Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent coverage, and straightforward setup of the Google Wifi AC1200 system. Many also praise the improved signal strength and extended range, resulting in better overall performance. While some users experienced connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. A few customers noted the system's higher price point.

I have always tried to have the best, and I think Google actually hit this one perfectly. (years of trying extenders and bridging etc, no luck) An easy to install system, wired or wireless, (if you have Cat5), completely automatic. Chooses between 2.4 and 5G, eliminating that guesswork. I had a "hot" Linksys dual-bank router, plus 3 business class Cisco WAP121 access points hardwired. My download was SOOOO slow. We have 4 Xboxes, 5 smart TVs, plus a dozen other things, about 27 connected devices. I can speedtest about 97MPS at the farthest Google Wifi point, very close to the 100 MPS from Comcast. FINALLY I have accomplished my goal. The system worked just fine on Wireless too, so hardwire was just a bonus because I had it. It maps the strong signals etc. You can't go wrong, google got it right, the high reviews are so right-on. All my stuff if going on eBay today, google wifi here to stay.

I will admit that setup was a complete breeze, but this item is throttling my speed to the point where I can't justify the costs of this purchase. My internet service is 100mb down, and I'm averaging around 17-25 with this router. I'm going to return and try a different brand.

I built a wood framed shop 10 ft in back of my house and needed internet for it. The salesperson said no problem with the wood walls and I was 25ft away from the main unit but no connection at all in the shop.

The only good thing about this mesh is that it is an easy setup, but the performance is poor. I returned this the next day after getting a horrible through put of my network. Git the Linksys Velop, which is a lot better but a little bit pricey,

I bought this product upon the recommendation of a Best Buy employee who said I needed a mesh network solution to get my wifi signal across the house. Though the individual pods tested well, I had no better functionality than before I installed the product.

I read all of the reviews and did the proper research, and they all praised the Google WiFi, and said that Eero is good but overpriced... However that was not my experience. The range for the Google WiFi was extremely poor. I have a 3000 square foot home, and I was shocked at how bad the reception was given it was made by Google. I highly recommend the Eero instead. Maybe a little more pricey, but it's has served me well. Just make sure if you do buy the Eero you get the second generation Eero.
