The only thing that has disappointed me is that the screen got scratched pretty quickly. I had been told (by friends) that I wouldn't need a screen protector, since it is gorilla glass. I will be looking for a case for the watch now.

Basic watch but fails horribly at battery life

I don't have things like the Always On Display active, or wifi, but only GPS and to trigger the display when I look at the watch. (Which does do this pretty well) And I'm lucky to have this last a full 24 hours off charge. Another issue is vibration, which is barely noticeable and the only workaround is to have any notification volume set next to 0. I can only recommend this watch if you get it for dirt cheap or free. I am only keeping this as I needed a cheap watch that had SOS functionality. Which I will say this does do quite well.

Your Pixel Watch battery life will always depend on how you use your device. The maximum battery life is always approximate and is based on testing using pre-production hardware and software. Use of certain features will definitely decrease the battery life. A full battery for Google Pixel Watch goes all day with a charge that lasts up to 24 hours to support sleep tracking and other features. Google Pixel Watch comes equipped with settings to care for and help extend battery life. The 24 hour battery life is based on the following usage:
- 240 notifications.
- 280 time checks.
- A 5 min LTE phone call.
- 45 min LTE and GPS workout with downloaded YouTube music playback.
- 50 minutes of navigation (Google Maps) while connected to a phone via Bluetooth.
- The watch is configured with the default settings, including the Always-on display set to off.
We recommend checking if your Pixel Watch usage is close to the typical 24-hour battery life usage we highlighted. Google is charging a premium for a 4-year-old processor. This is some seriously old school technology they're using in this old watch. They're charging you more than a Galaxy watch5. Do not purchase it. The battery life is terrible. Also it's not worth the money at all. Don't buy pixel watches. Wait until they respect the buyer and offer up up to date processing speeds along with higher quality newer watches. This watch is an old watch. They finally brought to the market. That's 4 years old.

I like how it interacts with the other Pixel products despite their shortcomings. Battery is good. Built in Fitbit is cool. However Fitbit, get this, STILL USES FLASH FOR THEIR WEB PORTAL!!!!!! Holy crap. Crazy stuff. Tracks sleep but is painful to wear at in bed and the strange band clasp system comes off very easily. Your sleep data will be flawed.

Good first watch for Google

Many of us have waited years for Google to put out their own watch and we have finally been greeted with their first flagship watch. Overall, the watch runs well and does most of what it's supposed to do. It communicates well with my Pixel 7 Pro and I can finally talk to Google and tell it to send messages unlike with my Fossil watch. The downside of this device for me is that it runs a little slow at times and sometimes will glitch when trying to send a message. When I try to respond to a message and I'll tap on the microphone, sometimes nothing happens or there's a tremendous lag for it to be able to listen to me. I think that this is a great first start for Google, but there do need to be improvements within the hardware capability and software. I will also say that one criticism is that the bezel is too big, and I would agree with this. Having my watch face take up the whole front of the screen would really be a nice thing in the future. Definitely not a bad start, but definitely needs some improvement.

Great Watch...... But it's small

Except the size of the watch face. I'm 6 foot and have large hands. I literally had so many people come up to me and tell me the watch looked really small. This led me to returning my watch. I've worn watches for the better part of a decade and never had anyone come up to me and comment on the size of my watch
