for me. After about two weeks, I did return this item.

It’s awesome to have a clean google tablet. I use it when playing games to look up guides and videos for getting help in games. And to watch YouTube and podcasts. Having the docking speaker is super nice I have it on there almost 100% of the time. The tablet will smart charge the tablet to prolong battery heath.

Love the form factor, included speaker stand is probably the best thing about Pixel tablet. No longer struggling to find the charger. The stand keep it charged and also work as a digital photo frame Speaker quality is just okay though. Overall an amazing tablet. Highly recommend

Love my Tablet! Wish I'd gotten a case but there are choices at Best Buy. Easy to operate and the sound and picture are phenomenal. It's delicate looking but a tough product. Have not experienced any lag in streaming anything~!

I thought it would have more potential. I bought it to replace my Hub Maxx that was in the kitchen. After a while I put my hub maxx back in the kitchen and puit this in my living room. I have to say Ok Google Stop for it to stop. The hub maxx I just say stop for stoping alarms on the timer.

Had to return the first tablet due to not working. The store took it and ordered a replacement which came to our home a few days later. It worked and it works. It's great.

Used mainly for the shared family calendar, online recipes for meal prepping, and music. We are used to the Apple UI, so it took some time to get used to it. Split screen option is wonderful.

Bought this to serve as both of tablet and home device, use it mainly for tablet functions . Does Excel fantastic, great device for basic tablet needs, could use more compatibility with some of the apps on the app store. I would recommend as long as you don't need anything super powerful.

Makes an excellent smart home hub, and being a detachable Android/Pixel tablet is a big plus. The hub experience is on par or better than the old Google Home Hub we had, and being able to take the tablet around the house for video calls, web browsing, and video streaming is a nice complement.

This device is fantastic as a glorified google home while allowing you use it just like a tablet. You can certainly find a better tablet but, the dual functionality of this device is great.

Like the tablet overall. But some websites functions do not work on android sites and you need to go on your computer to complete certain tasks. Not a tablet specific issue but you would need something like a surface to fully break away from the laptop/pc

Unboxing the Google Pixel Tablet, you will find the tablet, the speaker dock, a charging brick, and some documentation. The tablet itself measures 10.125” x 6.6875”. It features a gorilla glass front and soft-touch matte finish back. Around the sides you'll find 4 speakers, USB-C, the volume rocker and finger-print enabled power button. The speaker dock stands 4” tall and 6.5” wide. It is wrapped in cloth around the sides and has a barrel connector for power on the back. The charging brick features a 5ft, permanently attached cord. Setup is super easy. Power on the tablet, follow the prompts to set up your profile, update your system and apps (which can take some time), and go. The speaker just needs to be plugged in. Then the tablet attaches to the speaker with powerful magnets. Quite securely, I might add. The tablet has an attractive 10.95” IPS LED display. With an advertised resolution of 2560 x 1600, the display is bright, vibrant, and crisp with excellent viewing angles. On-board audio is clear and offers plenty of volume but is lacking bass, which is admittedly not uncommon for tablet audio. Performance has been snappy with consistently smooth animations and quickly loading apps. Cold boot times take about 10 seconds. The finger-print power button feels small to me, but has worked consistently. Battery life has been more than sufficient. Charging can be accomplished by placing the tablet on the dock or by connecting a USB-C charger to the tablet itself. Android 13 comes pre-installed and features a lot of really nice optimizations for the larger screen. Functions like easy access to split screen and the ability to drag pictures from Google Photos to a draft Gmail are super nice and work really well. Also, multiple user accounts can be easily added and switched between, if you are using the tablet in a shared environment. The speaker dock is a nice inclusion. It sets the tablet up for use as a home hub, replacing older devoted hubs with a newer, multi-purpose device. The hub features no battery and no wireless connectivity (Bluetooth) and only works with the tablet docked. Audio from the speaker dock offers more volume over the tablet alone, but the quality is only just OK. On the downsides, there is no headphone jack and no expandable storage. The use of a barrel connector for the speaker dock seems really dated. And the dock only provides 15w of charging to the tablet. Additionally, there are still a lot of big name apps that are still not optimized for Android tablets; Instagram, Twitter and Facebook are just a few. The apps work, but they are basically just large phone apps that have not been optimized for the larger screen. Those few negatives aside, the tablet works really well. And, like the Pixel phone line, the fact that the tablet will get updates directly from Google faster than other Android tablets, only increases its overall attractiveness.

This is right up there with the Samsung Tablets. Would rank it just below but almost as hood given it's price point. Purchased this for almost $400 with discounts and if on sale inwould highly recommend this item. Great for Android users. Very fluid and responsive.

Replaced a damaged Samsung Galaxy Tab with this tablet and I couldn't be happier. Same stock android experience as my Pixel Phone, synced text messages and amazing google home control when docked. Very happy with this tablet that is more than a tablet.
