Even worse, this doesn't seem like an isolated experience. When reading the google reviews, the "Black Screen" issue seems to be a trend. It's extremely disappointing that Google doesn't seem to offer any remedy or buy back on what is clearly a defective device. This experience will certainly make me think twice before I ever purchase or recommend another Google product. I've had a total of 4 different Google Pixel phones, earbuds and this watch... this is sad and extremely disappointing.

Worst smart watch ever

Battery life was so horrible I would go to the gym for my workout and leave the 50% less battery life. The battery life would not even last an entire day before the watch would go into limp mode. It's a shame because it's a beautiful watch. You can take the watch off charge with 100%. Leave the house it's already dropped 10%. By the time I left the gym I'll be down to 30% battery. But with the battery life you have to turn everything off including the display so it becomes an expensive bracelet. Please try again Google maybe one day you'll get it right. Or like Fitbit once Google touches it, it becomes junk.

The watch lasted 14 months. not worth for the $350 price. apparently there is a lot of customers having issues with Google watches. I contacted Google and they say there is nothing they can do (what about making a better product or extending the warranty?) wont buy Google watches again. Considering a class action lawsuit

Touch screen inconsistent. App selection limited. Watch faces drain battery too. Processor slow. Notifications sometimes, or maybe not. Calls from watch are heard as clear, but in order to hear caller, the watch must be almost inside your ear. I am returning this after one week of use. Display of pictures is beautiful, but who cares if the battery dies mid-day and you can't tell time? I charge it at night to 100 before going to bed. During the day, I keep battery saver on, tilt to wake off and turn off sound. This thing is not worth the money -- do not buy this. My versa 2 from Fitbit was smarter with a 3-5 day battery. Ugh.

The worst Android-compatible smartwatch in 7 years

This is hands down the worst one I've ever owned. #1 - Battery Life, cannot even make it through a full day with always on display. Forget about sleep tracking. #2 - Step Inaccuracy, how can a company that acquired Fitbit be so god awful at measuring steps accurately? I'll have been walking around for a full hour with my son outside and I'll get the notification to "start moving" this hour. Does not merge data with steps from phone either unlike Samsung Health. #3 - Sleep Tracking Inaccuracy, on a rough night where we got maybe 90 minutes of sleep total thanks to sick newborn, this dang watch has the nerve to congratulate on my 90 sleep score. #4 - Price, missed the return window thanks to aforementioned baby so I set $350 on fire. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

Setup was easy enough but the battery lasts only no more than 30 hours of use. Needles to say it was very disappointing. We rather spend money on the Fitbit Charge 5 instead. Google and Fitbit had also updated the firmware recently as well but it didn’t address the known battery issue. We returned the unit. We hope that when Google/Fitbit comes out with another health/smartwatch that it would have better battery life compared to its competitors.

Unless you like paying hundreds to be a BETA TESTER, get something else. THEY HAVE NOT TESTED it's obvious with how glitchy it is. They need to go back to work on this, I should have gotten the Samsung and I may still if these problems persist. Simple stuff that should EASILY work, DON'T! Horrible battery life

After 13 months the screen went green. Horrible experience instore!! The entire exchange process was a nightmare and we didn’t get the product replaced. Strongly advise consumers not to purchase the extended warranty. If you can go directly to Google or Apple to make purchases that’s your best bet.
