Great mesh router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.24 hrs in, wanted to share how much I like the Google mesh router 3 pack. I wanted to increase my wifi footprint beyond what a single router could do. Mesh seemed the way to go. I'm more than happy with the ease of setup, the Google WiFi app makes setup a breeze. My footprint increased dramatically, and if I ever want to increase it, I can add a single router as needed. If you want a mesh system that just works, try it.

Stable connection, simple set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE Google wifi! My old router was giving me a hard time, so I had to start researching for a new one. The Google one was the only router that gave me confidence to buy and spend the money. I did not regret it. It has a nice and easy set up, you can set up guest accounts, it's just perfect. My connection has finally stabilized and I no longer have issues with it. Such a relief! I definitely recommend the product!

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made the switch from the Linksys Velop System to this and I am not looking back. I had several dead spots originally with my wifi modem so I decided mesh was the way to go. I went with the velop at first and returned it in LESS than 24 hours. My download/upload with the Velop is 71.2/11.4. With Google wifi it is 234/11.9. Crazy difference. (I was using the same phone and standing right next to the primary node)

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this product because we were having dead spots in our home. Our intent is to get rid of spectrum cable which the bill is over 200 bucks a month just for TV. We are going to use Set TV for our entertainment needs, also the dead spots in the house causes problems for other who need the internet. Hopefully this fixes the dead spot problems since the spots show up great after installing the device time will tell

Easy and Fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm no expert at installing any computer system but I have installed WiFi in the past and it's never been this easy. Google uses an app the customer downloads on their smart phone. The app walks the customer through installation and it is the most transparent process I have ever used. Well done, Google. I highly recommend this WiFi system for ease of installation, price, and a system that works as advertised.

Simple and clean
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Design 5/5 Function 5/5 I live in a high density area and there are literally hundreds of wifi access points in range. I use ethernet to connect two of the access points to each other (using an unmanaged ethernet switch to get other devices on LAN) and everything works fantastic. No more switching different wifi networks and devices constantly connecting to the wifi of the other room.

Best WiFi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally don't give reviews but, I just can't help it. I love this product. If are thinking to upgrade your wireless router, you need to buy this Google WiFi. At first I was bit hasitan about because the speeds but don't worry about that you will get plenty fast speeds. My average speed are about 350Mb, before I was averaging 60 to 120 Mb. Good job Google!

So EASY!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had heard this was easy to set up, but it was even easier than I expected. I had it all set up in a half hour, including laptop, printer, smart TV and Direct TV DVR, as well as installing an ethernet switch for two hard wired devices. And this is from a 60 year old woman with no help. Now we have great wifi coverage throughout our 4200 sf home!

Google wifi fixed my thick wall issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a decent router before getting this. I recently moved to a new house I am renting and the router could not get through the walls of my office. It was reducing my connection from 100 mbps max to an average of 1 to 4 mbps. Got Google wifi and it completely fixed this issue. The mesh system really works well. Super simple to set up also. Took about 10 minutes.

Excellent system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.System is incredibly easy to set up. Google Wifi app has nice, basic controls for someone who wants to manage their home wifi. I have gigabit internet and my wireless speeds are over 500Mbps. If you plan to add switches throughout your house, be sure to read the instructions carefully on the support practices to set it up.

Consistent Wi-Fi everywhere!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What's there to say? It takes 10 minutes to set up all 3 hubs. The range (if set correctly) is astounding. The feeling of going from the back yard, to the kitchen to the front and get full coverage is a wonderful feeling. Pricey, but worth it

Excellent, Super Easy to Self-install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So glad I bought this as a solution to getting strong Wi-Fi into the corners of a long narrow house. It couldn’t have been easier (even fun) to install using the app on my iPhone. Just simple, straightforward and very reasonably priced for what it is. Cheaper than a good router and two extenders with better results.

