It's a great smartwatch, nice visibility, clear screen, bezels aren't too noticable and has all the tracker's and features I need. If you are planning on getting one now anytime from 8/11/2023 onward I'd say wait for the pixel 2. If the rumors are anything to go by it should be a fairly substantial upgrade but the pixel watch is still a great smartwatch!

What battery life?

I am also a diehard Pixel fan. Waited for years for Google to pair their phone with this watch and I am not really impressed. I purchased the Fitbit Sense about a year prior to this purchase and the Pixel watch, functionality, is there same if not better. However, the Sense battery is far superior to the Pixel watch. I perpetually have the pixel watch in battery saver mode with heart monitor off and still cannot get 24 hours out of it. Overall, to say I'm disappointed with Google, and the Pixel watch, would be an understatement.

I do wish they had more feminine options, however, the sporty look works as well. The screen is clear and easily read. I'm really happy with my purchase and have even recommended it to my 67 year old mother. She also ended up purchasing it and loves it. Her only complaint is waiting so long to buy it.

Smooth UI experience on a small smartwatch

The battery isn't too bad and mine surprisingly lasts over a day, but I don't sleep with my watch and I don't use always on display (by choice haha). The watch is small, so if you're okay with the size, everything else is great. OS is smooth, compared to my Galaxy Watch 4 which i'm coming from which isn't smooth.

Software better than apple watch. Google bought fitbit so that is the best software for health and now its in google watch. Only problem is, id rather have an old beat up rolex. Something about something mechanical on the wrist than something digital, is more pleasing to the heart.
