It works really well but not as well as I would have hoped for the cost. I am generally quite happy with the product and the setup was very easy. I would still recommend this :) My house is made of plaster on metal lath so I really needed a mesh wifi system to get the signal between floors and this does the job but the signal isn't quite as strong as I would have liked.

This truly the easiest router system I've used, since adding a new point to the mesh just requires plugging in the router and following a few steps on the Google app. No logging into the router from your computer to change settings either. And when guests want to log in to my wi-fi, all I have to do is pull up the app on my phone, turn on the guest wi-fi and give out the password. The only negative to the Google wi-fi mesh system I have run into has to do with connecting smart devices to the network, since the router offers both 2.4 and 5 Ghz connections, but smart devices can't see the 2.4 option. There are workarounds to this though. Also, I would give this 5 stars if the price was a bit lower. You definitely pay for ease-of-use on this router.

I did a bunch of research on what to get my dad since he isn't the most tech savvy person. I set this system up for him in about 15 mins. The google wifi app literally takes you step by step through the motions. QR codes that you snap pics through the app link your wifi points. He could have done it himself if he needed to. Wifi works great. When the wifi switches points based on which room you are in, you don't even notice it. Happens on the fly. Great system. Google +1 for this.

Had a salesperson suggest this to me once I gave him an idea of the problems that I was having with my current setup. A little more than I thought that I was going to spend that day but very well worth it. Thanks

Provided 5 GHz bandwidth coverage over 3200 sq ft. love the ability to prioritize bandwidth to devices, control access to internet for say kids devices by schedule. The setup was simple took hardly 5-10 min. Provides ability to create and manage guest WiFi’s. Love the ability to control and restart routers remotely even via the internet. Would strongly recommend this for those that are looking for good coverage over large are with an ease of management

I was thinking of buying this router instead of netgear. Does the job with really good family restrictions. Wifi App is great and you can track of most of the things along with data usage by individual devices.

I purchased the Google Wi-Fi system about a month ago due to the shoddy performance of the wireless gateway furnished by Spectrum. It was really easy to setup, just download the app, and follow the prompts on your phone or iPad. I had all three units connected in active in less than 15 minutes, and have had a reliable wireless network ever since. If you are looking to replace an old wireless router, or an unreliable router from your ISP, I highly recommend this system.

We moved from a two story home to a spread out one story. The modem and wi-fi router, cover the home nicely. Best Buy provided great information on the various options and we happily feel we got what we needed

This replaced my Apple AirPort Extreme and I love it. Simple setup through app and lots of easy to use tools to manage your network. My home is smaller under 1300 sq feet, but get great performance throughout.

After my second faulty nighthawk from netgear, the Best Buy associates recommended this product for it's ease of setup and use. It took hardly anytime to setup. Plug in and answer a few question from my iPhone.

I upgraded an older netgear router to this system and am blown away by the results. I have full wifi coverage and speed in all corners of my 3200 sq. ft. house. Previously, there were rooms that had no coverage at all with my single router setup. Additionally, I recently upgraded my internet service to 100 Mbps, but noticed the fastest speeds I ever got on a device with my old setup were around 20-30 Mbps -- even standing next to the router. Now, I get 100 Mbps everywhere. Great system so far.

We live in a townhome apartment, and our old router left several dead zones in the downstairs. After much research, I finally decided to try the Google WiFi 3 pack, just because I felt I would need 2 nodes. With the price, I felt it was better to just get the 3 pack so that we would have them when we decide to move to a bigger place. The system is so easy to set up, and it's extremely reliable and fast. No more dead spots, so WiFi calling is great everywhere!

This was simple to set up and I was done in less than 15 minutes. All devices, which includes 3 iPhones, PS4, 2 iPads and 3 kindles all wok perfectly and there is coverage throughout our 2 bedroom apartment.

Bought to improve coverage and speed to my WiFi, it hasn’t let me down. I am extremely happy and set up was super easy.

I purchased these to replace a flaky linksys nighthawk router. I have each unit hardwired for the back haul resulting in excellent coverage throughout the house. The management interface and statistics the Google app provides is really excellent. It continues to outperform my expectations. These are a little expensive, but the ease of use and excellent interface makes it worth the extra cost in my opinion.

Rather than pay a monthly fee from the cable company, purchased a cable modem and this wifi unit. There is a Google phone app to make installation quick and easy, including setting up your network name and password. Actual time to set everything up and connect was only about 20 minutes. The Google app also checks the upload and download speeds, signal strength as you get farther away, set up guest connections, talk to other devices, etc, etc. This is truly 21st century stuff.

I moved from a 1190 sqft 1 floor to 3500 sqft 2 floor home. The existing router was insufficient to cover my whole house. Researched many routers in the market. When read about mesh wifi system, Found it interesting and got this router. It was very easy to set up. My modem is in laundary room behind utility box. It is so small that it easily went inside the box. The other two installed on both the floors. Now have great coverage. No dropping of signals. My garage door, sprinkler system outside of home everything is now in the Wifi range. So far working great. Th only reason not giving 5 star is i was expecting different options, they have just one 1200 MBPS. I would have expected 2-3.5 GBPS. Not sure if I switched to Fiber internet greater than 1200 speed, do I need to switch
