Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent coverage, and straightforward setup of the Google Wifi AC1200 system. Many also praise the improved signal strength and extended range, resulting in better overall performance. While some users experienced connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. A few customers noted the system's higher price point.

Covers a wide area. Perfect for multiple rooms. Covers an apartment or small house very well. Had issues with connectivity before getting this and since I got it I haven't had connectivity issues no matter where I'm at in my residence.

After many evenings of being irritated by our previous wireless router and extender, we did some research and decided to purchase the google product. We have been extremely happy with the product thus far and even get a good wifi signal on our deck. Thx Google!

Don’t waste time and money buying range extenders. This device keep a single network in the whole house and you don’t need to switch metworks. Download and upload speeds are the same in the whole house and keeps my provider speed at max.

This solved my Internet problems at my 4200 sq ft house. It's a very odd shape (2 2-floor sections connected by a hallway on the first floor) and FiOS came in at one corner of the house. I had to buy one extra to get total coverage, but it was totally worth it!

Let’s start with the positive. It’s an affordable mesh system, and the features are good. Each AP or ‘puck’ allows you to direct connect 1 Ethernet connected device or network switch (Major plus). Wi-Fi signal is SOLID, nothing on my network buffered. All videos on YouTube loaded immediately. I’m a cord-cutter and all mediums streamed flawlessly (Directv Now, HULU, Netflix, etc.) Here is my issue(s). I have Google Fiber and pay for Gigabit speeds. When I was in the room with the main Router my wireless speeds were ~200 dn and 100 up. However, when devices were connected to one of the APs speeds varied tremendously. At best they were 100-150 dn and 60-80 up. I called google and after an hour of trouble shooting, switching from their DNS (8.8.8.8) to the default DNS (192.168.x.x) speeds increased slightly but reliability dipped. After another hour on the phone with Google they FINALLY CONFESSED. Their system has device speed throttling. Meaning if the network detects the device doesn’t need “all of the speed” it will give it what it think it needs. WHAT??? Yeah,no! To top it off the seed is 1/4 of that when connected to any other AP other than the main router. Complete trash....

I bought this as a gift to my in-laws. They have a house in a rural midwest state with satellite internet and the router they used before was junk. I bought two of these to put in their house and they made a huge difference.

I was having a hard time getting the wifi signal throughout my home until I purchased this setup. It works much better now and I rarely lose connection unless I get too many devices on at the same time. This is mainly due to the limitations of Comcast.

I have a 2800 sq ft home and we have “zero” dead spots. Our internet sucked before we invested in google Wifi system. We have about 15 devices hooked up and they all work great. Plus I can set time restriction for the kids on there iPads!

I was very reluctant to purchase a whole home wifi system as I had purchased other things that were suppose to do the same and they did not work ,but it does now the wifi reaches the basement area where the kids hang out watch tv play games etc. Yay.

We have a large tri-level house and wasn't getting real good wireless coverage on the upper level since our cable enters in the lowest level. Placed a device on every level and we have great coverage across all the house nice. Easy set-up.

These helped me get better connectivity to my patio and outer areas of my house. They were an impulse purchase so not sure if I could have gotten something comparable or better for a better price. Geek Squad was at my house and charged me an additional $50 to set these up in my home, which barely took any time. They quoted me the charge after the fact, so for that reason I was not entirely satisfied.

For my he first time, I find a ultimate solution for dead spots. My house is built in a traditional way (concrete), and dead spots were always my issue. Bought extenders, new routers, etc. Dead spots still there. And then bought this solution. Dead spots DEAD!
