Unimpressive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to extend the WiFi in my house. I have ATT fiber in a house that is approximately 4000 sq ft. Set up was easy however, I found the signal to be only slightly better with it than without. I was expecting much better and ended up returning it.

Horrible product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product does not work even with support on the line I could not get the units to join a mesh. The First network setup just fine when I went to add the additional WAP they simply failed and would give different errors from not close enough to home device, or unable to register. I spent 3 hours on the phone with google support with them finally stating they would move it to tier 2 support and they would have to call me back. Really call me back after wasting 3 hours of my life? I will try another brand but if you can stay away from this garbage!

poor coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.wifi ac1200 are coverage is short, you have to let each mesh near each other to get an excellent coverage.. so what's the purpose for having 3 when they should be near each other,,

Not Good Boosting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This would be so much better and more useful in an old house if the "chain" of boosting wi fi would work by connecting each one to another one - instead of working 30 feet from the main one. May need the Geek Squad or return the 3 booters.

Quality is ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in an apt and it was a downgrade in quality bc the connection was slower/kept coming in and out. I dont have anything to amplify it and was told it would not be needed since i live in a one floor apt less than 700 sq fr

Not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my 2 story, had one on each floor including the basement. The WiFi signal was no different with it. When I used their app, it said I got 100MBps but using a third party app, the speed was much slower

Very disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google's mesh net is weak in comparison to our previous, old, no "bells and whistles" router, which provided a much better signal throughout our house, from a single access point. With three devices in the initial package, and a fourth added to improve coverage, we still get messages to "move devices closer to improve signal." The initial set up is easy with the phone ap, but adding devices to the Family Control after the initial set up is challenging and not intuitive. I would choose a different product.

1 Google Wifi Wasn't Enough
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my broken Google OnHub, but the Wifi range wasn't as good. It seemed like 1 wasn't enough, and these would be better served as a wifi range extender -- which is too expensive to be simply a range extender.

Not compatible with Google Fiber TV app
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have Google Fiber and use the Fiber TV app as a remote for your TVs do not buy this product. After much hassle Google Fiber has informed me the Google Wifi Pucks are not compatible with Google Fiber when a network box is present. Also you cannot set up two networks on Google Wifi which is another hassle if you have the high-speed internet from Google Fiber. Why Google Why? Your products should work together. Very disappointed. Will be returning these 3 Google Wifi Mesh pucks ASAP.

Easy to use and simple understated design.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This WiFi router three pack might at first seem expensive but if you compare this to a single unit high end WiFi Router it can be seen as a better value. With this three pack you get three units that each provide a WiFi signal and can be positioned in different parts of your home to provide better WiFi coverage for mobile devices. Each unit is also very small (a little bigger than your closed fist) and can be placed almost anywhere that there is a power outlet. Two units act as WiFi extenders and do not need a wired network connection, they only need power. The main unit will need to be connected to your Internet gateway or wired hub connection. I actually have my main unit connected to an existing older router and itworks fine in that configuration as well. Besides being small each unit has a simple design. The indicator LED light can also be adjusted brighter or even turned off if desired. The Google WiFi app provides a guide for setup and also provides configuration settings. I set this system up using its intended easy to use configuration. This may not be a desirable system if you want to control the fine details of router configuration, but if you want something simple that just works this system is excellent and is a great value!

the most user friendly router in the market
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all i would like to say that this router can be setup by a third grader!. Yes, this is how easy setting up this router set is. Pros: - The first router that can be visible at any place without being ugly. It is small, and elegant. - again setup is very easy! can all be done using your cell phone. - very stable and good performance. - a lot of options and controls using just your cell phone. - expandable (you can as many nodes as you need to cover more space, all added nods get the settings from the first nod that was setup) using mesh technology. cons: - price: it should be priced cheaper as a set (there are so many great options for that price or even less) - no usb ports - no Mu-Mimo support. - if you want to cover a relatively big apartment you will need the set, one router will not be enough. at the end I believe that google wifi is a great option for people who aren't confident enough to setup a normal router.
