Plug and play, not much else to say. Plug one unit into your modem, the rest out at different parts if your house. I have a 3740sq ft house 2 story. I placed the main unit that was plugged into modem centrally upstairs, one near the garage and one on the opposite side of the house. Perfect coverage and easy reset and test if needed.

I purchased the Google WiFi system to replace an aging router that was unable to provide an adequate signal throughout my two story home. I had researched "Mesh" networks and the Google system got consistently good reviews and solid marks in the areas that mattered to me. I also like the idea of being able to manage it via an app in lieu of having to log in to the router itself and make configuration changes. The installation was a snap and the system was up and running within minutes with all three nodes deployed throughout my home. I now have consistently fast and great coverage from everywhere on my property, including garage and outside areas. As I needed additional ethernet ports at the main node connected to my cable modem, I purchased a simple, unmanaged 8 port switch which worked perfectly with absolutely no configuration hassles. For parents or people with frequent guests, the app for the Google system allows you to simply manage access both locally and from afar. Handy if your teenagers have been online too long or you simply want to deny access to a particular device. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase!

I did a lot of shopping for mesh network options and finally settled on Google Wifi. Very easy setup and straightforward and simple Google app to mange the network. Strong signal and full coverage through the house and backyard. Easily expandable by adding another node. Great parental kill switch and overal network monitoring.

I used previously router, router+extender but still not effective. I bought 3-pack and placed them on east , middle and west (primary) of my first floor. It is very easy to set up. Now I have full coverage on every corner of my house, from basement to second floor. Also the SSID doesn't change when I move around in my house.

I love how easy it is to set up this router. 3 devices nicely cover my 3500 sqft area. Android app is easy to use and you get to manage internet time for specific user devices. Usually you would want to hide your router, but not this one. It looks beautiful and will go with any home decor. Each device has a network cable port.

This was almost a no brainer for me but I read reviews to just to make sure that people had good things to say. The google wifi is SO easy to setup and get good coverage if you have, for example, a big house. I don't technically need all 3 points but hey, now I have seamless, awesome wifi coverage all over my house. I love it!

I have a 3 level townhouse with about 3,400 square feet. Previously had a single router on middle floor and a range extender on first floor. So-so coverage and speed. Had trouble getting WIFI signal in back of home. Not to mention extender had different I'D so I would have to sign on whenever I changed floors. Purchased 3 Google pucks and now get great coverage and speeds in excess of Xfinity stated speeds. You must hard wire one to your modem but the others can be wired or wireless. I tried both ways. Wireless worked well and gave good coverage and speed. Wire hookup for all devices even better. Good interface and easy to set up. Glad I chose Google over the other brands I researched.

I wanted to wait a couples of months before posting so I could really do a good evaluation. The house runs 10 devices from phones, tablets, gaming devices and streaming services. I can say I very rarely experience buffering or slowness. I have more than impressed with not only the speed but the coverage is better as well. The App used to monitor and setup the system is really friendly and easy to use. I like how it does a lot of the setup for you. Encryption is on by default and I can't find a way to turn it off, even though I have not desire to. Software update do come at night so if you are a night owl, it might act slow for a minutes or so around 3AM. Overall well worth the money.

Google products have always been simple and easy to use and this is no different. An expandable mesh system that only needs you to open the app and scan the router to add to the mesh is excellent and is easy for anyone to setup. If you're looking to get rid of deadspots, increase network load, and speed get this system.

This product is excellent. I had purchased the more expensive Lynksys Velop and that product did not work for me. I returned it to Best Buy after the deadline and they let me exchange it for this system. I have not looked back. This system is reliable and fast and does exactly what it says it will do. I am very happy.

