This watch has been great for me. Does what I need especially when I'm at the gym. The battery last a pretty long time especially if remove all the unnecessary notifications. I would recommend watch to anyone with an Android or even Google pixel phone which I have. My only concern is the watch face could be bigger , but maybe when they release a pixel 2 they can make 2 variants.

Huge missing feature, I assumed it was there because it is super basic. Had i known it wasnt there, i wouldnt have bought it. The watch will not sync your DoNotDistub or bedtime modes with you phone. You have to manually turn both on or off if you dont want to get woken up in the middle of the night by a random email. There is no way to schedule these modes on the watch. Google is too busy implenting niche features to bother to implement this super basic feature that people have been asking about for literally months. Battery life isnt great, but serviceable. I can make it 24 hours and almost charge that back up in the time it takes me to get ready for work. Almost. At least ine day a week i have to leave ot on the charger for another 30+ minites.

The watch is like any other smartwatch out there. Accurate fitness tracking and health metrics. Sleeping with it is comfortable. The downside is the battery life lasts about a day when Always-On Display is active. I turned it off and had no issues with using it, sleeping and charging the watch in the morning while I worked

I think Google is smart to make a smaller device first, it charges quite fast. I usually top up in the morning when I’m getting ready and it will last me plenty through the day and I actively use the Watch. It is buttery smooth and works like a charm.

I traded up to the Pixel Watch from a Fitbit Versa 2. I expected a great user experience and that's what I'm getting — except for needing to charge it every day. I've decreased the power usage in all the recommended ways, but still, if I don't charge it once a day it won't make it through the next. That shouldn't be.

Hi Rathfulman, thanks for choosing Pixel Watch, and for sharing your feedback with us. It’s unfortunate to hear that your experience with the battery life is below your expectations. The new Google Pixel Watch is a fully featured smartwatch with LTE capabilities, a bright display and robust haptics. These features require additional power over what is needed for other devices, but also provides helpfulness and health insights even when you don’t have your phone on you (LTE only). Maximum battery life is approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will decrease battery life. Battery life depends on features enabled, usage, environment and many other factors. You can turn on Battery Saver when your Google Pixel Watch battery gets low. Please note while Battery Saver is on, the ""Always-on screen"" and ""Tilt-to-wake"" feature will be set to Off. I bough this watch for my wife and I hace to say that this watch is amazing. The design and functionalities are great. Only one downside I would like to mention, the small battery life. This watch needs to be charged every day with a normal use. Other than that is a great product with a fair price.

Hi Raul, thanks for choosing Pixel Watch as a gift for your wife. We're glad to hear that you find it amazing. We're sorry to hear that you find the 24 hour battery life as a downside to its features.

The battery life of your Pixel Watch will depend on how you use your device, and maximum battery life is always approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will definitely decrease the battery life. A full battery for Google Pixel Watch goes all day with a charge that lasts up to 24 hours to support sleep tracking and other features. Google Pixel Watch comes equipped with settings to care for and help extend battery life. The 24 hour battery life is based on the following usage:
      - 240 notifications.
      - 280 time checks.
      - A 5 min LTE phone call.
      - 45 min LTE and GPS workout with downloaded YouTube music playback.
      - 50 minutes of navigation (Google Maps) while connected to a phone via Bluetooth®️
      - The watch is configured with the default settings, including the Always-on display set to off.

Overall very happy with purchase and would recommend - are are a few of my thoughts. Did not like the look of the band at first, but after the way it fits/feels and latches that overcame the looks for me. Very responsive, good battery life. For me I do wish it was a larger watch more like 44/45mm vs. 41mm

    Worst smart watch ever

I had this watch for all of a week and returned it. Battery life was so horrible I would go to the gym for my workout and leave the 50% less battery life. The battery life would not even last an entire day before the watch would go into limp mode. It's a shame because it's a beautiful watch. You can take the watch off charge with 100%. Leave the house it's already dropped 10%. By the time I left the gym I'll be down to 30% battery. But with the battery life you have to turn everything off including the display so it becomes an expensive bracelet. Please try again Google maybe one day you'll get it right. Or like Fitbit once Google touches it, it becomes junk.

