It dies SO fast even when I have the settings set to battery saving options like only wake when I touch it and when I have the battery saving mode on. I get maybe a days worth of charge when I fully charge it. It does have a nice display and a sleeker look. It's easy to use which is nice.

It has a older processor and it's somewhat minimal in what you can do on it compared to the apple watch but it's not bad. It's efficient and surprisingly stylish but I can't trust a watch without sapphire glass seeing I personally bump into things waist level being tall. But for the price it really shouldn't be this behind with it's compactors aka the Samsung watches which are cheaper and higher spec.

Hi there MarcyF, thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing shorter battery life with your Pixel Watch.

Your Pixel Watch's battery life will depend on how you use your device, and maximum battery life is always approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will definitely decrease the battery life. A full battery for Google Pixel Watch goes all day with a charge that lasts up to 24 hours to support sleep tracking and other features. Google Pixel Watch comes equipped with settings to care for and help extend battery life. The 24 hour battery life is based on the following usage:
      - 240 notifications.
      - 280 time checks.
      - A 5 min LTE phone call.
      - 45 min LTE and GPS workout with downloaded YouTube music playback.
      - 50 minutes of navigation (Google Maps) while connected to a phone via Bluetooth®️
      - The watch is configured with the default settings, including the Always-on display set to off.

Please feel free to contact contact our support team, and we'd be happy to help you with your concerns and support needs on the Pixel Watch here: https://support.google.com/googlepixelwatch/gethelp madebygoogle

Should've been bigger for battery life!

I love the watch and Fitbit integration but it's small! To the point of almost girl/child like. If your a man with large wrist or woman than it's small. A larger size would've allowed a bigger battery. A up to date precessor would've had better battery! My complaints are size and battery! If they would've brought it out with a newer processor and a slightly larger size i think it would've been the best watch ever! But no it's Google typical. Bring out something cheap and charge a fortune to test waters. Then slowly make things better and cheaper. If it doesn't stick than scrap it! I love Google products but for some reason that's there motto and it's getting old. I might return it, not sure yet. I love everything about it except for battery life. So i might deal with it too see where it goes. Typically though it'll be scrapped and we'll be back to Samsung or ticwatch. I do recommend ticwatch except for looks.

I think, overall, this watch is very meh. Compared to its competitors (Apple and Samsung) at this price range, it's very underwhelming. However, I think Google's heading the right direction and I will gladly pay to support that. With that said, there are several things Google didn't do right. 1. Size - only 41mm option. I don't have a huge hand, but my previous Samsung Galaxy 44mm size looked great on my wrist. This is very small. 2. Bezel - in addition to the size being small, the bezels are huge. I thought we were past large bezels in current tech? 3. Battery - okay... so, the watch is very small. It makes sense it won't be GREAT battery life, if you consider the small battery that has to go into this. Still... Samsung manages to get great battery life with their small (40-42mm) Galaxy Watch line-up. Google advertises 24 hours, but I really question under what condition. I'm active, but I never tracked my 'fitness' on any of my smart watches because I think it's pointless. All 'fitness' features are turned off, no AOD, limited notifications, auto-brightness, etc... w/e to get longer battery life. My ONLY reason for a smart watch is just to get message notifications, so that I can determine if it's something I need to respond to right away or not. I had my watch fully charged yesterday evening, about 3 hours before bed (11PM). It's about 11AM, the next day, and my battery is at 60%. My Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (44mm), in comparison, would normally be around 90%. 4. Charging Cable - Pixel watch uses a familiar charging puck. It's a puck to USB-C cable. I'm all for USB-C, but....... I don't have a bunch of USB-C low watt power adapter laying around. I have a couple USB-C power adapters from my old Pixels and iPad, but I don't want to use 25W+ adapter to charge a tiny battery. They should've just kept it a USB-A, I have plenty of old Samsung 15W adapters I could've used. OR, just include one on your first Pixel watch, so we can continue to use it for our future Pixel watches. 5. Limited App - in order to use the pixel watch properly, you need 2 apps: Pixel Watch app and Fitbit App. Both apps have their functions, meaning you have to remember/know what type of settings are in which app. If you're making me play 'find Waldo' within an app, that's just bad user design. If you're making me play 'find Waldo' between two different apps, you're just doing something wrong. How long has it been since Google acquired Fitbit... hurry up and merge it so we can have one fluid app for everything. Not to mention, it's not as intuitive or expansive as Samsung and Apple watch apps. Those were the major things they need to improve by the next generation. Let's be real, Apple Watch is the best smart watch in most ways. This is coming from an Android user. With that said, I hate how ugly the Apple watches are and I prefer to use my Pixel 7 Pro over my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Where Google lacks in hardware, Samsung makes up for that in competing with Apple. For that reason, I've always used Samsung watches because it was the only real competitor to the Apple Watch. While Samsung's new watchOS, in collaboration with Google on its latest Galaxy watches, was a huge improvement over their previous watchOS... it still didn't feel like WearOS that I expected. I love Samsung Galaxy phones, but I wanted a Pixel watch for the same reason I choose the Pixel phones over Galaxy phones. That's pure android experience. All things aside, the user experience has been pretty great (interacting with just the watch, not its apps). 1. I get my notifications like I want (though, it's super small space to read much) 2. swiping between widgets/faces are super smooth 3. controlling Google Smart Home stuff from the watch is SUPER convenient 4. rotating wheel on the side feels great to use 5. buttons are tactile 6. screen quality is a beauty 7. band is comfortable and easy to put on I'm really hoping they continue the "Pixel" line-up of devices. Their most recent Pixel Buds Pro is finally catching up to the likes of Apple Airpods Pro. I do kind of worry about scratching or cracking the screen. It's just out there in the open, the whole watch face. I'm waiting on Spigen to release a watch case for this (assuming they will). I traded in my Galaxy Watch 4 (44mm), and despite my complains I still don't regret switching. Google just needs a Pixel watch generation release that ends up being like Google's Nexus 6P. That will put Pixel watch on the map with the likes of Samsung and Apple watches.

