I recently purchased a new Samsung 4k TV from Best Buy. Given my older WiFi setup I quickly found out my dead spots and weak signal locations in the house. The house is just under 4,000 square feet and has TV's on the two main floors (1st and 2nd story) plus the basement. I have a Directv Genie system and learned that unless I ran Ethernet cables between the receivers performance was severely compromised, and in some cases like the basement, the receiver was unable to link to the network. Enter the Google Wifi mesh, problem solved! The setup was supper easy and the phone app works as desired. I am just learning additional features such parental controls, all with the touch of an app on my iPhone.

Live in a larger home and used to have a Nighthawk 1750 from Costco and a range extender to over my main floor from front to back. My range extender failed and while hunting for a replacement I tried the whole Mesh Networking concept. The setup was extremely easy, the coverage complete. The speed incredible. I'm very very happy with this purchase.

Great wifi mesh network performance. Easy setup and features.

We live in the country. Our house is a single story but quite large and long. The router must be at the very end of the house. Our Google wifi has solved the problem of dead or slow spots completely! The set up was simple and took a couple of minutes. Now wifi reception equals our wired computer connections. Range extenders and plug ins goodbye!

this is a great router. just one unit gave me better signal and speed than a 300 pus asus. when adding second unit, I covered great speeds to my back yard/shed and second garage!! which are all far away from main unit. excellent.

I purchased Google WiFi because my house is fairly large and had trouble with a good signal even with an extender. Google WiFi took all of 15min to setup and I haven't looked back. I know have full strength on all 4 living floors. A great feature is the ability to turn off Wi-Fi to certain devices like my kids tablets during lunch or dinner.

Works great, easy setup n fast speed on wireless connections

I have a 4300 square foot home and our ASUS RT-N66R router was being stretched to its limit on range working poorly in farther reaches of the house. We installed a home camera system so I needed more range throughout. I researched online multiple routers and found the Google Wifi to be highly rated by everyone. I liked the idea of wireless access points in different parts of the house (called a mesh), versus wireless extenders. The Best Buy representative recommended this mesh system also. For the set of 3 Wifi points it was on sale for $249. Just install the Google Wifi app on your phone and it walks you through the set up process with ease. No need to worry about technical issues while installing as the app does it all for you. Extremely easy. We have Comcast Performance Plus Internet installed in the home. Prior to installing Google, I could get 100 MBS in rooms closest to the router with decreasing to no signal the farther away you moved from the router. With Google Wifi, and the app will display the network speeds for you, I have received up to 300 MBS next to the router with the lowest speed being 70 MBS several rooms away in the garage. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Owned it for about 4 months now, with 3 PS4s, 2 computers and multiple phones on the same network, I haven't had any of the issues I used to suffer from. Easy set up and simple to use through the app. There may be better and more feature rich systems out there but at much higher price points. It was a great purchase at the discounted price.

These are really great and a breeze to set up. We've got a mixture of iPhones, iPads, computers, and other online media players. All connected easily and have blazing fast speed. The google wireless app makes initial install super simple. The best part is I've got coverage on both levels of my house and all of my devices get a full signal wherever they are. The additional feature of using these for wifi signal or plugging straight into the Ethernet is also a great feature and allows for connectivity of devices you might have had to run a hard line connection to before. I can't say enough good about this product.

Best router I've owned. Used to mess with router configurations all the time, now I just set and forget. Setup through google is easy. Great speed and coverage. highly recommended.

I moved into a new home recently, and have had issues with dead spots in the past. I found this new net technology, and jumped right in to it. I do not have a single dead spot, even outside the house. Setup was different than anything I had done in the past, but yet very simple following the setup instructions. I downloaded the app first, and followed the prompts. That simple. The BONUS I referred to is that, as I mentioned, I moved into a new place, and have had to move or disconnect the satellites a few times, and I still had connection via the other two devices! Very Cool! It's been a month now, and not a single issue with connection to this device. Wish I could say the same about the internet company signal, but that's another review. Would strongly suggest this device.

Reliable, good coverage for large 3 level home. Easy set up

This mesh wifi system was so easy to set up. And the design actually looks good in my house. Performance is great, too. Really great coverage from end-to-end of my 5,000 sqft home.

Fills Property with WiFi. Make slow computers work faster!

I was a bit sceptical at first since I had tried already unsuccessfully with 3 different routers and 2 different WiFi extenders to fix the spotty and unsatifactory coverage in our 2400 sqft house. We have a problem situation since there is no good central location for our modem & router, we have very long hallways and in addition there is a wall with lots of pipes and ducting between the living room and router location. No solution worked after many frustrating efforts, so I was willing to try this as a last ditch effort. And it did the trick - now all rooms are covered with the 3 point mesh network! The initial setup is straight forward and worked well, however it took some effort to get 2 wireless printers added back in and recognized. But it all works now, and quite well!

In my case I live in a two stories home and just one wasn’t enough I recommend the 3 pack, even though the price is very steep for stronger WiFi but it makes my WiFi faster and a stable non glitchy WiFi

This was one of the best purchases I made. I used the Google Wifi system to replace my current cable company-provided see router. Or rather, to replace its wifi functionality, which had problems reaching the edges of my home. (I have a home office, so signal strength is crucial.) Setup was super easy: 1. Download the Google Wifi app 2. Shut off my cable company's wifi functions on the router (I wanted to use the same network name and password so all my devices could still connect without my touching them.) 3. Go through the app to set up the wifi points. I have 3 of these at home, and thanks to it, I have strong, fast signal everywhere. It's also easy to set up mesh networks and to watch traffic when needed. Excellent product. Highly recommended.

I started having connectivity issues at home. At the time I had a 2TB Apple Airport Time Capsule. I tested my system and had readings coming out around 20Mbps! I called Comcast and they tested everything on their end and all signals were good. We set up an appointment for a tech, but I was told that if it was home network gear that was the problem I would be charged. I decided to go Best Buy and ended up buying this Google system. Set up was an ease with the app. I was done setting up all three points in about 15-20 minutes. I cancelled the appointment with Comcast. Now I have no dead/slow zones in the house (3 levels). Using the Ookla Speedtest app, at the moment I am writing this I am getting 104 Mbps and that is with two TVs streaming Netflix and YouTube!