Best WiFi Router/System
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a 3 story house which has been plagued with dead spots and drop outs since the advent of WiFi. I recently upgraded to the most powerful router I could find, including range extenders, but the problem persisted. My wife was constantly complaining that she could not get WiFi on her iPhone, the computer in our home office would constantly have to be reset to pick up a signal, and one of my sons who still lives at home was also grousing about the lack of a reliable WiFi connection.. Another of my sons recently installed a Google WiFi system in his home, and told me it was working flawlessly, and that it was simple to install, so I thought I would give it a try. The setup was simple. My modem is on the middle of three floors, and I put the remaining Google WiFi devices on the top and bottom floors. The Google WiFi system utilizes a "mesh" system and I have total coverage everywhere in my house, no matter what floor or room I happen to be in. No more drops, and no more complaints from family members re internet access problems. Upload and download speeds are excellent. I cannot recommend this device highly enough.

Great so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed it yesterday. Took about 10 minutes to get the 3 units plugged in and updated via the Google Wifi app. Speeds and signal have been perfect in every corner of my multi-level house (about 3000 sq ft).

Amazingly simple
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaces my Netgear router. I wish I had done it 2 years ago. Setup was a breeze by downloading the Google WiFi app, and scanning QR codes. It’s working awesome, and has improved the WiFi in my home.

YES! YES! YES!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My new home is a 2600sq foot ranch. The wifi was installed in the living room at one end of the house where my home office is. The middle living room & the ones the kids use struggles getting wifi and the far bedrooms are behind a large brick fireplace/wall and the wifi is nonexistent. I purchased these, basically plugged them right in, downloaded the google wifi app, synced the three pods and the wifi is like magic everywhere in the home. Each room has a google home, smart tvs that stream netflix and fortnite (constantly) and multiple teens are connected (guest wifi is so easy to set up in the app) and we have not had one hiccup! Our whole home is finally connected! I was skeptical and read so many reviews. I finally decided just to do it and I am so happy with these magical little pods. Don't wait, just buy it. And while you're at it get some google homes. The broadcast feature makes announcements to the kids soooooo easy!

Overly Simple and Buggy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the concept of this product is very cool, the product is overly simple and did not work well. This product is designed to simplify the setup of a home network. It is designed to take out of the box, plug in, and then setup with a mobile app. The concept seemed cool and I was excited to give it a try. However, while I eventually got it to connect to my cable modem, the mobile app had locked up my phone (iPhone 6) several times. When I tried to add the second and third mesh points, the same thing happened. I figured because the product was so new there were probably some bugs in the app so I let it slide. Once I got the network setup and working I tested the speed and it was ridiculously fast! It maxed out my 60MB/s download and 5MB/s upload speeds set by my provider. However, I was constantly losing internet connection from several of my devices. I'm not sure why I was getting disconnected, but it was very frustrating. Next, I went to setup all of the other wifi devices in my house (DVRs, TVs, etc.) and found that I couldn't remove the password from the wifi network. I keep all of my secure content on a secure NAS and leave my wifi open for all of my devices to connect. I couldn't do that with this software because it is oversimplified and doesn't allow for most of the options that a traditional router offers. And finally, I had my NAS, printer, Vonage phone and desktop computer plugged into my previous router. With this system you can only plug in one Ethernet connection to the main device. The workaround for this is to put the devices you need plugged in to the other 2 devices, but I decided that wouldn't work for me. In summary, this could be a very cool product for someone needing fast wifi throughout a large house, and for someone that isn't very tech savvy. Perhaps when the bugs are worked out of the mobile app and the software itself is less buggy I will give it another try.

Not quite ready for prime time.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, it's a beautiful product and the presentation with the packaging is one of the best I've ever seen. The setup was easy and the app worked perfectly. On the first night, we noticed speeds that were ridiculously fast! I was quite impressed. However, impressed quickly turned to disappointment the next day when everyone was awake! Streaming crippled all other connections and no matter how close the units were in proximity to one another, they would not stay connected in the mesh. I even lined all three up next to each other as a joke and they still behaved as if they were out of range. I returned it that day and got something that could handle the throughput. It's too bad because I was pretty excited about the whole thing at first.
