This watch being it's the first one from Google is rather good. Google gets beat up pretty hard on lots of their devices, however being this is their first it's pretty good. The battery life I'm getting at least 24 hours. When you first set it up of course the battery life is not going to be as good, and that's always the worst time to give a battery review, which a lot of people tend to do. Let things settle for a week or two and get everything set up and then see what the battery life is. Overall the syncing with the Google pixel 7 Pro phone has been very good. This watch has all of the data that you need to get through the day. The notifications are excellent. Even apps that are not installed on the watch can still give you notifications such as storm alerts. One interesting thing about the apps is that there is no native Gmail app on this watch which is rather surprising being it's a Google product. It's more odd because even Outlooks app is on here where you can go into your inbox for your email, where you can't with Gmail. Hopefully a future update will include Gmail. You are able to get your Gmail notifications though, which is good. There are many watch faces to choose from which is very nice. I only think this experience is only going to get better with each update. For a first device like this for Google this is rather good. I've been using it for over a week now which is still on the early side but so far it's been a solid experience. The Fitbit integration is great as well if you are coming from a Fitbit device you'll be very familiar with all of the metrics. No problem syncing with Fitbit. There is one other thing about the SPO2 sensor, at the time of writing this it is not active yet but it is available on the watch. I would imagine this is coming soon. It's another nice metric to have especially if you're used to it coming from a Fitbit product. The other gripe that we hear is the size of this watch being only 41 mm. Not sure why Google did not offer another size as well. I would imagine they're taking a lot of feedback on this and will offer two sizes next time. For me it still is fine with the 41 mm they do a good job with not showing the bezel with certain watch faces. Again overall very good experience so far and looking forward to the updates to come. For first effort they did a rather good job.

First off, its an excellent product. My only issue with it is the size of the display… being accustomed to the Galaxy Watch 4, this watch is small in comparison thus I had to return it. But lets me at least discuss what I like about it…. The way Google displayed the notifications on the Pixel Watch is different from WearOS on Galaxy Watches. Then there’s the way settings was implemented… I thought that was better compared to Galaxy Watch. I enjoyed the way app launcher looked on the Pixel Watch. Hopefully, next release Google gives two versions of the Pixel Watch… a small version and a much bigger one.

I really enjoy this watch. Almost zero complaints. One thing about this watch is the battery life it's fine for me. I'm glad I waited out on buying this watch because maybe the updates fixed the battery problem because my battery lasts a full day and some more. I'm loving the smoothness of the UI of wear os 3. I can't really think of any problem that I'm having with this watch. I don't mind the small screen I'm pretty sure the next gen gonna have a bigger screen

The fact this watch only lasted 19 months and I spent $350+ on it is unexceptable. Even worse, this doesn't seem like an isolated experience. When reading the google reviews, the "Black Screen" issue seems to be a trend. It's extremely disappointing that Google doesn't seem to offer any remedy or buy back on what is clearly a defective device. This experience will certainly make me think twice before I ever purchase or recommend another Google product. I've had a total of 4 different Google Pixel phones, earbuds and this watch... this is sad and extremely disappointing.

Watch is sleek and sits well on the wrist. If you have large wrists Google needs to make larger watch bands. I wear the large and am on the last notch and the band is still a little too tight on the wrist.

I love the watch and Fitbit integration but it's small! To the point of almost girl/child like. If your a man with large wrist or woman than it's small. A larger size would've allowed a bigger battery. A up to date precessor would've had better battery! My complaints are size and battery! If they would've brought it out with a newer processor and a slightly larger size i think it would've been the best watch ever! But no it's Google typical. Bring out something cheap and charge a fortune to test waters. Then slowly make things better and cheaper. If it doesn't stick than scrap it! I love Google products but for some reason that's there motto and it's getting old. I might return it, not sure yet. I love everything about it except for battery life. So i might deal with it too see where it goes. Typically though it'll be scrapped and we'll be back to Samsung or ticwatch. I do recommend ticwatch except for looks.

