Enjoy this product works very well in our home so far

The first router I got worked for less than 48 hours, then completely died on me. The process of replacing this lemon took almost a week. The new router works fine, but I'm knocking some stars off for the inconvenience, which was a pain.

I bought the single Router which didn't work well speed wise, so I bought the 3 piece set thinking it was a range problem. After two comcast visits and an independent IT guy, I've come to the conclusion that this router is either defective or not compatible with Comcast/Xfinity. When my desktop is hardwired to my modem, download speeds are 118Mbps which is the speed I pay for. When any device is connected to the Google router, my download speeds are 50mbps and lower. Spent an hour with Google support trying their troubleshooting steps and it's still not working. Oh, and now it's too late to return to Best Buy. Beware! If it doesn't work right away, don't wait to troubleshoot. Return and get a brand that is proven to work.

Set-up is fairly simple. Just D/L the Wifi app, pick any one of the units to use as your main router, plug it in, fire up the app and use the app to finish set-up which is simple. Then you just need to plug in the other 2 units where you want them and the app will pick them up and your done. It's possible you may have to slightly adjust the units a little for better signal strength but was not a problem for me at all as the app shows you signal strength basically in real time. I put 1 in my office (main unit), 1 at the back of the house in master bedroom and the 3rd one in my attached game room/garage and with a total of 3300 sq. ft. I have no dead spots and strong signal throughout the entire house. So far no complaints from family or friends! Each units light can also be dimmed to your likes. Overall, in my opinion, this system is meant to simply have full Wifi coverage throughout your home (which it does without argument) but I don't believe it is really meant for advanced techies who like to "tweek" settings to their specific and detailed preferences. I would recommend to anyone who does want the full home Wifi coverage since it does what it's intended for and is a fair price at that.

Works okay, but advice to only get two was incorrect. Needed to buy a third unit to get coverage. So instead of pack of 3, for a better price, needed 3. Bought 3rd online for a better price.

Excellent wifi, works well everywhere in the house

Though having really good reviews, the google home wifi just couldn't keep up with all of our connected devices. The most important device would keep losing signal, even though one of the google pods was no more than 10 feet away. we returned this product.

After having these items installed so I could get better coverage after trying them for a couple of weeks I found that my reception was no better than it was before I had them installed. So I removed them and returned them to the store for a refund.

I will give it more of a chance but the money that I have tied into this wi-fi internet is worse now than before I got this. I do not know if its a Spectrum thing or a Google thing but no one will indulge the answers

Spotty connections, dropped Wi-Fi calls when you move to a different room. I guess it's an average system but I'm not looking for average. So, I'm returning it today and finding a better system. Have a most excellent day!!!

It's great when used in a one story house. But living in a 2 story house, not so great (when main acess is in upstairs bedoom furthest away frim garage). I get great signals from upstairs bedroom and living room. However not as strong of a signal in the garage.

It was not simple to install and then it seemed to not be very compatible with some of our Apple devices. We’re returning it.

The salesman talked me into this system, over the router I came to buy, as my house was older and had plaster walls. Perhaps I am doing something incorrectly, but I don't see the increased speed and other better service he said it would deliver.

Nice price, easy to setup, aesthetically pleasing, and worked great for everything other than Apple TV movies. Spent hours troubleshooting with Xfinity, Apple, and Google with each saying it didn’t work due to each other. What a waste of time. Do note that the system worked great for all other Wifi needs such as Cloud Cams, my son’s gaming, streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. Just didn’t work with Apple. I ended up returning the system. Went back to a router/modem combo and now I have my Apple TV movies back as well as everything else. Disappointed.
