After installing wireless networks for 14 years I can easily say that the mesh router systems are the best routers for home. The Google version is the most economical and the app is both useful and fun to use. If you are adding to a Comcast network set their gateway to bridge mode.

had this a few weeks now. very easy set up. all the router points are small and non invasive, which helps them blend in the background of the rooms. app is simple, user friendly, and incredibly helpful. We decided to purchase because the tech for our ISP suggested a different router to address our connection issue. the one sent by the company was causing many of their customers connection issues. I saw at least 15 customers in the service center trading in their boxes, just like me. that didn't work, and tech that came to our home couldn't fix it either. after several hours on site, he said "the only thing I can think of at this point is to suggest you purchase a different router because our equipment appears faulty." decided to go with google wifi since we enjoy the google home & chromecast devices. works perfectly! we tested one router, to be sure it would work with all our smart devices (15+). very happy when we upgraded to 3 mesh points. only one issue thus far, the mesh point is causing hiccups with blossom (smart home sprinkler system). all other smart home devices work perfectly though .

I've had this for a long time and I'm really happy with it. It doesn't skip a beat. Bought this in place of the standard Linksys router....so much better (and has lasted much longer). The best part is I have an app that can access the router from anywhere. So, you guessed it....if my son gets in trouble at school, I have control over everything at the touch of my hands. The nice part is I can freeze his access only, without affecting anyone else using it. Very happy with it, I've recommended it to others who have been happy with it, and would buy again.

Have a wide 2 story house, already had the 3pack, but decided I wanted to extend my wireless to my basement. Took 30s to add this single unit to my existing 3 puck Google WiFi network. This new puck automatically applied updates and added itself to my network, completely hands off. I now have 60mbps in the basement where i previously had less than 5. Also, when plugged in to the new unit via Ethernet (2 ports available), I get 71mbps (yes, faster than the wireless speed) so now I can connect my dvr and smart tv via Ethernet. Compared to week and lumi, much better value given the cheaper cost of adding on units. Highly recommended.

I bought this for a friend who was in need of a “simple” wifi router. This was recommended to me by a customer service rep at our local store and my friend could not be more satisfied with the router. Also, it was very easy to set up and integrate with his tv and ipad and iphone.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Google Wifi is a mesh network that you can connect to your home router/network. It provides great Wifi throughout our apartment. The nodes also have ethernet ports which come in handy for devices like TVs that work better with a hard wire.

I bought this product in hopes it would fix my WiFi problem. It did. Every few years or so, I end up buying a new router, as the previous one no longer reaches the corners of my house. This google WiFi system gives me 3 bars everywhere, and the setup was so easy. Great product.

We have had issues with WiFi coverage since moving into our home in 2015. It’s 3 floors and about 2100 sq ft. After installing this system, we have consistent WiFi on all floors at once. We can stream HD and 4K on the third floor that never had signal with a router only option.

I have Gigabit internet at home, and I'm getting 711 Mbps download with Google Wi-Fi vs. 60ish with my year old TP-Link Archer C7. I'm a huge Apple fan boy, but I have to give props as this is the first Google product I've ever bought. Super easy to setup and manage.

Was amazed at how easy it was to set up the Google mesh net. It does a great job expanding wifi throughout our home, including the front porch. It probably isn't the cheapest setup out there, but if you don't want to deal with involved installations this is the route to take.

I love the ease of setup. The only thing I had to refer to on youtube was how to disable wireless functionality on my Verizon fios modem and router. Rest of the setup was a breeze. I wish I had not spend all that money on wireless extenders and gone directly to Google wifi.

I work in IT and have enterprise grade networking equipment in my house. I am moving and needed to dismantle that equipment in order to move. I needed something reliable to serve as my network infrastructure during the moving process. This works really well. I'll be able to install this in my new house as a stop gap until I can set up my other equipment. Easy to use app with a decent amount of features. I'll be happy to pass this along to my sister for her family when I'm done with them. She'll enjoy being able to limit her kids' usage, etc. Solid product by Google.

My Wifi signal was so poor I couldn’t get a signal at the back of my house and it’s not a big house. The google WiFi was very easy to set up and now I can get WiFi all around my house, even way out in my yard! If this sounds like your issue, just get this. It really works!!

I used to have two different routers for two locations at my house since its a big area and it was a pain. I started to read up about the new mesh technology and was interested. I saw the Google Wifi on sale at best buy so I figured I buy and try it out. It was so easy to setup, it took longer to take out of the box. I set up the three points in different locations of the house and was amazed at the coverage. I did notice just a small lag when the wifi would need to hop to the closest point but wasn't a big deal. I'm very satisfied with it and will probably buy 2 more points to expand the area.

Gives even a decent sized home excellent wifi coverage in every room. It also allows for wired hookups in the rooms where you put the Wifi devices. A room where I wanted to put a wired device, I can now hook into the Google Wifi without needing some other type of adapter.

Living in a 3000+ square foot house can push the limits of your router, Google WiFi is an easy solution. Setup is done with easy to follow instructions and app integration. The app has you maximize your WiFi coverage, allows to find out what speeds you are achieving, prioritize certain devices, cutoff devices, guest access, and the list features continue. Having access to my home WiFi no matter where I am is a great feature as well. I can easily stream 4k, my son can game online on his Xbox, and multiple phones and tablets run easily thanks to the zone configuration. I highly recommend the Google WiFi setup.

Very happy with this router system thus far. Speed increased and reliability did as well. Reaches to every corner of my 4000 sq ft home with 3 units one on each floor.

We purchased this item in 2018, and I waited a while to review just to make sure there weren't any hiccups. After 1.5yrs of consistent use in two different homes I can honestly say this has been a flawless mesh system. We have numerous smart tv's, computers, phones, gaming systems etc. all running at the same time (sometimes) in our house-we never experience a lag or skip! The App to control/manage the wifi system is excellent as well! If you are on the fence, go ahead and pull the trigger on this set, you will not be disappointed!

The Google WiFi mesh was as easy to set up as advertised, taking around 15 minutes for me to set up the main port and 2 satellite ports. It works EXTREMELY well in our home, boosting signal and speed throughout. The only disadvantage is that the software doesn't enable your smartphone to set up a different Google WiFi mesh network in a different location, so I had to purchase another product to set up a second network. That other product's mesh took 2 hours to set up, requiring extensive tech support to get it to work properly. But the Google WiFi was EASY to set up and it works great!

Quick setup. You take out the first one, scan the barcode on the bottom and setup. If you hardwire the additional 2, setup the 2nd one wireless first and then plug in the Ethernet once it's setup. The app is great, you can prioritize devices, setup family controls, etc.
