If you've operated a WearOS device in your past, this will feel no different. After experiencing the features it boasts when paired with a Pixel 6 Pro phone, I can say it has a lot to offer, being two days into ownership. Straight off, I felt how light and low-profile it is. I love the design and the screen, but dislike how easily it could glance off an object and be damaged. If you know first-iteration on-launch-day Google products like many, you'll know that theres lots and lots of minute bugs with the companion Watch App on the phone. Easily customizable software options, but sometimes the options don't work, and some coaxing will get it right. One true problem I've found is app updates on the watch -- you have to go into the Play Store on the watch itself to update the apps on it, rather than doing it through the phone like the companion app implies you can. Thats a tiny nugget, but all-in-all its another Launch Day Special from Google: lots of fun and definitely the Google product I've come to expect, but doesn't come without some kinks to work out, which there are only a few minor things. I'm not a big smartwatch guy, but this has turned me around.

Really enjoy the experience of having a whole Google ecosystem. Love the look of it. However there are some "odd" things at first that I needed to get used to. For instance the alarm app on the phone doesn't connect to the watch. At first I thought this was bad, but it's actually been beneficial to not have them connected.

Great watch battery last week if you set your watch settings up for the battery to last a day n some hours sleek design and really comfortable to wear. Google Pixel phone and watch goes well together, Google pay is easy to use on this watch... Please get yourself a watch if you haven't already

Google Assistant is particularly helpful for voice commands and quick actions. Effective fitness tracking: The built-in fitness tracker accurately tracks heart rate, steps, and various workout activities. It also provides helpful insights and motivates you to stay active. Fast charging: The watch charges quickly and conveniently, typically reaching full charge in under an hour. Cons: Limited app selection: Compared to other smartwatches, the Pixel Watch currently has a smaller selection of available apps. This can be limiting for users who rely on specific apps for their daily routines. Average battery life: While the battery life isn't terrible, it doesn't quite match some of the leading smartwatches on the market. I typically get around a day of use on a single charge, but it can vary depending on usage. But if you prioritize design, Google integration, and solid fitness tracking, the Pixel Watch is definitely worth considering.

Ive had smart watches about as long as they have been around. Ive had the moto360, several models of samsung watches, apple watches, the tic watch, and zenwatch. The pixel watch has been my favorite smart watch Ive used to date. On launch the battery life could be sketch but even over the course of the last two weeks that has improved. I tend to get about a day and a half out of it without using the bedtime mode. Aesthetically its eye catching and functionality has been exactly what I wanted. Google Wear OS continues to prove open-source is the way to go for watches. More than happy being an early adopter on this one.

A lot of people have reservations over a few things about this watch. 1) Bezels and display size... First off, resolution is much more important than size. They could make the display bigger, but if it were the same amount of pixels, you still wouldn't be able to display any more information. The resolution of this display is great, and the bezels are much nicer looking in person than they look if try to get a feeling for it online. Overall, I think the display is great, responsive, and a nice size that suits most people. I do wish they would have had multiple sizes, but I'm not surprised being a first gen watch. 2) Battery life. If you are someone that will charge this watch while you sleep, then it's not an issue at all. I found that I am right at the cusp of 24 hours. I do wish that it had just 1 or 2 hours more of life to make it through the day and sleep. On the flip side, this watch charges really fast. It's easy for me to just put it on the charger while I do my nightly routine and then I have more than plenty to get through a sleep cycle. I like everything else about the watch as well. Nice design. Comfortable bands, and a solidly built look. If you're a FitBit user already, and wish they had a full smartwatch option, this definitely fits the bill. The one thing I was hoping for was that I could keep my old Fitbit to wear to bed while the Pixel charged overnight, but unfortunately Fitbit will only allow one watch on your account at a time.

Excellent ergonomics, love the crown, and general design. Fitbit integration is fantastic. It's display is beautiful if a little small. Battery life will last a day, but don't expect more without altering settings like Raise to Wake and the Always on Display features.