Especially for the price, this watch performs as well or better than the other smart watches I've used (Galaxy watches 1,3, and 4). The stock band is by far the most comfortable, and the glass is surprisingly strong. I am clumsy and I am not gentle when flailing my arms about. This thing has taken countless glancing blows against things every day, and in it's life it has seen several hard hits that I was sure would have shattered it. This is actually my second time buying a pixel watch, and I only bought a second one because I lost my charger, and it was on sale, so now I have a completely unscratched "dress version", and I keep wearing the old one every day, where it can continue to actual tiny scratches for character. There are probably better watches, but they probably cost way too much compared to what you get with this guy.

This watch has so many amazing capabilities that I am still exploring! It's a ingenious watch that's also very good looking for a smart watch. I find that the battery is around 45% after 24 hours so I generally charge it at the end of each day. One feature I am hoping that will be added to the watch is an blood oxygen sensor. Outside of that I am very happy with the watch after using it for almost one month.

I love the look, feel, and design of the Pixel Watch. Coming from a FitBit Sense to this is a huge change, where the OS is super responsive, springy, and packed full of features. However I'm a very active individual. I do not recommend this product if you do long endurance exercises or need longer periods of data collection for activities. Even with battery saver features on and the Google assistant turned off, the watch barely makes it through a day for me. I can't imagine with continued use that the battery will hold a charge for a full day of activity for me so if you need that kind of tracking but love the Fitbit software I'd avoid this iteration of the Pixel Watch.

Hi DJkiro, it's great to hear that you love the look, feel and design of your Google Pixel Watch. We are sorry to hear that the battery life didn't meet your expectations.

Pixel Watch battery life will depend on how you use the Google Pixel Watch. The maximum battery life is approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will decrease battery life. Battery life depends on features enabled, usage, environment and many other factors. Actual battery life may be lower. Also, charging speed will depend upon many factors including usage during charging, battery age, and ambient temperature. Ideal charging speeds are listed below:
      About 30 minutes to 50%
      About 55 minutes to 80%
      About 80 minutes to 100%

If your charging speed is lower than these estimates please ensure you are charging in a cool place, removed from direct sunlight. Ensure that the watch is sitting or connected to the charger completely. Please also ensure you are using a USB-C USB-Power Delivery compliant power adapter.

Great Watch Horrible For Answering Calls

Google's first attempt at an in-house smartwatch has been mostly enjoyable. I like using fitbit compared to Google Fit, I enjoy the build quality of the watch as well as the lightweight, and the design overall. What I don't like is the speaker used when making and receiving calls. I returned my LTE version of this watch for this one due to the speaker sounding blown, distorted and like static. After obtaining this watch the issue is still present. It only really stands out on incoming calls. During outgoing calls the issue doesn't seem to exist. I'm hoping Google fixes and addresses this issue with a software update. Other than that I have been very satisfied with everything else including the battery life. I really like the design of the bands. Speaking of the bands if there is anything else I would complain about it's the lack of bands available for purchase. The link bands won't be available until Spring and the other bands aren't really available at retailers outside of Google and Fitbit. Hopefully this will change soon.

Huge upgrade from my first edition Galaxy Watch. That thing was bulky as heck, I hardly ever notice this on my wrist. Love the OS, it's fast, and I love the design. Wish the battery lasted as long as the Galaxy Watch, I have to charge it every night so it kind of negates the sleep apps. I guess you could charge it for an hour before bed but I never think to do that.

Hey there, Gornak! We’re glad you love the performance and design of the Pixel Watch. We appreciate your concern about the battery life, and we’ll definitely share this with the right team to work on improving our products and services. In the meantime, it may be helpful to enable Battery Saver when your Google Pixel Watch battery gets low. Please note while Battery Saver is on, the ""Always-on screen"" and ""Tilt-to-wake"" feature will be set to Off. For sleep tracking, you will need a minimum 30% charge (about 30 minutes to 50%). Try charging during your morning routine or during your wind-down time at night so the battery lasts while you’re sleeping.
