I have Spectrum Internet and had been using their WiFi router on a two story 2500 sq ft home. Downstairs my connection speed was quite low. I've been looking into mesh WiFi for a while now and it came down to Google Mesh and Netgear Orbi, I finally went with the Google due to it's lower price and ease of use. I replaced my Spectrum router with the Google WiFi Mesh and saw a vast improvement right away and have no regrets. The only thing that I do not like about the Google Mesh is that you cannot hid your SID (Network Name) name at this time, but as long as you change the default passwords and such that should not be a big issue. This is a great product and would purchase again and can confidently recommend.

Purchased when TWC moved me to Spectrum plan, and started charging to use our 2-in-1 Modem Router as a router... go figure! This was incredibly easy to setup, plug the modem into the router, plug into power, download the Google Wifi App on your iOS or Android Device, Scan the QR code on the bottom of the router, enter the data you want for your SSID and your Password, and you're good to go! Still have yet to pick up another router and try the Mesh system as the single router gives full strength coverage all over the house!

Great product. Does exactly what it says. We always had problems with our WiFi but this honestly helped improve the range of the WiFi signal. We get about 320 mbps in each room (4rooms) with the google WiFi. Without we only got barely half of that.

Easy to install home wi-for system. Offers coverage throughout the house. Meets household needs.

I read reviews from others who said this continuously losses connectivity. So far I've had no problems with it and it gives me a nice strong signal. It was easy to setup using the Google app. So if you want to expand your wifi network without using a range extender this is a good choice.

I held off on mesh for a long time. I’m not sure why - I’m usually an early adopter for anything technology. So a couple of weeks ago my fabulous nighthawk router stopped working and I had to look for a new solution. I walked into a Best Buy store intending to buy a cheap router and half an hour later walked out with this instead. I have not regretted it one bit. Setup was a breeze, no more dead spaces in my house. Everything (and I have a about 60 devices ) just connected fine and has stayed connected ever since. And the rest is history.,

Google's Google WiFi is an EXCELLENT home wifi system. It was easy to set up and it is easy to maintain. Each unit only gives you two Gigabit Ethernet ports per Wifi point. You need one of those to plug into your modem on the base unit. If you need more than one or two ethernet connections just plug in a switch for as many additional ports as you need. Just ran a couple of speed tests and I'm now getting 160 mps download and 6 mps upload speeds over wifi. Set is a snap with the app and the wifi coverage throughout our home and patio is excellent.

I was searching for a WiFi system with full home coverage that was also east to setup and manage and Google WiFi really fit the bill. The Google WiFi system was extremely easy to set up. The application walks you through the process step by step. Once set up, you are able to easily monitor your connection speed as well as the devices attached to your network. It is also simple to make changes to your network through the app. It improved the range and quality of my WiFi connection compared the the router / modem that I was previously using.

Our house is 3650 square feet with two stories. The coverage is excellent throughout the house with one unit serving as modem in the garage, another in the hallway on the first floor and the third in an uprstairs bedroom - signal strong evreywhere.

So I've now purchased 5 of these in total. I'm a tech consultant and have started using these for my installs. Love the ease of setup and use! They are compact and almost disappear into the room. I love the consistent super fast wifi speeds as well.

I mulled over possibilities for router coverage and security. I came to the conclusion that signal extenders with a single point router was too complicated and expensive to rely on. I settled on the google home mesh router and gave in to less complicated set up and better coverage I a two story home. So far I am fairly pleased with the product. There has only been some minor issues with connectivity and dropped connections.

I have three of these throughout my apt and I can’t complain. The fact that my signal is balanced all the over the place is a great thing. And I have full control of them using the google WiFi app from Apple. I would highly recommend getting a set.

after doing basic research of types and user reviews i settled on the Google WiFi 3-puck pack. These wireless access points allow you to 'repeat' your WiFi signal wirelessly or by back-hauling them with Ethernet cable. I choose to wire them. Set-up was relatively easy, i did follow another users advice by setting up 2nd and 3rd pucks wirelessly initially then plugging them into the network. My WiFi signal is strong all around the house and the mesh is great because we don't jump from one network to another, like previously with WiFi extenders. These pucks just sit there with their little glowing band of light and push out plenty of signal. We are not high end streamers of content, just web surfing and social media type things, we do use sling tv and have had no issues with watching anything. For casual users i like it. I would add one more puck in my shop if they weren't so expensive indivdiually.

Google knocks it out of the park again with this router! It is super easy to set up and will have you surfing the internet, streaming content or playing video games in no time! The app is super intuitive and makes contolling your network a breeze!

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. This is the best whole home solution. Mesh networking at it's best. i love the control and features. now I have wifi to all my cameras, devices, televisions, lights, echo dots and computers. Thank you Google. Not 1 issue.

I was a bit hesitant on getting this at first, but the control it provides and ease of access it has on the app are incredible. Plus the ability to add more nodes is fantastic, though we have experienced some slight connection hiccups the router usually works out the issues it's self.

We recently "cut the cord" and went to an internet-only provider. Rather than renting their modem for almost $15/mo, I bought the Google mesh system and it's extremely easy to set up and the app is easy to use as well. Works wonderfully and I've only setup 2 out of the 3 units it comes with -- we're in a two-story, 1,400 sqft townhouse and get perfect coverage inside as well as coverage extending a bit outside of the house. It was between this and the Orbi system, and I think I made the right choice.

I really like the google wifi. I put one in every room on my first floor and it is strong enough to carry up and down to all the other rooms. Wish it could go just a little further so I could put one in our garage (its not connected to the house)

I went through multiple ‘high-power single-point routers, which always left “dead spots” in my home that had to be covered with additional extender units— before I came across Google’s mesh system. This system acknowledges from the start that the only effective way to completely cover a large space is by using multiple base units. Therefore, instead of paying $250 for an expensive high-powered base unit plus $50 per extende, I paid $129 for a three-unit Google mesh system that covered the same area if not more! Two thumbs and highly recommended!!