I was using an old school Netgear AC1750 in which it had been good back in the days but of cause I always had WiFi issues downstairs and all attempts of angling the huge antennas were not working so I pushed myself to get a new router. What would work for me and which one is most cost efficient that will not break the bank? I read reviews of the Eero, Orbi, & etc there was just so much out there but this is where the common sense comes in. What do we use all the time that works? Google So I went for it, got myself the Google WiFi and when compared to the others, this one was cheaper but yet rated "best WiFi system by CNET". The setup was so simple, if you can follow the on-screen instructions then you will be able to set this up. Once it is setup you will be surprised how well the WiFi works because it was just a plug and play thing for me. The speed it good, i don't have to consistently reboot the router like the Netgear. Might need to get 1 more puck later but for now t he 3 x Puck is working great so i would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a good reliable WiFi.

Very pleased with this product. I do not mind sharing my info with Google, so that helps. I get updates on my phone should my network go down. I can run speed tests from the app anytime I like to see if something is draining the network. I can group and throttle and monitor all online devices. For $250, well worth it.

If you can use a smartphone you can set these up. This is a very simple process and the wifi points work together really well throughout the house. Even if you only "need" two according to the square footage of your home the additional wifi point is very useful for extending the range of the network. Great process.

I have three stories to cover with WiFi. The square footage of each are small, but having one access point did not work well. Now, with three points, each floor has great coverage. The Google WiFi app is also great for setup and monitoring g things, including filtering for my children''s devices. Highly recommended!

As our family has gotten older and the number of devices has increased our old Netgear N router just couldn't keep up. Have had the Google WiFi for a week now. Have over 22 devices on it and have had no problems at all. We are lightning fast on all the devices. Setup was easy. If you are hesitant, don't be. Do it.

Our home is around 3100 sq ft and our WiFi/modem combo, the extender or a separate conventional router still created dead spots. Dead spots no more with Google WiFi. It does what it says and we now have blazing fast internet all over the house even reaches outside. Setup was a breeze. The app is awesome.

After spending nearly a month - on the phone with my internet provider - trying to get better coverage and performance out of the Internet we provide at one of our businesses, I walked into Best Buy and found these. Not only did it fix our coverage issues, but we're now able to utilize the download/upload speeds our Internet service boasts. For those looking for office OR home use, I highly recommend this system. The App is very cool and easy to use on my iPhone, and again-they work amazingly well. FYI, my business is 4,600 sq. ft. and as many as 38+ people at a time are logged on and using our Internet. The pack of three seems to be sufficient, but I still may go add one more. Next project: my home.

My three level home has excellent coverage without any dropped connections. Even in the basement, I can stream movies/TV shows without any issues. The installation was quick and easy. I can monitor the speed I am getting in the app and it is very good. It is close to my broadband provider speed that I have.

I used this to replace the router that my cable company gave me which gave very spotty coverage, had to be reset several times per week and my connected devices were always dropping. Since I have connected these I have not had to rest them once in the few months I have owned them. The speed appears to be good and it cover the the whole house. The app allows for easy monitoring and I can restrict devices. Upon hooking them up I was initially worried that I was going to have a bright light from the glow of the unit but quickly saw you can dim or turn that off in the app. I have not however found a way to prioritize a device for more than a few hours.

My previous router was getting a bit long in the tooth so I decided it was time for a replacement. In looking at the logs on the device, I could see multiple attacks coming in from Chinese What I wasn't interested in, however, was a router with dozens of options I don't need. I've been an tech geek as long as I can remember, but that doesn't mean I want to have four SSIDs broadcasting different VLANs, RADIUS authentication, and Bonjour fowarding for AirPrint. If none of that made any sense to you, you'll understand why this product is so good: you just plug it in, name the network, set a password, and that's pretty much it. In addition to simplicity, you also get a handy mobile app from which you manage your access points. They're very clean, well-made devices that fit nicely into a spot about the size of a coffee mug. They each have two network ports if you want to connect them via traditional cables, but that feature also allows you to connect wired devices in remote parts of your house, should you need to. Overall, excellent work on Google's part.
