Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the Pixelbook Go's excellent keyboard, long battery life, and light weight as significant advantages. Its ease of use and surprisingly good speakers also receive praise. However, some customers find the price to be high and express concerns about the hinge's durability. Limited storage is another recurring point of feedback.

This computer arrived in excellent condition. The computer was touch screen and the touch screen was bright and clear enough. I like that this computer allows you to download various apps from the app store or the Google Play store. Chromebooks are very beneficial to students. My daughter has a separate chromebook that has a "pen" attached to write notes on the computer screen itself. She always says that the computer is very fast, making it easy to browse. If you're a student, especially a college student, and you need a laptop BUY THIS!

The build quality rivals Apple, just don’t feel Chrome OS is quite there yet. Had some WiFi drops that required a restart, and the 64GB of bass storage is just not sufficient for this high chrome book price. Screen okay, as well. Keyboard was incredible.

Got this for my wife, as she needed a better Chromebook with a really good camera for virtual telegrams. The 1080p camera with Wide View is perfect for her needs. The screen is gorgeous. I wish it folded back further, but she doesn't care. I have the 2nd Gen Pixelbook, and love folding the screen all the way back, to be in tablet mode. Can't do that with the Go. The touchscreen is great as well. I don't think my wife is going to care about getting a stylus, but she loves being able to use her finger for various things.

It's hard to exceed this particular ChromeOS benchmark. This model of Pixelbook sports an attractive, minimalist design, boasting a utilitarian approach to getting oneself entertained or getting productivity tasks done. As the base model from the available Pixelbook Go series, it feels powerful and acts responsively, not once lagging behind as you browser with multiple tabs and activities going on in the foreground and background. (Speaking from my own usages of this device.) Adding to their capabilities, Chromebooks now enjoy the ability to use Android apps, furthering what they can do - productivity, multimedia editing, gaming (more on this later!). Furthermore, for the "power user" among us, capability is another door opened when taking advantage of the Linux environment available within ChromeOS. The installation and usage of desktop-level programs becomes a fact of life, to be taken for granted. On the subject of gaming, Chromebooks aren't left behind. This Pixelbook Go has been taken through its paces with Google's own gaming platform, Google Stadia, a cloud-gaming platform boasting its own full set of features and benefits that most Chromebooks can enjoy. While not limited to Stadia, there are other cloud-gaming services out there, but this reviewer uses Stadia exclusively as it is arguably the most user-friend and no-frills of the cloud-gaming options out there. In closing, this is a solid product and my satisfaction exceeds the paltry 5 stars I am given to quantify this sentiment. Great hardware, versatile software and an excellent user experience, I can't recommend this product enough nor this ecosystem.

This will do just about everything one needs to accomplish online from social media to web searches and research, banking, you name it. It's especially good if one's already up to one's eyeballs in the Google ecosystem. Beats the heck out of various tablets I've had in the past (Android based). Good battery life, boots up and shuts down quickly. Use cloud storage and the small SSD isn't a problem. Don't go crazy with the apps, though. Keep the stuff you regularly from your Android phone and you'll be doing good!

Excellent Chromebook. Very well made, the keyboard is especially nice, as good as the one on my much more expensive MacBook Pro. ChromeOS isn't a full fledged OS like MacOS or Windows, but as long as you can live in the Cloud (there is some offline functionality though) you will love it. I use my MacBook Pro for more hardware intense applications and for MS Office but the Pixelbook Go for everything else. Love it.

I purchased this Chromebook primarily for my son’s usage during distance learning. The touch screen, perfect screen size, and sleek design makes this purchase the perfect choice thus for. Not only has he used it for school but he has gone on educational and gaming sites that he would normally seek out while at the public library. Although, this maybe a Chromebook, the features and ease of use gives it the feeling of a laptop. We’re totally satisfied with this purchase!

It's pretty great. Wait till it goes on sale though. We needed one of these for school and opted out of the protection plan, but for a screen protector and case from AZ. I wrote an article about how to set it up with parental supervision and school access: https://medium.com/@choy/setting-up-a-chromebook-for-home-and-school-cc631a2fa068
