Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent coverage, and straightforward setup of the Google Wifi AC1200 system. Many also praise the improved signal strength and extended range, resulting in better overall performance. While some users experienced connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. A few customers noted the system's higher price point.

Hesitated to purchase, due to price but this is really what my home needed. Three of these provide total coverage to my home (two story w/basement) and yard. That's over 5000 sq ft if you include the basement. Easy to set up and seems very stable. Only one access point needs to be directly wired to your LAN making the whole system very flexible as far as location of the other access points (all they need is an outlet). Good value if you can find it on sale.

I previously had a Velop 3-pack mesh. However, every month or so it seemed to just disconnect for some reason. Getting it back online was always a pain and took the better part of an evening to fix. I eventually had enough and decided to swap it out for the google WiFi, a decision I have not regretted! The set up of the Google WiFi was far smoother and quicker than Velop. The app is much easier to navigate. Not to mention it hasn’t dropped internet yet!

I am so happy with my purchase. It was SUPER easy and VERY fast to install. Plug 1st one into the router/modem. Then I went up stairs and put 1 in kitchen area and one in backroom. Use the app to set up. Super easy!

Its simple , has improved my connectivity in the bedroom and I have the feeling that it will be safe with Google sending out updates etc. However , the only thing I was not satisfied with was the data they give for the square feet being covered. I have a 900sq 2B apt. As per the guidelines I assumed 1 would suffice. Tried 2 and then finally ended up buying the 3 pack for my place.

So far i have been using the router for about a month now. It has worked flawlessly. Very easy to setup. I love tech but wanted something simple for my wife to use. So far there have been no complaints. Also i have a 2500sq ft house with only one router. It covers my whole house without any problems, but i can tell when i am close to the limits of the router. All in i am very happy with my purchase. I plan on buying another in a few months just to expand the network to my yard.

I had an old router that wasn't performing well. Replaced with this system and it works great! My service is 100/mbps and we get consistent 80 on the other side of the house....with the old router we were only getting 40!

Great range and simple setup. It covers our 1900 sq/ft condo with no signal loss. My only disappointment is that it doesn't reach my office in another part of the building. I may need to pickup one or two more to get there.

I was using a Netgear 6400v2 for years with DDWRT firmware and I had connection drop outs/poor range in parts of my house. I decided to give the Google WiFi 3 pack a try and I am impressed! I’m now getting my full speeds everywhere in the house. I have zero connection drops with Nest Thermostat, Nest Hello, Nest Outdoor Camera. I wish I would have purchased this sooner! If you are on the fence just do it!!! Amazing upgrade and my wife loves that I’m not tinkering with the router!

I am so happy i put down ~$300 for this system. I am a cord cutter and have a 100 MBPS service from my cable company, we have 8+ devices plugged onto the system and have had zero complaints in a 2700 sq ft home spread across two levels. in the 3 months i have owned the system, it has not been 'down' once and has never required a reboot. The google wifi app is also very nifty. Could not recommend this more. Usually I would deduct a half star for something which is so high end on price, but this deserves its 5 stars.

Great for a home with multiple WiFi devices working at once. Will search for the clearest WiFi channel to keep all your devices working seamlessly. You can prioritize a device such as your streaming service or laptop so it doesn’t bog down if your WiFi traffic is heavy. Can control you WiFi usage with the touch of a button. A nice feature is the ability to control your home devices even when you’re away. No need to be home on the WiFi to see what’s going on at home.

I went into the store looking for a wifi booster to get better coverage in my basement. The guy that assisted me recommended I look at this product because traditional signal booster technology will become obsolete as wifi standards change. He then explained the many other features with the integration with other Google products. The set up was a breeze and literally took minutes. And with the three connectivity points I know enjoy great signal on both floors of my house along with my yard (one placed in my garage).

I live in a 2000 square foot house and have had problems in the past with WiFi on the back deck and back of my house. With the Google WiFi mesh network I have strong signal throughout the house with coverage extending into my front and back yards. I have had some disconnect issues on a rare occasion, but reconnected easily. Set up is extremely easy!!! The app offers many features that I have enjoyed utilizing, including personalizing the name of each regularly connected device, both wired and wireless. Love this product!!!!

These were easy to install and set-up. Our home is 2099 square feet, but it's an odd shape. We used four of these to make a mesh wi-fi network. You can also plug ethernet lines into the devices, which speeds up the data.

Was always struggling to get good wifi service in our back room of the house. This web system by Google is one of the best on the market right now and the price is better than all the other web routers on the market as well. As with everything Google, new features continue to be added and and updated. Very easy to install and get up and running... Didn't even have to change the server name so I didn't have to go through updating each and every device... It was a seamless transition from my old router... Amazing!!

I recently migrated our wireless from Meraki (Cisco) to Google Wi-Fi. The system set-up was super easy to use and the dashboard is intuitive, I have four pucks (Wireless APs) and two of them are hardwired. I used their tech support a number of times for a few configuration issues and they proved to be very knowledgable and helpful. A quick note, the main puck is also a router, so no need to do anything more than plug this directly into your cable or DSL modem.

While looking for a router I was originally going to go with the usual set up of the 2-in-1 modem/router. But upon stumbling into this device I can say the price is definitely worth it. Two wifi channels really helps keep everything running smoothly and prevents lag even when using both channels heavily. Set up was super easy and quick. You have to download the Google WiFi app but it is so worth it. Easy to use and settings are accessible from, essentially, everywhere you have signal.

I've owned a number of WIFI routers over the years and they all were a pain to set up until this one. Just download the App and follow the step by step (and very intuitive) guide and in about the time it takes to take it out of the box you've got WIFI! I only needed one WIFI Point but can't imagine that setting up more would be complicated. The signal is excellent, you can monitor the network from anywhere with a cellular data or WIFI connection. Nice job, Google! Highly recommended.