In general, I like this watch. I upgraded from a Fossil Gen 5 Carlyle watch, and it easily outperforms it. The screen resolution is crisp, and the screen animations are both snappy and smooth. I also get about 1 1/2 to 2 days of battery life using the settings out of the box. The smaller size compared to my previous watch has also grown on me, and its comfort on my wrist is a definite plus. My gripes: 1) In order to keep up the battery life, I have to turn off the "always on" screen option. 2) I'm not certain about how I feel about eventually paying for fitness tracking features via Fitbit. I believe you can still use Google Fit with this, but, honestly, I haven't tried to yet because I still in the 6-month free Fitbit trial. 3) Though the "bezel-less" design is very nice, I'm deathly afraid of smacking this against the edge of something really hard and scratching, chipping, and/or breaking this. I've played hell trying to find after market screen protectors and bezels to protect the screen. 4) I think this is overpriced at $350. I felt marginally better about buying this when it was on sale over the holidays for about $300. I would suggest to anyone else interested in this watch to wait for sales also. Otherwise, this fits my needs which are basically timekeeping, fitness tracking, Google Nest compatibility and accessing other occasional Google features that I would find on my phone.

People give most of the negative reviews regarding a pixel Watch sighting poor battery usage. If you take the time to set up your watch by turning off features not needed/wanted such as dim the screen brightness (which on the lowest level can still be seen just fine in the sun, especially with adaptive screen brightness turned on), and turn off alerts for apps that are not inportant, etc., you'll get better battery life than the Apple Watch 7 like I am experiencing. When compared to Samsung Galaxy watch, you could argue that Samsung wins, but again, the issue is that if you compare the Galaxy Watch that is comparable in size, the battery life is much closer than stated. The reviewers are comparing the Galaxy Watch of a larger size which of course contains a bigger battery. The only negative I would ding google for other than the price being slightly higher than I would like to see is that to get the in-depth analysis of activity and sleep tracking, you have to pay for a Fitbit subscription. It is not required and still gives descent reports, but Samsung is free (you do get more in Fitbit Premium in comparison though). Lastly, I've read reviews knocking Pixel Watch for not auto-tracking workouts. This is false as well. Pixel Watch will record activities that you do not initiate through the Fitbit app. Best thing about Pixel Watch is that it is probably the most elegant design I've owned in a fitness watch.

As a Pixel fan, I think the Pixel watch is a decent start as a first gen device. I've previously used Fitbit devices, and i'm enjoying the extra "smart" capabilities that the Pixel Watch offers over something like the Versa, especially in terms of functionality and 3rd party applications while maintaining all the Fitbit data i've been accustomed to. The OS runs incredibly smooth, and I absolutely love the look of the watch overall and I think it's one of the prettiest looking smartwatches on the market. The big draw back is the battery life, which many professional reviewers touch on. I think most can expect 18-24 hours of battery life depending on how much you're using the watch, especially with any GPS enabled workouts or a large amount of notifications and activity. Probably not worth it for anyone used to Apple Watches or Galaxy Watches, but good for Google fans that have been waiting for a watch. Might be better to wait for the 2nd gen though.

One of the best smartwatches I've ever owned. The Fitbit integration with the smarts of Wear Os 3 really makes it a fun functional smart accessory. As for the design, while most smartwatches are copying apple watches design. The Pixel Watch stands out with its infinity dome, it pulls of the edgeless look. It comes with a small and large sports strap, that is comfortable for most of the day. But there is a caveat to the watch strap. If you don't like rubber/silicone like watch straps. It might irritating. But the watch straps can be replaced with Google certified watch straps.

