Setup was super easy, but download the app for your phone before unplugging your old router. I also had to go buy a network switch for all the devices I had hardwired to the old router, like a network extender or the wireless irrigation controller as Google Wi-Fi only has one Ethernet port out. Otherwise it is fantastic and setting up a guest Network is very simple

I went from a single TP-Link router to three of these, WOW what a difference!!! My whole home including the surrounding outside now has a signal. Will never regret this purchase! Controls are super easy to set up and I can turn off my kids wifi when they need a break from their tablets! They aren't happy about it but I sure am!

These are awesome! I now get Wifi anywhere in my house or backyard. Unlike WiFi extenders I don’t have to switch to a different WiFi... same login for EVERYWHERE! It’s a breeze to set up and the pods look sleek, not standing out. Have recommended this to friends and family, all of whom love it and have no complaints.

I have used wireless routers from every major vendor and this product from Google beats them all for two reasons. First, performance is outstanding with better coverage, performance, and reliability than any other product. Second, setup was very simple using the Google wifi app on my smartphone. You don't need to be or hire a geek to install this product!

Purchased over a year ago and was honestly was the best investment ever. Set up was a breeze with App and you can monitor your system from anywhere, which is great if your partner is not tech savvy and you need to troubleshoot from work. Needless to say, my two story house has wall to wall coverage with not dead spots. The best part is, the extension pods(ones linking to the main one hooked up to the router) can also serve as a wireless adapter that mimic being hardwired to a network switch. This sits on my desk with a cable connected to my desktop tower. Essentially you get the added benefit of it being a wireless adapter that will never drop because of the mesh system. After all the issues I had with garbage USB wireless adapters and drivers failing after a year, spending the few extra bucks for this made it that much more worth it. The only time I've lost connection is because my ISP went down due to storms or maintenance, not because the networked failed.

was looking for a WiFi upgrade and this mesh system fit the bill perfect!! pretty much a plug and play system, everything connected flawless and easy.. just download the app and you can control everything from there.. speeds are pretty fast, and no lagging or dropped signal no matter where you are in the house.. LOVE this system!!

This system was a snap to install and we enjoyed our instant access to the internet via this three wifi point system. Good job Google.

This is my first mesh wifi network. Went with two nodes in a 1400sf rambler. One unit covered the house fairy well. But I wanted the strongest signal I could get so added a second. Now I have max signal throughout the house and the complete backyard (that’s a first). Setup was nearly as easy as the Apple Airport Extreme router I replaced.

Like they say, easy setup then very fast WiFi. Three pods covered my 2100 sf house and patio. Completely reliable, no outages after a month. The control app is simple, maybe too simple if you’re a pro. Didn’t need to do any port forwarding or like that. Maybe the new routers can do it too, don’t know, but I love my mesh WiFi!

These work great once I had them setup correctly. You have to make sure they aren't to close to each other for them to work correctly.

For the first time ever I've been able to get full use of the internet that I pay for throughout the entire house, with no dead spots.

Upgraded from a traditional router to a google net and the difference is amazing. No dropped signals or dead spots. Highly recommend.

I am thoroughly impressed with the mesh technology. I had a netgear ac3400 router which would not reach one bedroom in my new home. Tried the repeater route and failed missrably. So i decided to give this a go. I now have zero dead areas in my home. Amazing and the speeds are better than my netgear router.

Bought about 2 months ago. I didn't give 5 stars because of a hiccup in the pickup (rhyme not intended). I bought online, and when I arrived at store for pickup, product was not available. Requested delivery at that point and then got further delayed by a rare southern snowstorm. Anyway..... Installation could not be any easier. Less than 5 minutes for the first main router. Less than 10 minutes for the 2 additional units. you get immediate feedback on how well the units are placed. I am in a large house of more than 5500 sq. ft. I have 2 computers in my office in a room more than 100 ft and one and a half floors up from the internet modem and first Google Wifi point (connected to modem). Previously, I tried to reach this office with a Netgear 3700VR4 router and got inconsistent internet service. I could not stream video. I then tried wifi extenders and got consistent internet service and the ability to do some streaming, but not HD streaming. I then tried powerline adapters and was able to do 1 and sometimes 2 HD streams. With the Google Wifi, I am able to better handle 3 or more HD streams. I am making much better use of the 105+ mbps internet service coming to the house. According to speedtest my speeds went from 20-50 mbps downloads and 6-10 mbps uploads with the powerline to speeds of 70-90 mbps downloads and 15-20 mbps uploads. I have added a 4th Google Wifi point and seen a nice increase. I am seeing 90-120+ mbps download speeds and 20-25 mbps uploads. The performance 100+ feet from the internet modem and several rooms away is almost the same as at the modem. I can also access my Wifi outside the house, even at the mailbox more than 150 feet from the house. Uptime has been good. A few weeks ago, I had a few seconds of downtime. However, it might have been an issue with my service provider. The good thing is that I could look at my Wifi point in the office and see the Wifi indicator light change in color from white (all good) to amber (oh-oh) and then change back to white after about 5 seconds. I like that I now have 4 Wifi mesh points at a cost that is less than the cost of 3 mesh points with other systems like Netgear or Linksys. Some reviewers don't like that you have to use a Google app on your phone to manage the network, but I find the phone app convenient. This is a very simple, but flexible system . Other mesh systems provide more function in terms of LAN mgmt. If you don't know or care to know a lot about LAN mgmt or Wifi access, this might be the choice for you.

Setup was painless. Took less than 10 minutes from unboxing to being back online. Much better coverage than previous wireless router.

We have a 4 story/split home and this works! We have placed 3 boxes in the house and we have full access in every room. Works great!

Like many others, no matter who your internet provider is, internet service is so so. This mesh system made it awesome at our home.
