I would buy again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google easily has the best tech support in the industry. They were able to assist me with the full set up in one call and offered assist to how Google WiFi interacts with other products. Safe for families with children with website restrictions and schedules that turn off (or back on if you need) for specific devices. Works with century Link 1 gig fiber. We often get 600 down and 850 up.

Very Nice Router For My Retired Parents
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm impressed with this router's convenience in its setup process, ease of use and remote accessibility. I purchased and installed this router for my retired parents, who live several hours away. Setup was simple, and the router automatically maintains an optimal wireless connection with all connected devices. This is, of course, is important if you live in an area overlaid with numerous wireless networks. Security updates are automatically downloaded and installed, so I don't have to make any calls telling my parents to download some security/firmware and update via a router's web-based GUI. It's also nice to be able to check the router/internet connection and adjust any settings remotely via the Google Wifi app on my phone. Coverage using 1 unit is very solid across the entire ~1,500 sqft space it's being used in. Highly recommended all around!

Great system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this router with 3 of the Google extension units. Setup was easy via smartphone app. No problems. This is perfect for the novice or average user. Advanced tinkerers will probably not like the simple interface. I would not have bought this as a stand-alone as I feel there are better solo units out there. However, as a system where adding extenders is necessary, it can't be beat.

Perfect for many devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Google router in an effort to further reduce my bill from cable and Internet (I had been renting a router.) My research yielded the Google router and I have to say that I agree with all the reviews - it is amazing. I connect over 8 devices to it (I have 150 MB speed) and have no trouble streaming 4k to Netflix while on my computer, phone, etc. I definitely recommend it!

Very easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It looks and feels a little like an Apple product. Product packaging was very good. Very easy to set up. Reminds me of my Apple Airport Extreme ac Tower but more simple. I had an Asus 3200 wireless router which has significantly more features, and I am comfortable with changing a lot of the settings, but it just would not reach far enough in our very wide home. The 3 Google devices work much better, and I think we finally have full-home wifi coverage. Max speed doesn't seem to be quite as strong as the Asus which is understandable, but it is probably better overall considering we don't have to stand in a certain room to achieve the basic speed we expect. Only owned this about a month now, but I would recommend it over most of the other wifi systems I have used or researched. Good value for the money especially compared to the other competitors.

Great Buy, Easy Setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting up can't be any easier. This was a no brainier for me as my home is already Google wired (a google home, 4 home minis, a hub and a nest doorbell). The network signal strength from my router/modem was really low in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor of my home and I needed a cheap and fast ways to fix that. After doing my research and several reviews, I knew I had to go for this. One of the Wi-Fi points covers 1,500 sq. ft. so I knew buying the 3 combo will be an overkill. Easy setup, hook up with your modem, update the software, set a Wi-Fi name, boom, you're good to go One feature I like is the fact that it connects your device to the best band strength available wherever you are in the house i.e 2.5G or 5G ( you can't manually choose this). Overall great buy. I use Xfinity.

Finally good wifi speeds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was very reluctant getting a "Google" connected wireless router, but after researching numerous reviews and comparing it to the Netgear ORBI, im glad I went with it. Its a simple setup, basically download the app on your phone or table and it walks you through everything. I have fast speeds throughout the home, glad I got the 3 points vs a single, the 2 story 2600 sq ft house definatly needed it. For the advanced networking folks: Running Double NAT now with my Arris 6700AC cable modem (disabled wifi), but still attempting to turn off DHCP to run the modem as gateway and DHCP services solely on GoogleWifi. After numerous attempts, decided just to keep double NAT. Doesn't negatively impact Xbox Live gameplay or PC gameplay. And I still have super fast wifi that exceeds my cable speed limits. very happy.

Better Than Our Comcast Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got two of these to use with an Arris modem to replace our combination modem/router from Comcast. Set up with the Google Wifi app was easy and now we have mesh wifi throughout our house. Our house is small enough that we had good coverage with one wifi point but since we are now streaming all of our TV content, we got a second one to ensure that our living room had a strong enough signal for streaming. A nice feature is that when we are streaming we can prioritize our Roku or Chromecast so that the strongest signal gets sent to our streaming device rather than our phone or laptops. I also like the fact that I can set up guest wifi and guests can get on the wifi without having to enter our password. We don't have kids but the ability to shut down the wifi to to certain devices and times of day seems like it could be useful for those who do have kids and want to limit their online time.