I was highly disappointed with the Pixel Watch. I truely wanted to love it, but just can't recommend it at this time. Let me touch on the positives and things I enjoyed first. The watch looks great. I do not think it's too small even though I'm used to a larger watch. I was not too concerned about the small bezel given how well the software utilizes the space available. It is also comfortable and pretty easy to use. Even though it doesn't feel like it will hold up to abuse, it still felt like a premium product. I hope they make bigger options in the future, but it still looks and feels great. Now my negative experiences: After setting up the Pixel Watch, there were a total of three instances where I loaded the Watch app on my phone and upon opening the app, I was prompted to agree to the terms of use for the watch (a second time). The first two times this happened, I thought it was strange that I was being asked to agree to the terms again, so each time I pressed the back button on my phone and each time, that action factory-resetted the watch. I'm assuming when you don't agree to the terms, you can't use the watch. That makes sense. But it made no sense to be prompted with the terms a second time after using the watch for hours. I never figured out why it had this issue, but on the third occasion this happened, i just agreed to the terms the second time and the app stayed locked up for about 5 minutes. A reboot of the phone seemed to fix the issue and I didn't have the problem after that. For reference, I use a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. Lastly, the battery life...yes, it was terrible in my experience. I did a lot of reading on the topic of the battery life and convinced myself that like many have reported, giving the watch a week or so to learn my patterns of use would train the battery. I did notice minor improvements, but overall, my life with this watch felt like the equivalent of driving home or to work on a nearly empty gas tank wondering if I was going to make it home. If was running low on fuel in my car, I'd start shutting things off (A/C or heater) just to save fuel in hopes of making it home. This watch is no different. You will likely have to compromise somewhere: Disable always on, tilt to wake, Google assistant, etc. These are the types of tips many give and while they are somewhat helpful, I found that I still just checked my battery life gauge throughout the day and barely got to use or enjoy the watch. I was incredibly disappointed. For the past few years before they officially announced this watch, I would occassionally check to see if there was news on the Pixel Watch. So I was the guy who was super excited when I finally learned they were releasing a Pixel Watch. My hope is that they vastly improve the battery life of the Pixel Watch 2 and allow us to use all the available features without compromise. When I considered the prospect of charging the watch sometimes 2 times a day on a regular basis, I quickly came to the conclusion that this was unacceptable and could not keep the watch in its current state. I ended up returning it and opting for the Samsung Gear 5 Pro. Without "training the watch" on my battery usage, I'm easily getting over 2 days of charge with regular use before I need a charge. I was really rooting for Pixel Watch to replace my last Samsung Watch, but after using the Pixel Watch, I quickly learned that the Samsung Watch is still a better option for me. I'm rooting for the success of future version of this watch, but I cannot recommend it.

Good design minimalist, bezels are ok could be thinner a little bit, battery life is a little below average for a smart watch, there is a weird screen burn in but it goes away after a few minutes it only happens when it stays on one screen for a while like the always on display clock, overall i would wait for the Pixel watch 2 since its gonna have the new snapdrsgon W5 chipset which should definitely improve battery life, and hopefully some refinements

The watch is very nice, its sleek has nice watch faces. The down side is the battery isnt as good compare to other smartwatches.

Bought the Pixel Watch when it finally went on sale, been a Fitbit user for years and since Google now owns Fitbit and I use a Pixel phone I figured now was the time to finally try a Google OS watch; returned a few days later and just gonna stick with my Fitbit Versa 2 for now (even considered just exchanging for the newer Versa 4 for the same price but with no significant upgrades over the Versa 2 just wasn't worth it to me). I like the design, software and smooth gel of the Pixel Watch but the killer for me was the battery life- my 5 yr old Versa 2 will last 5 days or more if I need it to, the Pixel Watch barely made it through the night while I was sleeping (also no vibration on alarms which makes no sense to me) so no way it'll last 24 hrs much less days. Also definitely gonna need a protective band or case if you do any physical activity because while it's pretty it also looks and feels very delicate; not what a smart watch should be to me. I'd love to try the Pixel Watch again in the future, but the battery needs some serious improvement.
