Faulty Geo-locator. Steer clear!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The geo-locator in this device in incompatible with the geo-locator used by the Atlantic City casinos to verify that you are physically located in the state of NJ. Google support escalated me twice before stating that there is no setting that will allow me to play the casino games at home that i previously enjoyed. I got the free router from my ISP and it worked fine. Steer clear.

Would not connect to (working) modem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After several attempts at restarting, following steps on the app, it insisted that my modem wasn't working and said I had to contact my internet service provider (Cox Cable). I just plugged my NetGear router back in and it worked fine immediately. Obviously there is something missing from Google's setup and/or diagnostics. So much for simple.

I tried to set it un again and I can't even connect to google wifi to set... these things are are a waste of money.

Fails to be compatible with devices

Google has a good reputation but they have dropped the ball on this one. Several things that were working fine with the Netgear simply will not see the google wifi.
