Mesh!

I used to mess around with wifi extenders, but it would get complicated when you walk around the house since my computer/phone had to reconnect every movement. I did a lot of research on the Mesh network systems like Orbi or Eero, but for me, it came down to price and reliability of the connection. I have the three hubs scattered around the house and my app tells me if one is too far... or one is not connected. It's very user friendly.

Covers whole 3500 sq.ft house

One of the satellites was placed on the main floor of the house about 25' from the router and one on the second level. Definitely improved the reception all over the house and the basement where we have a camera and motion sensor. Set up was not difficult, except that we had to reinstall all the D-Link cameras and various sensors. Has been working reliably ever since.

Best Wifi coverage for large multi-story home

In addition, it’s easy to set up and with the app you can manage everything from your phone down to individual users and devices.
