Easy set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a two story home and had some dead spots/slow connections with my older router, especially on the second floor because the modem/router are located on the lower level. I thought about relocating the router or purchasing an extender, but each of those options had its limitations. I decided to purchase two Google Wifi units (one upstairs/one downstairs), and set up was a snap using the app. There are no more dead spots in the house, and this set up should keep us up with our wifi needs going foward.

So far works awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get 150 MBS from Xfinity. The google router typically pushes 80-100 MBS with 35 devices attached. The three wifi points more than adequately covers a 2 story home with basement. My ASUS router struggled to reach the basement. The set up is also incredibly easy. Much easier than a traditional wifi router. I love it so far.

Impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed so far. The setup was incredibly easy - they even have timers for when you have to wait for components to restart. Speeds have been good and connection seemingly reliable. Love the App and being able to see speeds and usage by each connected device. Don't like Google much but am very happy so far. Good value for the price too.

Better than eer*
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was an eer* user, until I had an eer* unit die on me. I decided to try the Google system and I'm glad I did. First, the Google units seem to have more range. Next, I have almost zero outages whereas before I was resetting units constantly. Before, it was constant buffering...now it's rare. I also think the Google software gives you more control over the network than the eer* software. And to top it off, the Google system costs less. It's win-win and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anybody.

Didn't think I needed it, Now I need more! Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying: this has been the best solution to my wifi problems & MORE! I have an Arris that TimeWarner/Spectrum gave me a modem where its wifi began going off and on randomly, and its speed has begun deteriorating. My first choice was to get the most expensive Netgear Nighthawk which I did, but wanted to try this google wifi router first as I would imagine it would be simpler and less expensive solution to my wifi issue. I didn't know what to expect when I put it, but once I connected it pretty simply - it ran AMAZING and found this: - 2.4 / 5 G signals both run at the same time under ONE network name. (my modem didn't do this and had 2 separate networks, making it annoying to switch when one was messing up) - It is a brand NEW network signal, instead of re-transmitting my broken wifi coming from my modem. (so I'm able to disable my modem's wifi, and just use google's wifi signal) - My speeds literally DOUBLED. Which would make sense because now a wifi router is in my room, and the 5g signal can completely shine without interference by walls and stuff! - Speeds went over what I'm actually paying for, which I didn't think was possible. (I pay for 100 mbps, my old wifi could barely keep 60, but with google wifi - I have 120-130 now!) - It looks nice and goes with my other google products. I haven't opened my Netgear Nighthawk modem yet, but I'm going to return it now since my interruption problem has been resolved, and I now realize a modem's 5g wifi wouldn't be as efficient or effective away from my room. My modem is at the center of my house, but google's wifi transmits right from my room. Because I already had a hole with a direct cable line to my modem in my room - it was perfect to get this! Now my new neighbor, whose stupid network has been slowing down my old wifi signal, now has to compete with my google's signal - and I'm winning and enjoying the speeds I'm paying for. :) Will buy another for my living room and upstairs in the near future.

Amazing System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because of internet connection issues in my home. I have 3 ring cameras and a doorbell, a wifi garage door, a Nest thermostat, 3 tablets, a laptop, 2 smartphones, and 3 wifi connected tv's. When I installed this all of my lag and spotty issues were resolved. Worth every penny to have reliable connections throughout my home and my cameras experience no latency or connection issues now.

Purchased for My Parents....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was purchased for my parents because my mothers Apple iPhone 7 and her Google Homes were starting to have internet connection issues when at the home. We started by going to the internet provider and they supplied her with a new modem because the one she was using was "completely out of date" according to them. After that didn't fix her phone issues, we opted to upgrade the router from an Apple branded routed (not time capsule though... one of the small ones). At first we were convinced it was the internet provider because Google was having issues connecting. When my husband had connected ours at home it took about 5 minutes, but it took about 25 with my parents. It eventually synced up and started working. Since then, everything runs SO MUCH FASTER. They have a quad level home and only purchased one and it seems to cover all areas that they are in! They LOVE how much faster the internet runs and how easy it is to look at their devices (and that we can look at everything from a distance without having to be at their home!). Huge Life Saver!

Amazing performance
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I connected with the internet modem, the setup process was easy. With few prompts, it was detected on the network and speed/coverage is amazing. Prior to connecting this router, it was difficult to get wi-fi in the corner rooms of the home but after connecting I get wifi in the entire home.

Totally Awesome and Totally Simple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After comparing the Orbi, the Plume, and the Google devices (price, size, controller app features) I settled on the Google devices which can be mounted in optional wall plug mounts, are cheaper, and have only a few options that non-IT Pro's can get into trouble with. I purchased the 3 pack and crossed my fingers. I placed one in the office (central to the house) and one was placed at the front of the house between the Ring doorbell and the driveway, and the third was placed toward the back of the house to give coverage to our outdoor area and the far back bedroom. After connecting all the WiFi equipment to the new SSID for the Google WiFi, I now have full, high speed coverage from the road to my back fence! Of course at the furthest extremes it's not the strongest signal, but it's good enough to be reliable with no dropouts for streaming music and setting up Google Maps while in the driveway. Prior to installing these units, I had to keep my tablet on the windowsill in the back yard and could not set up google maps while sitting in my car.

Transformed Quality of Our Home Fios Internet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't recommend Google Wifi strongly enough - after years of struggling with slow wifi speeds and deadspots using a Verizon Fios Modem/Router combo, the Google 3 pack did the trick - speeds now range from roughly 40-80mb (depending on distance from the main router) throughout our house, the 3 routers sync together seamlessly, and the problematic and very tricky Fios router remains in service but with Wifi switched off. Dead zones and lost coverage areas in our multi-level townhouse all gone - even strong coverage on the street in front of our house. Highly recommended! Now if Verizon would just allow users to easy disconnect their modem/router altogether...

Simple and fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The set up was so simple and quick. I now have faster and better wireless internet in spots of my home where previously I had spotty reception or none at all. Only needed two of the three at this point. I would highly recommend these. Much better than any previous boosters and certainly better than Xfinitiy's modem :/
