Simple to install

However, it took 2 extra pack to make it work in my house. Way to much interference. My house was built in early 60-s and high voltage cables are running through my attic.

Good mesh, bad for home automation

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: * Easy to set up * Good granular controls per device * Good coverage * Stable over long period of time (2 years) Cons: * Must be your gateway router for easy setup, otherwise things get complicated quickly * Router settings are pretty much non-existent, just a few "advanced" options * CREATES ENORMOUS HEADACHE WITH CONNECTING SMART HOME DEVICES. This is because it had both 2.5gHz and 5gHz bands that auto-sense but cannot be disabled. Many (most?) Home Automation devices require 2.5gHz only and will sit and spin forever trying to connect.

Good device for getting wifi through the hose!

She also mentioned it would help when more family members are at the house with their devices. She was right!
