We have UVerse for our cable and internet provider. The internet is fiber and supposed to provide gigabit speed. The gateway is located on the main level of our two story house. The Wifi signal was very weak in the basement and the bedroom areas on the second floor. I looked at several options and decided to go with this product. I placed the primary puck next to the gateway, one by the TV upstairs and one by the TV downstairs. I then connected the TV’s to the pucks via Ethernet and ran speed tests with both WiFi and Ethernet to see how big of a difference there was. Just adding the puck upstairs gave me a boost from around 25 mbps to well over 200 mbps and when connected via Ethernet I was able to get speeds up to 550 mbps. I am able to stream 4K movies without buffering. The setup was a breeze and app is easy and has useful tools. I highly recommend this product.

I converted from a combo modem/router product with an amplified extender, to Google Wifi. It is a vast improvement on bandwidth speeds throughout the far reaches of my house. It also provides seamless coverage throughout the house instead of having to switch from one signal to another once closer to the extender. I liked it so much, I bought a second set for our cabin since we get very poor cell reception there.

The setup was very quick and easy. The coverage was much better than my previous routers.

I wish i had bought this sooner. It's amazing. Very easy to set upand works like a charm.

Bought this when I upgraded to 200 gb service. Wanted something that would get good coverage. This is great, super easy set up and I can control it from anywhere. The ap is great for a non tech savvy person. A great finishing touch to a high speed service

Exactly what I was looking for. More expensive than a wifi booster, but so much better.

Google did a very nice job with setting up with home network solution However there is just a few issues i do take part with. 1. Is the fact its wayyyyy too simplified. So advanced techie people looking to get really in the details on things, might want to look elsewhere. (Like, you can't change wifi channels for example..) 2. when and IF there is an issue (particularly from what i've seen, if theres an issue with an access point that may or maynot bring down the ENTIRE network) You cannot restart the network unless you unplug it. which leads me to my main issue with this mesh wifi. 3. It has to be connected to the internet to function. So using it on a peer to peer infrastructure is impossible to do or for that matter, using it with an existing wifi network, i.e making this google wifi a subnet of an existing network is really, really difficult, especially if you have a Verizon fios network. Oh and lastly. 4. You HAVE TO USE the google wifi app. You CANNOT use the webpage or a terminal, or any other means. And the issue with google wifi is it MUST be connected to the internet to function, or edit settings, which is the biggest flaw i have with this unit as a whole. But personally once its connected you really don't have much issues. The only major one i've had is, when the network does go down and you need to reboot the mesh wifi, you have to manually go over to it and unplug it, which is a hassle for me because its in its own isolated space that isn't easy to get to. So please keep in mind when you set these up to have the main access point easily accessible incase you have to service it.

If you're having trouble with deadspots in your home, get this product. The Google Wifi has great range and also has an ethernet port on each puck for devices that need a hardwire. It covers my whole home and I can control the connections to every device on my network, even prioritize a device if I feel others are draining the bandwidth. Elegant design and controllable led light are very nice as well.

This Google Wifi option is outstanding! It is so versatile. From connecting every corner of my house and most of my back yard, to the 'hard wire' option it provides for electronics that to not have a built in wifi option. Even better than I was expecting from the great review I had previously read. I even got my parents to invest in it and they are much happier with their coverage in their home as well.

Plenty of coverage across entire home. Easy to set up and ready to go within minutes.

I installed in a roughly 2,000 sqft house (two floors). The signal was strong enough that I ended up only using 2 of the 3 stations and it's seamless walking from one room to the next while streaming. The app for the phone is also simple and easy to use.

Easy to get started and provides coverage I needed for the detached garages and pool.
