I wasn't sure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I'm a big google products fan but I really shy'd away from this product initially. I use this now in a commercial space with dozens of users. We have 3 sets of three and it works AMAZINGLY and was unbelievably easy to set-up. I would highly recommend.

Impressive performance! First mesh system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My family had been complaining about our WiFi for some time and I started looking at options to replace several aging Access Points I had in different parts of the house to give coverage. My plan was to get new Access Points so I initially purchased a Linksys - MAX-STREAM™ AC1900 Dual Band Repeater with MU-MIMO for the upstairs and a Linksys - RE9000 AC3000 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Range Extender as the main access point on my main level. I could never get a consistent signal and stable connection so I returned them both and then tried a NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band Gigabit Mesh Capable Wi-Fi Range Extender. This worked a bit better, but I still was not getting a stable signal and it seemed to drop in and out. For whatever reason (middle-aged man, reluctant to change, I guess...) I had put off trying a Mesh Network in spite of the strong advice of several Best Buy employees, and that voice of reason in the back if my head that was saying to try it. Doing some research and reading LOTS of reviews, I decided to try the Google system since it was priced a bit lower than some of the other systems and it had great reviews. I also wanted to get a system that allowed Ethernet Back-haul as I have my entire home wired with RJ45 jacks in every room. Given the size of my home and the amount of WiFi-signal-blocking stuff in the walls, I need a system that can be hardwired at each node. My main hub is in the basement in the "IT Room" where all of my networking gear home-runs. I have the 2nd in my kitchen and the third upstairs in the MBR. Setup was pretty simple. Just download the app and follow the instructions. I had one node that didn't take on the first try but I did a reset and reinstalled it and it was just fine after that. The hardwired connection was recognized and the app confirmed an excellent connection at each location. Using my Speedtest app, I am getting 75 to 110mbps download speeds from my 100mb Spectrum service. So far I have been very pleased and a bit mad at myself for waiting so long to switch from access points and WiFi extenders to a mesh network! I now have just 1 SSID for the entire home instead of the 8 that I had before! I will keep an eye on the performance but so far everything is working well. I've even gotten positive comments from my family about the noticeable improvement in stability and quality.

I got 99 problems, Wifi isn't one of them
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Mesh product to own. My youngest was losing a signal in her bedroom when watching Netflix, and I went this route over a traditional router. I am extremely pleased. I get amazing wifi signals throughout my house, a great app to monitor devices connected to my network, and everything I had hard wired with Cat6 is still there. Speeds are more than enough to game and watch 4k video. I have perfect signal strength in every room of my home and yard. It is secure and safe and I'm considering adding this to my home in the city as well.

Blanket of WiFi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google WiFi is incredibly easy to use. Connect the first base station to your modem using the supplied Ethernet cable. Download the google WiFi app, and minutes later you’re setup and online. Adding additional stations is easy, and all done through the app.

Easy to set up and strong WiFi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the perfect product for a 3 story townhome with the cable modem on the third floor. I previously had dead spots in my own home. It took me about 15 minutes to set up three units. Their app makes it very simple to set up. No WiFi knowledge needed.

I would give this 10 stars if I could!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a two story so we've been using other manufacturer 'extenders'. While just OK, they would drop connection or have really weak connections. We began looking for another solution for our home office needs and started exploring "mesh" systems. Needless to say we went with Google. We purchased the 3 pack. Set up was very simple and straight forward. We spent more time switching over our Network devices to connect with the Google WiFi. We now have a strong, secure system that handles our 300+ system and provides internet access throughout our whole house. Great system!

Easy insall - wonderful performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Google WiFi due to poor abilities of my previous one. Install was so easy, I had my 8th grader install it for me! Now I have reliable wifi in my bedroom and basement! No easy task normally but with this Google Wifi setup it was a breeze...

Great Product, Easy Setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never thought I would care about a router or set of routers more than it providing me wifi, but this has changed my mind. Not only was a customized network setup with SSID and password simple, but configuring the multiple nodes, running speed tests, and finding out information about my network immediately after being set up was a cinch. It's low profile and looks good, and does a good job providing coverage with 3 nodes over a 2700 sq foot house across 4 floors. Google knocked it out of the park with these, and I'm super happy with this product.

Really nice product !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it so I can help out my cheap with signal which I would sometimes lose signal here and there. Now I don't lose signal and Google WiFi is pretty nice. I love the app because it makes it so much easier and setting the device up was not hard at all.

Effective inHome WiFi solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ISP's WiFi router couldn't cover all the rooms of the 1500sqft house, and I needed a fast reliable connection for the home automation system. This Google product did the job perfectly by relaying the signal throughout the house with minimal effort

Great improvement from just a basic router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Spectrum Internet and had been using their WiFi router on a two story 2500 sq ft home. Downstairs my connection speed was quite low. I've been looking into mesh WiFi for a while now and it came down to Google Mesh and Netgear Orbi, I finally went with the Google due to it's lower price and ease of use. I replaced my Spectrum router with the Google WiFi Mesh and saw a vast improvement right away and have no regrets. The only thing that I do not like about the Google Mesh is that you cannot hid your SID (Network Name) name at this time, but as long as you change the default passwords and such that should not be a big issue. This is a great product and would purchase again and can confidently recommend.