I think, overall, this watch is very meh. Compared to its competitors (Apple and Samsung) at this price range, it's very underwhelming. However, I think Google's heading the right direction and I will gladly pay to support that. With that said, there are several things Google didn't do right. 1. Size - only 41mm option. I don't have a huge hand, but my previous Samsung Galaxy 44mm size looked great on my wrist. This is very small. 2. Bezel - in addition to the size being small, the bezels are huge. I thought we were past large bezels in current tech? 3. Battery - okay... so, the watch is very small. It makes sense it won't be GREAT battery life, if you consider the small battery that has to go into this. Still... Samsung manages to get great battery life with their small (40-42mm) Galaxy Watch line-up. Google advertises 24 hours, but I really question under what condition. I'm active, but I never tracked my 'fitness' on any of my smart watches because I think it's pointless. All 'fitness' features are turned off, no AOD, limited notifications, auto-brightness, etc... w/e to get longer battery life. My ONLY reason for a smart watch is just to get message notifications, so that I can determine if it's something I need to respond to right away or not. I had my watch fully charged yesterday evening, about 3 hours before bed (11PM). It's about 11AM, the next day, and my battery is at 60%. My Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (44mm), in comparison, would normally be around 90%. 4. Charging Cable - Pixel watch uses a familiar charging puck. It's a puck to USB-C cable. I'm all for USB-C, but....... I don't have a bunch of USB-C low watt power adapter laying around. I have a couple USB-C power adapters from my old Pixels and iPad, but I don't want to use 25W+ adapter to charge a tiny battery. They should've just kept it a USB-A, I have plenty of old Samsung 15W adapters I could've used. OR, just include one on your first Pixel watch, so we can continue to use it for our future Pixel watches. 5. Limited App - in order to use the pixel watch properly, you need 2 apps: Pixel Watch app and Fitbit App. Both apps have their functions, meaning you have to remember/know what type of settings are in which app. If you're making me play 'find Waldo' within an app, that's just bad user design. If you're making me play 'find Waldo' between two different apps, you're just doing something wrong. How long has it been since Google acquired Fitbit... hurry up and merge it so we can have one fluid app for everything. Not to mention, it's not as intuitive or expansive as Samsung and Apple watch apps. Those were the major things they need to improve by the next generation. Let's be real, Apple Watch is the best smart watch in most ways. This is coming from an Android user. With that said, I hate how ugly the Apple watches are and I prefer to use my Pixel 7 Pro over my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Where Google lacks in hardware, Samsung makes up for that in competing with Apple. For that reason, I've always used Samsung watches because it was the only real competitor to the Apple Watch. While Samsung's new watchOS, in collaboration with Google on its latest Galaxy watches, was a huge improvement over their previous watchOS... it still didn't feel like WearOS that I expected. I love Samsung Galaxy phones, but I wanted a Pixel watch for the same reason I choose the Pixel phones over Galaxy phones. That's pure android experience. All things aside, the user experience has been pretty great (interacting with just the watch, not its apps). 1. I get my notifications like I want (though, it's super small space to read much) 2. swiping between widgets/faces are super smooth 3. controlling Google Smart Home stuff from the watch is SUPER convenient 4. rotating wheel on the side feels great to use 5. buttons are tactile 6. screen quality is a beauty 7. band is comfortable and easy to put on I'm really hoping they continue the "Pixel" line-up of devices. Their most recent Pixel Buds Pro is finally catching up to the likes of Apple Airpods Pro. I do kind of worry about scratching or cracking the screen. It's just out there in the open, the whole watch face. I'm waiting on Spigen to release a watch case for this (assuming they will). I traded in my Galaxy Watch 4 (44mm), and despite my complains I still don't regret switching. Google just needs a Pixel watch generation release that ends up being like Google's Nexus 6P. That will put Pixel watch on the map with the likes of Samsung and Apple watches.

Hi there LeeIB, we appreciate your detailed insight on the Google Pixel Watch. We're glad to hear that you liked some of the features and that the user experience for you has been great so far. We do apologize if the watch in general seems to have been underwhelming.

We optimized the design of the Google Pixel Watch to work for a wide range of users with different wrist sizes. With the easy to use band attach and wide range of accessories, users can easily personalize the look of the device.