Fantastic whole house WiFi!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used have issues within my home where some areas had WiFi dead zones. All my devices are now connected. I've gone through at least three different WiFi routers with differing performance and they seemed to be getting larger with more antennas and looked like spiders. I purchased the three unit Google WiFi and placed two downstairs and one upstairs. What differentiates this WiFi from other devices is that Google has excellent software that works and sends me emails on the performance. Set up was a breeze. My issue was that I have devices in my garage (Rachio smart wifi sprinkler control) and outside my home like the Nest Hello. In addition, sometimes my upstairs devices such as Apple TV and laptops would have major lags when everyone tried to watch Netlfix. The Google WiFi has solved all of this, and I'm glad that I made the purchase!

OMG...Awesome...Nothing but blazing speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been working with computers & networking equipment for over 20 years. I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up. And blazing fast. Whole house coverage (2000 square feet, single story) with no issues streaming video or internet content. Amazing.

Amazing Mesh Network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m one of those guys who buys a new router every year because I want the newest and very best. I’ve spent upwards of $300 per router each time, only to be let down time after time. My issue is I have a lot of space to cover in my home. When the Google mesh system came out I was reluctant to give it a shot because looking at the system physically you say to yourself “How can these little nodes possible cover all this space”. Boy, was I wrong, this system far exceeded my expectations and then some. Not only does this system cover my entire home of 3 floors but it produces about 80% of of my 1Gig internet service from my ISP wirelessly which is unheard of. I LOVE the companion app that gives me full control over the network. I can’t say enough good things about this system. I highly recommend it!

Great system once in is installed
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got two three packs for my rambling old house to replace three different routers I was using. The mesh network covers my whole house with a single network name automatically. No messing around with router settings. BEWARE: To install this system you need to have a cell phone connection which means you need to have a cell signal at your house. I do, but not everyone does. Ask about that if you don't. The system is controlled and settings are done from your phone... once set up it can use a wifi connection to do that, but the initial setup requires a phone connection (at least when I got it (late 2018). Never a problem since then. extends to my neighbor's house... he can use the guest network that is also available.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up. Used the 3 pack for 2000 sq ft house. Easy Set Up and Testing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall nice product. Only downside is there is only 1 port to hardwire on the main puck. This was not an issue for me as I have an airport express that I just set to bridge mode. Wired puck was in the basement and I tried to set up the one puck on the opposite side of the house on the second floor and it said I was too far from a wired connection. No a big deal, as I just put it in the room directly above were it resided in the basement and set the one of the first floor on the other side of the house as a triangle effectively. Good coverage of a 2,400 sq foot house and I am getting over 100mbps ( I pay for 100) evetywhere. So overall happy. Took about 30 min to set up all 3 pucks. I set the network and password the same as my previous one and all my devices connected without an issue.

Problem solved!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our WiFi enters our house in the basement, and we were getting horrible connectivity. The Best Buy guys recommended this and so glad I listened. So easy to set up & excellent speed & connection 2 floors up. Don’t hesitate. It works!!

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basically took a far more involved Netgear with matching extenders and whatnot, dumped it in a box and went for the Google WiFi. Certainly some trade-offs here and there; most notably the ability to stagger some devices to 2.4 versus 5.0 on the Netgear. However, for someone with "modest" technical skills and for a home, I am finding the Google equipment much more user friendly and even fun to use. My teenagers have a ton of devices connected and when it's late or whatever, I can just shut them all down. Kids don't love it, but nice and easy to do. I recommend this for the buyer with tech knowledge ranging from zero to mid-level and wants to create a solid layer of coverage to a home. I've got the three pack already set-up and will be buying another 2 or 3. Thanks... Jeff

Compatibility Warning!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.System covers well and is easy to setup. However, after a long time working with Google, it was discovered that this Google Wifi system is NOT COMPATIBLE with the Google Home or Google Home Mini! Google Wifi forces devices to auto-switch between 2.4GHz and 5GHz. According to Google, the Google Home and Google Home Mini CANNOT AUTO-SWITCH which makes them not work with Google's Wifi system! I couldn't believe it! Until Google comes up with a solution or some kind of update, be aware of this compatibility issue!

Should have bought this sooner!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It just works; plain and simple! I don't know what else I can say to be honest. After fighting with the Linksys Velop for over a year I decided to give Google WiFi a chance. The Velop system (in my opinion) is horrible. The system is constantly crashing and/or performing poorly where as Google WiFi performs flawlessly. For reference, I have the 400/40 internet package with my local cable company (Spectrum) and I receive close to 500Mbps hardwired or via wireless! All access points/nodes switch my devices to the closest unit, too if a stronger signal is detected whereas the Velop system will not (from my experience). Again, I can't say enough good things about this gadget. If you're looking to get full internet speeds via WiFi than this is your answer. Well worth the money in every way.