Hi there LeeIB, we appreciate your detailed insight on the Google Pixel Watch. We're glad to hear that you liked some of the features and that the user experience for you has been great so far. We do apologize if the watch in general seems to have been underwhelming.

We optimized the design of the Google Pixel Watch to work for a wide range of users with different wrist sizes. With the easy to use band attach and wide range of accessories, users can easily personalize the look of the device.

Battery life will depend on how you use the Google Pixel Watch. The maximum battery life is approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will decrease battery life. Battery life depends on features enabled, usage, environment and many other factors. Actual battery life may be lower. Also, charging speed will depend upon many factors including usage during charging, battery age, and ambient temperature. Ideal charging speeds are listed below:

      About 30 minutes to 50%
      About 55 minutes to 80%
      About 80 minutes to 100%

If your charging speed is lower than these estimates please ensure you are charging in a cool place, removed from direct sunlight. Ensure that the watch is sitting or connected to the charger completely. Please also ensure you are using a USB-C USB-Power Delivery compliant power adapter.

We'll make sure to look into the other details of your feedback and see how we can further improve our product features and offerings. Really wanted to love this. Purchased it in preorder with the Pixel 7 Pro. First off, I love the way the watch looks with it's curved/circular body. The UI is beautiful. However it has a lot of drawbacks that I'm not too fond of: There's some relatively large bezels on this watch that doesn't blend so well except with certain black hues. On top of that, the display isn't so efficient with the battery so it drains fast. There as been WearOS watches with dual-displays for years now so you could have the Always-On feature enabled without it pulling much battery but they didn't implement that here. I routinely put it in theater mode because the battery drains so quickly (usually before mid-day). The Heart rate feature is anything but accurate. On top of all of this, it is also expensive. After all the excitement I had for this to release, it is greatly disappointing.

Good design minimalist, bezels are ok could be thinner a little bit, battery life is a little below average for a smart watch, there is a weird screen burn in but it goes away after a few minutes it only happens when it stays on one screen for a while like the always on display clock, overall i would wait for the Pixel watch 2 since its gonna have the new snapdrsgon W5 chipset which should definitely improve battery life, and hopefully some refinements

It's okay. It runs smoothly, but no ECG function, and battery life is mediocre, sometimes not lasting through the day. It is hard to get past the screen size, too, and this is the only size they make available. Going from a 45mm Apple Watch made this a huge dropoff in screen size, and it's very, very noticeable. I have since switched to the Galaxy Watch6 Classic 47mm, and I love it.

I guess if you like FitBit this would be an ok watch if they’d improve the battery life … but I need more than the info that a FitBit can supply.. the face was extremely small as well which made the touch screen difficult to use.. It was nicely built though.. stainless steel felt very premium.

Love this thing. The UI is great, the experience is great abd the design is great but it badly needs to be larger. Battery is one full day only (though it does charge quickly) abd the screen is just so small. If they made it a 44mm it wiuld be perfect cause they would more battery space as well. Also very ovverpriced for a first gen device.

The pixel watch is okay watch but, it is not worth the $350 price. The battery life is not great. I dont see you being able to use the watch for sleep tracking without having to charge once or twice a day. The watch itself looks good but it is a bit small. I would recommend buying the samsung galaxy watch 4 or 5 over this watch.

Hi Devj, thanks for sharing what you think of the Pixel Watch. The new Google Pixel Watch comes equipped with settings to care for and help extend battery life. You can turn on Battery Saver when your Google Pixel Watch battery gets low. Please note while Battery Saver is on, the "Always-on screen" and "Tilt-to-wake" feature will be set to Off. For sleep tracking, you will need a minimum 30% charge (about 30 minutes to 50%). Try charging during your morning routine or during your wind-down time at night so the battery lasts while you’re sleeping. Huge missing feature, I assumed it was there because it is super basic. Had i known it wasnt there, i wouldnt have bought it. The watch will not sync your DoNotDistub or bedtime modes with you phone. You have to manually turn both on or off if you dont want to get woken up in the middle of the night by a random email. There is no way to schedule these modes on the watch. Google is too busy implenting niche features to bother to implement this super basic feature that people have been asking about for literally months. Battery life isnt great, but serviceable. I can make it 24 hours and almost charge that back up in the time it takes me to get ready for work. Almost. At least ine day a week i have to leave ot on the charger for another 30+ minites.