Battery life will depend on how you use the Google Pixel Watch. The maximum battery life is approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will decrease battery life. Battery life depends on features enabled, usage, environment and many other factors. Actual battery life may be lower. Also, charging speed will depend upon many factors including usage during charging, battery age, and ambient temperature. Ideal charging speeds are listed below:

      About 30 minutes to 50%
      About 55 minutes to 80%
      About 80 minutes to 100%

If your charging speed is lower than these estimates please ensure you are charging in a cool place, removed from direct sunlight. Ensure that the watch is sitting or connected to the charger completely. Please also ensure you are using a USB-C USB-Power Delivery compliant power adapter.

We'll make sure to look into the other details of your feedback and see how we can further improve our product features and offerings. I had the Pixel Watch for a week and as a daily smartwatch and general fitness watch it was great. Android Pay worked very well and Fit Bit connection and integration was also really good. Very comfortable and stunningly gorgeous. Yes, I got many compliments. Now for the not so good. Screen is kinda on the small side making things hard to read and despite having a bright screen by what I heard I did not find it very bright making it more difficult to read in bright SoCal sun. Unfortunately I run almost daily and found it too hard to read during my runs. Also there was little to no customization to the run data screens. Basically the workout menu system needs a lot of work. So for just general smartwatch for Pixel watch this is perfection, but if your even slgihtly into sports especially running it is a hard pace from me. Google needs to make a Pixel Watch "Ultra" version. LOL!

The watch is light doesn't get cumbersome throughout the day barely notice you have it on. The haptic feedback is apple watch like enough to get your attention. The fitbit intergration is solid. The watch is beautiful to look at and will turn heads as it has no peer right now esthetically excellent watch face selection as well That's the good. The bad the watch is small it is expensive and the screen while bright feels cramped the bezel is too big and the watch band feels very cheap. I expected a power house longer lasting battery for this price and with all data out there alluding to the fact that battery life is important feature but they could not pull it off in this first iteration. Maybe the second one will be better. Overall it works well with other android phones and its obviously best suited with pixel phone. Hope some of this helps.

Overall, I love this watch. Super clean look, When paired with a Pixel phone, it works flawlessly. The few things keeping this watch from being 5 stars is the bezels are quite wide but are hidden well when using watch faces with a black background. Also, the battery longevity is one of the worst when compared to other smart watches. This will run about 36 hours on a full charge. Basically, you'll need to charge this up every night before bed if you wear it to track your sleep. On the plus side, it charges to full within about 20-25 minutes.

Really wanted to love this. Purchased it in preorder with the Pixel 7 Pro. First off, I love the way the watch looks with it's curved/circular body. The UI is beautiful. However it has a lot of drawbacks that I'm not too fond of: There's some relatively large bezels on this watch that doesn't blend so well except with certain black hues. On top of that, the display isn't so efficient with the battery so it drains fast. There as been WearOS watches with dual-displays for years now so you could have the Always-On feature enabled without it pulling much battery but they didn't implement that here. I routinely put it in theater mode because the battery drains so quickly (usually before mid-day). The Heart rate feature is anything but accurate. On top of all of this, it is also expensive. After all the excitement I had for this to release, it is greatly disappointing.

Only knocks on this watch is battery life and it's in part related to the other knock, too small for my preference but they're not dealbreakers. Give it a go.

The software experience is great for Google's first time producing a true Pixel Watch. I just wish there were size options. I'd much prefer a larger watch which would also allow for a larger battery. Maybe next year. I also wish there was a more rugged and masculine option. I think I'll still keep it though.

It's okay. It runs smoothly, but no ECG function, and battery life is mediocre, sometimes not lasting through the day. It is hard to get past the screen size, too, and this is the only size they make available. Going from a 45mm Apple Watch made this a huge dropoff in screen size, and it's very, very noticeable. I have since switched to the Galaxy Watch6 Classic 47mm, and I love it.

I guess if you like FitBit this would be an ok watch if they’d improve the battery life … but I need more than the info that a FitBit can supply.. the face was extremely small as well which made the touch screen difficult to use.. It was nicely built though.. stainless steel felt very premium.
