My problem with this product was that I have numerous Internet devices e.g. cameras, Sonos sound system and other smart devices. Mesh does not have a WPS system for identifying older Internet devices. So, you often have to connect those devises to a Mesh pod via Ethernet cable for it to identify with it. Very time consuming and there are often glitches that have to be worked out which after several hours, I finally accomplished. All worked well for a week or so. Then, we incurred a momentary power outage in our general area. Thus began 12 hours of work with the Google techs to try to resolve reconnect issues which finally got the best of my patience and I said enough! I just gave up. I disconnected the Google Wifi Mesh system and returned it to Best Buy with a letter from the Google tech explaining reason for return. The techs were very good at trying to help,very patient and friendly and willing to help. I also had no problem with the return by Best Buy. The product was just not right for my eclectic combination of internet devices. For simple set ups, I think this product would work fine. I would recommend this product to a friend with simple Internet needs although I checked the "no" box below overall.

This was the perfect replacement for a really expensive wireless router that still had lag time for gaming and streaming. NO lag time at all with this system, no matter how many devices are on wifi at once. Half the price of the router it replaced.

I have a 3200 square foot house and kept losing signal with my old router and extender. Google wifi has been my answer as I now have coverage in all places in my house. I do not game, but for movies, surfing the internet, and listening to music, this investment was well worth it.

I have been using these mesh routers for a while now and they work really well. They are not perfect and they do lose between the walls, but it's much better than having a 500 dollar router in the living room and barely any connection in other rooms.

We had been experiencing intermittent failures and weak signals with our WiFi system in remote areas of the house. The devices we has for amplifying the signal in remote locations were several years old. We thought maybe the technology has improved. It sure did!

The sole reason why I upgraded from airplay to thiS product is because I have an ecobee thermostat and I’m turning my home into a smart home the ecobee thermostat works on a solid 2.4 GHz not a 5 GHz like airplay devices do. As of now it works fantastic

Exceptionally easy to setup and use this product! Add-on capability is also a positive. The Google Wifi app lets you see what’s connected, run a speed test, quickly troubleshoot, set up a guest network and more. The Family-friendly controls work nicely too.

I have 3 teenagers with multiple devices in my home and this has kept all of them online with no issues.

The system was easy to set up and network was on in no time. Streaming service works much better and devices are picking up a great signal throughout the house. Download and upload speeds are reaching Max for my subscription; 100Mbs. I’m impressed.

We struggled with our wifi signal on all floors, especially in the basement. Unsuccessfully tried a plug-in booster. Constantly had to reboot router & modem. Since purchasing Google wifi we have not had ANY issues - strong signal throughout the house!

Before this addition, streaming TV was a bit of a hassle with the dreaded blue load sign popping in and out. And I got 200/200 mbps!! Those days are gone, and I am now going smart home with lights, thermostat, TV and have the wi-fi power to do it!!!

I got them as a gift for my in-laws. Easy set up by people over 60 and no complaints.

I have a small home but i could not get reliable wifi in a couple of rooms. Mesh network did the trick.

I previously had a DLink router, but I often had to reset it and avoid certain areas of my home when I needed Wi-Fi. Now I never need to mess with it, and have a strong signal anywhere in the house. Setup is very easy, just use the Google Wi-Fi app.

I currently subscribe to Spectrum and to no surprise their router was awful. After switching to G-Wifi, I have yet to have a drop in wifi coverage in my house. There are no dead spots in my house and it even covers the backyard. I would highly recommend this to anybody.

Love having these in my apartment. Working from home has become easier. I can now move from different areas of the apartment without worrying about reception. I can have smart tv on, wifi calls and laptop going all at easy.

Works better then most of the other routers. You'll get the most out of your wifi using these.

This was easy to install and get working. I greatly expanded my parents WiFi range which has never been great. During testing I was able to achieve the same internet speeds at the furtherest point and closest point to the home pod. Great so far!