I love the look, feel, and design of the Pixel Watch. Coming from a FitBit Sense to this is a huge change, where the OS is super responsive, springy, and packed full of features. However I'm a very active individual. I do not recommend this product if you do long endurance exercises or need longer periods of data collection for activities. Even with battery saver features on and the Google assistant turned off, the watch barely makes it through a day for me. I can't imagine with continued use that the battery will hold a charge for a full day of activity for me so if you need that kind of tracking but love the Fitbit software I'd avoid this iteration of the Pixel Watch.

I have waited for this watch, but I expected more and definitely better. It will not make it through a day before it needs to be charged. I do not have extra apps or anything like that either. I had the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 and the battery still lasted me about 2 days. I do like the pook and feel of this watch, but the button gets pressed constantly. This causes all kinds of things to happen. I also get errors constantly for the sleep measurements. This watch was advertised as having the O2 readings and blood pressure, and I've yet to figure out either. It is a little disappointing, because a watch that was 3 years old did the same as this watch and had better battery life. Updates need to come quick, or Google will never be able to compete.

Hi Scantland4, thanks for patiently waiting for the release of the new Google Pixel Watch. We are sorry to hear that it fell short of meeting your expectations.

If you're willing to try, here are some recommended steps that may be helpful with the issue you highlighted:
      - Update your Pixel Watch by following the step-by-step guide on this link: https://support.google.com/googlepixelwatch/answer/12661804
      - Battery life is affected by how you use certain features. It will also depend on usage, environment and many other factors. A full battery for Google Pixel Watch goes all day with a charge that lasts up to 24 hours to support sleep tracking and other features. We recommend checking if your typical day of use will be comparable to the 24 hour battery life is based on the following usage:
      a. 240 notifications.
      b. 280 time checks.
      c. A 5 min LTE phone call.
      d. 45 min LTE and GPS workout with downloaded YouTube music playback.
      e. 50 minutes of navigation (Google Maps) while connected to a phone via Bluetooth.
      - The watch is configured with the default settings, including the Always-on display set to off.

I'm new to smart watches (though I've had a fitness watch before) and this is a decent watch and the battery lasts about 2 days before having to charge. I have AOD off. Did I mention this watch is very pricey compared to the competitors? Yes very expensive. The watch is not very exciting or anything. I sometimes forget about the watch when I charge it overnight and remember like 4 days later that I own a watch. One thing I kind of wish was that there was a small secondary battery or feature or something that displays the time if the main battery goes out so that I can still at least keep track of time. After all, this is called a "watch" right?

Google - Pixel Watch Smartwatch, this was my first smart watch and I'm not convinced I'll get another if I continue to wear a watch. It works well, but I don't like having to charge the battery every day. The battery will last a little more than 24hrs, but you better charge it up or it won't get you through day 2.

Google did a decent job with their first watch. There are a few issues though. Battery life is very poor, the only way I can get it to last a full day is to turn off a bunch of settings which I would like to be able to keep on. Every other night my sleep tracking data fails because the watch gets locked while I am sleeping, and stops reporting data. If I push hard while exercising, my reported heart rate will be half of what it is in real life. Once I reach 160 BPM, it thinks I'm at 80, then once I slow down a little it'll jump up to 150.

Typical fit bit. Heart rate tracking is wildly inaccurate. Forget about heart rate tracking at all if you have tattoos on your wrist. Auto detection of activity is par at best. Does not work well with not fitbit health traking apps and the fit bit app is lacking in feature and depth. Battery wont last 24 hours no matter what. The smart watch features dont stack up against my old Samsung gear s2. Overall i would probably say dont buy anything fitbit.

It is the second time I buy this item, the first time was in October 2023 and it only lasted two months apparently the battery does not come out good, in good faith I bought it again but this time I bought insurance because I really like the model, but I really hope that this time it will last me longer

Watch works great but the battery life it certainly an issue. To ensure that it does not run out through the day I must keep it off with the option for it to turn on only when it is tap. It has a delay receiving google home notifications. Many features require for you to open the phone, which makes it useless. Also, there are barely any apps that are compatible

Hi there, WAHBackup. Thanks for posting your feedback on Pixel Watch. We’re glad that it works, but we’re sorry to hear that your experience is below your expectations. We appreciate you pointing out some features we can improve for users like you, and we’ll share these information with the right team.

Meanwhile, you can turn on the Battery Saver when the battery gets low. While Battery Saver is on, the ""Always-on screen"" and ""Tilt-to-wake"" feature will be set to Off. For sleep tracking, you will need a minimum 30% charge (about 30 minutes to 50%). Try charging during your morning routine or during your wind-down time at night so the battery lasts while you’re sleeping. Also, not all developers have built Wear OS apps. You can check the Play Store on the watch for apps that are compatible with the Pixel Watch. You can press the side button next to the crown for additional apps and features on both LTE and Wi-Fi versions. When you browse or search for apps on your watch, all the apps you see will work on Pixel Watch.
