After reading the reviews on this product I stepped out on a limb and purchased it. After it came in the mail the entire setup process was simple and my network coverage at home has increased significantly. No more dead spots or figuring out where I can use 2.4 or 5gh anymore, it does it for you, thus for all connections in my home have been optimal. There is also a feature that you can pass the password to others so that the my connect instead of reading it off the device.

Very simple to install and operate. Had these for 18 months now, and wouldn't go back to a single centralized WIFI. No issues with speed or drop out associated with these units, and provides great coverage for my long and narrow ranch house. The app that goes with it provides all the info you need. There are a couple of things in the app that aren't obvious, but a quick google search helps figure those out.

The app makes connecting and managing everything fairly easy. Not a single complain about the routers.

I've been replacing our company's Apple Base Stations with these and will eventually only use these.

I love my Google WiFi so much, I bought another three pods. I used one to extend my home network a little more, one to setup WiFi at my Datacenter suite and another one at my acting studio. So now I have three separate Google WiFi networks I can manage all from one app. My only gripe is still that I can only manage it from a mobile device (no web interface) but I still prefer it over every WiFi Router I've ever had before (many many kinds).

Google Nodes are great. Easy to setup, prompts are simple to follow, creates a solid meshed network.

Mesh network is the way to go. I used to mess around with wifi extenders, but it would get complicated when you walk around the house since my computer/phone had to reconnect every movement. I did a lot of research on the Mesh network systems like Orbi or Eero, but for me, it came down to price and reliability of the connection. I have the three hubs scattered around the house and my app tells me if one is too far... or one is not connected. It's very user friendly.
