Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent coverage, and straightforward setup of the Google Wifi AC1200 system. Many also praise the improved signal strength and extended range, resulting in better overall performance. While some users experienced connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. A few customers noted the system's higher price point.

I already had the 3 pk but added another unit to stretch farther across my acreage. Setup is simple and coverage is great. No more unplugging router to get Wi-Fi back. I like the info provided on the app also.

The Google Wifi mesh network was super easy to set up. All of the steps are clearly and easily laid out and explains what you need to do in order to set everything up. I think it took 5 minutes total to set up all three mesh routers. These routers have been excellent so far. Each router has two LAN ports, so you are able to have a wired connection if needed (we have our Playstation and home computer hooked up to one of the three routers). Have not noticed any slow down in speeds at any location in the house, whether it be upstairs, in the living room, or even in the basement. For sure would recommend this product for anyone looking to install a mesh network to cover the entirety of their house.

Google AC1200 WiFi was the answer to our WiFi problem. We now have whole house coverage with blazing speed. No more dead areas in the lower level and with 4K speed everywhere. Easy to install and the APP is great.

After trying tons of wireless routers (all the new AC stuff when it came out), I had to actually settle on an Apple Airport Extreme, because it was the only one that would handle all of my wireless video cameras (Dlink and Nest) without crashing/restarting every day. This was a bitter pill to swallow since I typically don't like Apple products, but it did what it had to do. Fast forward a few years and it died! So I decided it was finally time to try some mesh networking especially since there were now more and more products out there and I figured they would provide better coverage in a 3 story space. The different Points were easy to set up and each has ethernet jacks so you can connect a switch to add more devices (I'm doing this downstairs in the office). Note - I knew this going in, but Google doesn't currently allow you to change the IP address range, so it's stuck at 192.168.86.x. Not sure why they don't let you change it (yet?) but it wasn't a big deal to re-IP things since it was a one-time deal. So far, everything's been up and running just fine and I actually love the app since I can get connection info, device info, dim/turn off the lights, etc.

Our Comcast wifi was being so slow and we got tired of paying for their not so great router/modem. We purchased this along with a good Arris modem and speeds went from upload of less than 15 to speeds of 90+ mbps. We also have a ton of devices on it and it works like a champ. Set up was pretty easy, if you're techy. Did have to call google support for one thing, but they were very helpful and resolved my problem quickly. I also love being able to control everything on the app and see everyone's usage. I recently left my parent's house where the google wifi is hooked up and moved back to my college apartment and I'm always wishing I had this set up again. A little pricey, but honestly worth every penny! Overall an awesome product!

I have installed many wifi routers in my home over the years and this by far was the easiest to set up. I was up and running in 15 minutes. Google has made it so easy even those with no experience can set up their own wifi network. The connection is strong and fast all through the house and even out on the patio and in the backyard.

This Google router works very very well. I have three floors and one router wasn't reaching all the floors so if you put a node on each floor the router works perfectly. I have no problems with it... it's working great. I play games on two systems at the same time. No issues whatsoever, you should enjoy it. The signals are strong.

We live in a large 4 bedroom house. The living room and kitchen area separates the master bedroom from the other 3 bedrooms. Our internet installer recommended we get this product to extend out Wifi. It works great! Main is set up in back office. 2nd one set up in the last room down that hall. The 3rd is set up in living room. The mesh units can’t be too far from each other in order to connect. It provides Stable WiFi through the whole house. We have yet to have a problem with it and the set up was super simple. You have to download app to set up and use. You can prioritize WiFi spots And devices if needed and check everything on app. I love it!

Visually, its a very compact, stylish unit. It only took a few minutes to get it set up and working...serial numbers are printed on the top...convenient. The setup is done through a mobile app...the first time I have used one...it works slick. It connected to my pc and other devices quickly. I only bought the single unit, as the distances I need coverage for are not great. I located it in the hall in a device closet, midway in the house. Good signal strength...5 bars on Netflix. I like being able to view system info from my phone...changing settings and passwords is also a snap. I recommend this for single unit applications like mine, or up to the 3 unit max that can be linked for very large homes or multi story. Google hit the mark with this one.

I own a 2-story house with a basement. At first, I was considering getting the 3-pack because I didn't think 1 unit would be enough. What a pleasant surprise when I saw that a single router was able to cover my whole house! I couldn't believe it. It was literally plug and play, no need to mess around with settings if you have no specific need to. I got this one to replace a fancy Netgear router that was working just OK but I was unable to connect a new Wemo smart plug to my network. No problem at all with this Google router, everything just works. This is definitely the best router I have ever owned. I also like the Google WiFi app. It is very well designed and user friendly.

I purchased Google Wifi on the recommendation of a home theater installer. I have a large Victorian house and I was having trouble connecting to the Wifi in some parts of the house. This system was easy to install (it took me about 30 minutes) and it has fixed the problem. Wifi now works throughout the house on all three floors.

Super easy to setup. Gave us full coverage around the apartment. 3 is probably an overkill for the space, but our previous router wouldn't always reach the bedroom consistently. Speed is also really nice.
