Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent coverage, and straightforward setup of the Google Wifi AC1200 system. Many also praise the improved signal strength and extended range, resulting in better overall performance. I'm not a fan of Google. Their software UX is not very good and the UI is cartoonish at best. However, this product is awesome, it was well designed and the quality and ease of setup is basically that level of what Apple produces. If you want to get in and mess with the settings and low level work on a router, then this is NOT for you. But I'm in IT and a tinker, but I'm tired of messing with my house WiFi and this product meets the needs. performance is amazing at all points in my house. It's not a big house two floors ~3900 square feet. And I divided it into 3rds and get amazing performance at all locations.

Incredibly easy set up and the best Wifi product we've utilized. Fantastic range extending to my patio and throughout the house. Love the ability to monitor what's connected from the app.

This truly unleashed the full potential of my internet speed and the capability of my internet service. I live in a 2 br apartment and one was perfect. I can’t really say how it makes it so much better cause it doesn’t even tell you it just does what it has to do all you need is a smartphone.

Incredibly easy to set up, plug and play download speed increased by a factor of six! Had Roku box a long way from wifi router and Roku would often be unresponsive requiring re-boot, not any more one of the extenders sits in the room with Roku box and now everything is working like a charm

This item was absolutely perfect for my home. We purchased several extenders to get WiFi through the house, with no luck. The google WiFi ac1200 Dual Band Whole Home WiFi 3- pack did the trick! Easy set up and the whole 2 level house has WiFi. Even extends outside in the yard with no lag.

I was very interested in this concept of home network coverage with multiple routers which seems to be working perfectly. Set up was extremely easy although during set up it was telling me that one of the routers which comes with three by the way wasn’t able to access the network but on completion of set up everything was fine. CNET actually gave this a very high rating compared to some of the others specifically because of price point which was 249 for this compared with 399 for the Orbi or the Linksys alternatives. Excellent choice if you need to cover a large area with the network coverage.

I installed the Google WIFI to improve WIFI reception in all areas of my house, basement to garage and all points in between. Set-up was VERY easy and didn't take long at all. Google made it just about as simple as could be. The results are fantastic and met or exceeded my expectations.

No more confusing numbers you usually had to deal with when using other routers. The google WiFi router is awesome! No more having to search for my up address either to log in to change settings. I can just use the app to do these things. The app even has a speed check. Recommend!

I replaced a Linksys EA6900 & Linksys range extender with this. The reliability of the WiFi has been improved greatly. Now it doesn’t always seem to be a quick all the time. Also had to add Ethernet hub or switch if multiple wired devices are required. I wouldn’t trust the high side of advertised coverage Sq ft. It would require 0 obstructions between the devices. But I put the 3 pack in our single story 1300 sq ft house, and we have coverage everywhere inside and out. Very happy with this device. Ping on PlayStation 4 is up just a bit when hard wired or Wifi not sure what’s the issue but it’s not enough to affect game play.

I live in an older two story house on a basement (2200 sq. ft.). The internet comes into the basement and is the best place for the cable modem, etc. I've tried a couple of different Cisco and Netgear routers but would always find dead spots. I had been reading about Google Wifi and it made sense. I didn't know how many units I would need to provide coverage so I started with one. I did get good performance in the basement and 1st floor but 2nd floor was spotty. I added another one on the 1st floor and now have coverage throughout the house and well into the yard/deck. Set up is easy and the app has useful features. Very satisfied!

Best Wifi and wifi extender at its best. Easy to setup and very user friendly. I love how you walk to a new room and it auto connects to the reciever you setup in that location. Never have to connect to it on my phone. I finally have wifi in every location at my house. Over 3000+ sq ft.

I can now get wifi reception in rooms that I could not before. The signal is strong and steady. The back room TV always had a fuzzy look. It is now is crystal clear. I can now get Netflix which I could not get before. The signal always kept going out on me. Great and constant reception.

This was relatively easy to set up. Though we did have several issues over the first few days, but nothing more than we expected. We did have to call Google once, but they are very nice and easy to work with. Family settings are great for when you don’t want the kiddos playing online.

I’ve been using my AT&T provided box for wifi in our 2600 sq ft 2 story home which is located upstairs in order to provide a umbrella effect for wireless coverage but have dead spots on the front and back porch and latency issues downstairs. Once I set up the 3 Google wifi points, one by Ethernet cable to the AT&T box and the other to downstairs, one in the front area and one in the back area of our home I’ve had zero issues with wifi connectivity throughout the house and outside. Very easy to setup and easy to reconfigure your subnet mask and IP address range which helps increase the speed.

We have a two story house with a basement (where the router is). To extend the coverage I tried range extenders with varying degrees of success and still had problems when moving within the house. A review of the Google Mesh popped up on my phone just about the time I was REALLY getting perturbed. The gist of the review was that it was 1) the most bang for the buck, and 2) it was the easiest to setup. Ordered it as soon as I finished the review. It REALLY is easy to setup. Took about 15 minutes to setup all three units including the time to update the software. Speed on ALL our wireless devices is excellent.

I wanted to update my Apple Airport router since Apple is officially exiting the wireless router business. I did a lot of research and decide a MESH network (is a group of devices (Nodes) that act as a single Wi-Fi network; so there are multiple sources of Wi-Fi around your house, instead of just a single router) would be best to cover my 3-story home. I decided on the Google Wi-Fi (Mesh) system for its excellent reviews and ease of setup. Google has it right: great packaging, simple and easy to install and works well with my Mac products. Very reminiscent of Apple products. The Google MESH system has completely changed our Wi-Fi experience in the house! I have not stopped raving about this system since I installed it. The guest Wi-Fi has been wonderful. So it has the ability to use the app features to analyze network speed and activity, pause the Wi-Fi and many more things I could praise. He Fam could not be more pleased with having seamless full-speed network activity anywhere in the house or on our property. Get it if you are on the fence.

I set this system up for a friend in Chicago who often works from home. Her router was not sufficient to give her the coverage she needed / wanted. After describing the house layout, your technician suggested this system. It works exactly as advertised and she's very happy with it.

Just a great product. Easy, even for this electronically challenged person. We just got Google fiber in our neighborhood and was provided one pick, which did cover the house pretty well (2500 sq ft). But it was upstairs and the most I could get downstairs was about 150 mbps. Hadn't experienced any lag yet but I wanted to boost the signal. I put these 3 all over the downstairs, I even have one directly connected to the smart TV so I never have to worry about connection while streaming. Now I get anywhere between 200-700 mbps depending on device. The wired desktop gets over 900 mbps. Google isn't messing around.
