The 3 pack of google wifi's are perfect for my 2 story (3000 square foot) home. They are a snap to setup and give you the ability to use parental controls (their smart search filtering technology). Also they have a scheduler that allows you to limit the time for the kiddos and even setup priority devices if you are in a low bandwidth situation. Each node has a hardwired port so if you need a hard line connection somewhere else in the house, simply buy another wifi node plug it in and connect it to your existing mesh. Its easy, scalable and leaves your family happy and you are worry free.

I installed this on a three level town home. Internet router install in the lower level and coverage in mid and top floor was just about average. Setup: it was very easy to install and follow the instructions. You will require to download Google's app to do all configurations. Total time of setup and installation was about 30 min's (advance user) for a beginner I would say 45min time frame. After setup. I notice a great increase in speeds from my mobile devices to my laptops. getting speeds up to 90.0 MB!!! Wi-FI range increase as well. Over all I've had this install and running for 2 months with out any issues. I would highly recommend it.

I'm a power user and have tried numerous whole home and mesh systems. Surprisingly, as much as the Google WiFi system is meant to be easy for casual technology users, and has less power user settings other than IPv6, it is the most reliable and consistent whole house system I have found. I think the secret is that the Google Wifi adjusts the wifi channels every 5 to 10 mins optimizing the signals. I'm having the most reliable connections I have had from 3 different brands recently. Using my system with Apple, Windows, and numerous home automation wifi stations. Very very pleased!!

Easy to install, and I am not a techie! Expanded coverage in the house, and upload speed is about 30% faster than the previous system.

I have a two story townhouse and had spots that were dead zones even with a repeater. There are so many choices and the employee was so helpful and honest. I told him about the space and he said Google WiFi was the best. He was right. It was so easy to set up that I was skeptical about how it would work. It is awesome and so fast. There is no lag and the ability to boost connection to one device is great. If only I had found this sooner!!!

Google WiFi is amazing. It is the only router I have ever seen that did not create a bottleneck. I am getting the same speeds over wireless that I get over LAN. It’s really mind blowing.

I am a78 year old grandmother and when I went to Best Buy I had no idea what kind of WiFi system I was going to buy. I had Comcast and it didn't cover my whole house. So when I got to Best Buy I told the guy at the door what I needed. The man he hooked me up with suggested for me to buy the Google WiFi. It is the best investment I ever made. I hooked it up myself!! You can not imagine my excitement when Google came on to welcome me. It has worked perfectly ever since!!

The Google WiFi Home system is easy to setup, elegant and efficient.

It only took me about 20 minutes to set up this 3 unit system. We live in a 1.5 story home that does not have an open floor plan so our Wi-Fi signal was having to go through several walls to get to the Master Bedroom and we were having some buffering issues with our smart tv in the den. The modem/router is in a bonus room upstairs which added to the issue. Well, no more. I just followed the instructions. Unit 1 is plugged into the modem/router using the provided ethernet cable, Unit 2 is plugged into an open area wall socket downstairs in our den and Unit 3 is plugged into a wall socket in the Master Bedroom. I also purchased the brackets which keeps 2 of them from sitting on a surface. See pictures below.

Finally, we can say goodbye to unsightly routers. This extremely well designed product, that you can proudly put on display on top of you furniture, creates a mesh that covers your entire home. My 200 mbps speed never drops below 60 mbps, even in remote corners. Congratulations, Google

This mesh system for Wi-Fi is incredible. I maintain these in two different locations that have Wi-Fi setup. They make switching between Wi-Fi points seamless and effortless. These are the best priced out of all the options you have out there. I highly recommend these.

This was a great investment. The Google system is quick and very easy to setup. I would recommend this system to anyone who has WIFI dead zones in their house and backyard. Excellent system!!!

It was such an easy setup, it literally was harder to open up the box. I plugged everything, downloaded the app, scanned the router, set up my wifi name, and up I was doing homework. I'm impressed by google, router looks so stylish too.

We have a 3800 sf home and have never had good signal strength in the basement or upstairs. This gives us full bars of wifi wherever we are in the house. That's 3 teens and 2 adults on wifi or streaming movies. Highly recommend

I had a very poor Wifi signal in my room and I was looking for a simple router to give me a boost. The best part about this Google router it's fast setup, it does everything for you.

I was looking for a product that would boost the wifi speeds in my town home. The previous owner had the cable line in the basement so that is where Verizon installed my modem. I was having issues getting decent upload/download speed on the 2nd and 3rd levels of my home. After installing the Google Wifi system my up/down speed increased significantly. The speed on the 2nd floor went from 34up/53down to 106up/100down. The 3rd floor saw an even better increase. Speeds went from 33up/22down to 98up/106down. See the attached pictures for proof of increase speeds. I would recommend this product to anyone look to boost wifi speeds, especially for homes with multiple levels.

My WiFi was weak in the basement and after I remodeled it and added a suspended ceiling the signal was weaker. Adding 3 mesh units gave me a stronger signal throughout the house. Now my WiFi treadmill connects, my electric smart meter has not lost its connection, the ring doorbell and arlo cameras have better reception. I connected one unit near my router, one in the dining room, and the third is central in the basement. I don’t need all the features like turning WiFi off at dinner time but I’m sure families will use it. Photos of my treadmill and a basement location using a neat device to hold it on the wall. Set up was rap and intuitive.

This is my first encounter with a Wifi-Mesh type router and it has been a great experience. The best thing about this router is its awesome Wifi coverage area, followed by its elegant and pleasing exterior design, all executed in a very simple and easy-to-use software setup. Never before in and outside of my home did I experience such great and consistent Wifi coverage and speed. With one router inside my bedroom next to the cable modem, one router placed inside another bedroom, and the third router placed inside the living room close to the kitchen, my whole home is blanketed in strong, even, consistent, and fast Wifi. With my previous router, the Asus RT-AC86U, my Wifi speed would slow down when I'm outside sitting on my front porch. The 5GHz frequency was barely usable there so I would switch to the 2.4GHz band to do anything meaningful. With the Google Wifi mesh setup, there is no place where I don't get fast and reliable coverage. Just wow. Even the packaging was a delight - the clean, white rectangular box and the three round & well-crafted routers you see once you flip open the package. They are eye-pleasing and for a household like mine where pretty much almost all of the furniture are white, these routers blend in very well. Another aspect of the router experience that is worth mentioning is how simple it was to set up the router using the Google Wifi app. It guides you through each of the steps and they are very easy to follow along and execute. Upon opening the app, the user is greeted with a visual diagram that succinctly & clearly displays the number of your Wifi points and the number of devices that are connected to the network. Tapping the "Wifi points" option takes you to a screen that tells you where each of your Wifi points are located in the house. From this screen, you can tap on the Settings icon where you can perform the following tasks: check for new firmware updates & update firmware, restart the network, perform a factory reset, and control the brightness of each Wifi access point. Tapping on the "Devices" option takes you to a screen that shows you the names and number of devices connected to the network. When you tap a device in this screen, you're given the option to change the name of each device and also to view its current real-time network activity. Other nifty & useful features include Guest Wifi and Family W-Fi Pause. With the Family Wi-Fi Pause, one can pause Internet service to certain devices. If there is one thing I miss from my old router that I wish these Google Wifi routers supported is the option to connect my external USB hard drive to the router to setup my own network drive that I can access from anywhere with an app. Frankly, I never really used this option very much so its absence here is not critical for me and not a deciding factor against Google Wifi. With that said, I'm very, very pleased with this router & I highly recommend it to anyone.
