This is an excellent smartwatch for android users. Many have complained about it's small size, but this is a plus for this watch. Because of it's small size, it is very comfortable to wear for long period of time, also very comfortable for sleep tracking. Tracking seems very accurate. Performance is excellent, lag free. It can also be used as remote shutter for pixel phones.

my wife has a pixel phone and got this as a gift for her. she loves it. connects perfectly to her phone. it tries to be an apple watch, but doesn't quite match up to it in terms of connectivity in my opinion. the lack of watch bands and accessories for this watch are a drawback. the use of the specific attachment method limits watchbands to having an adapter or finding a supplier that made a band specifically for this watch.

The Pixel Watch 2 is a great improvement, I would use it daily over a Gear 5 or Apple Watch in a heartbeat. It falls very short when compared to my Garmin Venu 2+ or Venu 3 After using this watch for the last week along side my Garmin getting all the same notifications on both devices I have had to charge the Pixel watch 3 times. The Garmin Venu 2+ is still sitting at about 65% battery. The device would of maybe lasted a bit longer on Charge #2 but I took a 30 minute Teams call and had the audio playing over it and it sucked away over 20% of the battery. Really, Really bad and disappointing. The Garmin can have its full gps tracking running for a full 3/4 hour ski session before it uses 20% of the battery. The band and display feel and look very nice, the crown dial is nice to use. I very much like the band connection system. They just need to optimize the software to get more battery life. My second issue is minor but the screen is fairly small, it means not much text fits on the device. Due to the large Bezels, rounded display and over small footprint. My Wifes smaller Venu 2s displays much more content on the screen with almost the same physical size and doing it with 3-4x the battery life. If you REALLY need/want to stick with the Fitbit App then this a decent device, however the Versa or Sense may be a better option due to the price.

Genuinely the Apple watch equivalent for Android. I get a full day with heavy use and only charge while I'm in the shower. The Fitbit side is okay, but not worth the subscription. I enjoy the sleep, it feels incredibly accurate.

Very quick and feature full! issues are that there seem to be few settings to change to maximize battery life at the moment and the alert for low battery is very miss able. Aside from battery life going form fitbit sense 2 to this watch has been a present more useful experience. I was able to download my full 800+ song Spotify playlist to it! can charge from my phone with the included cord. I bought a blue band from google.

Replaced Google Pixel watch for this Pixel 2. Major improvement is charging and cable that came with watch. Watch does not get hot while charging anymore. The watch has a few upgrades but battery life is still lacking. Overall, I use for activity and sleep tracking and it is excellant at those functions. I would not upgrade from Pixel watch, but if this is your first buy, its worth a try.

Good day, Gary! Thanks for sharing a review, and we appreciate you for trying both the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2. We’re glad that you find it improved, but it’s unfortunate to hear that your experience with the battery life has not exceeded your expectations. Rest assured, this will reach our product team for future improvements. Meanwhile, you can turn off settings that can drain the battery, or turn on the Battery Saver when the battery gets low. While Battery Saver is on, the "Always-on screen" and "Tilt-to-wake" feature will be set to Off. Love the sleak-ness of this watch face, the rose gold is so classic too. Inlove how customizable the watch features are too taylor to my needs. The batery life is less then impressive if you leave every alert on, however, after adjusting some settings, i can get 3 days of battery life,so thats a win!

This is the smartwatch I've been waiting years for. I held off on buying the first generation in order for them to work the kinks out...and I'm glad I did. I'm very happy with battery life (it easily lasts me all day, and then before bed I just top it off to make sure I can get through the whole night with plenty of battery to spare in the morning). It's snappy and just works really seamlessly for workouts, listening to podcasts, checking notifications, and responding to incoming messages.

Got his watch for free with Pixel 8 Pro. I wasn't expecting this watch to be good. However I'm gradly surprised by how good it is, especially the ease of use of health tracking features provided by Fitbit. Notifications UI is already the best on Wear OS compared to other watches. Everything else except for health features and notifications is average and gets job done.

There aren't a TON of new things with the 2 over the 1, but the new stuff is better. I do wish they would incorporate more Fitbit programming as I miss having ANY exercise I do get picked up and tracked automatically instead of having to "accept" that it's tracking my walk/run. That being said, it's faster transitioning and better heart rate monitor than previous model and of course the battery is much better. All the things I love. Price is a little high, but still worth it for me.
