Cheap and cool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It works perfectly (exactly as the not refurbished) You can cast in HD without any problem The only lag I saw was Mirroring the PC desktop (it says is Beta) but you can use this function anyways.. The problem is if you watch a video in this function.

Great Mirroring Device!!

This is a great devise for mirroring what you would normally watch on your cell phone or computer for entertainment. It is also great for presentations!

The refurb. product works just as well as new
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little product,only downside is that you have to stream from a device as opposed to direct streaming on a smart tv, Apple TV, Amazon fire stick or roku. It seems to buffer less than my roku stick.

Watch out for the commercials on Youtube

Now, it is so annoying with the long commercials on YouTube. You have to press the on screen skip button every single time or you're forced to watch the long 2 to 5 minutes commercials.

Horrible

Never wants to stream. I can load videos on my ps4 with the same WiFi as the chromecast but it buffers and stops and keeps sending error messages to my phone. Garbage honestly. Don't buy it. Maybe 2nd Gen is better but I highly doubt it. Apple TV is probably the best.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Instead of streaming to your tablet or phone and then to your chrome cast just go get an amazon fire stick gives you more aps to use and it requires less bandwidt. I have a chrome cast thrown in a cabinet somewhere now all I use is the fire stick
