I can't view what I was recording unless I am connected to my phone with the app because its 360 camera. This is perfect for sporty kind of guy but for a family man like me this is not what I would buy again. However, they did have a latest model that replaced this and you can view what you are recording. For the price though, I got a great deal. Best buy is the best.

Not as great as you'd expect..

The first big name 360 camera, iconic. Unfortunately it was really hyped up by promotional videos. The image stabilization is just ok. The audio is just ok. And the sticking line is horrible no matter how far away you are.. Wait until version 2 unless you don't mind blowing cash.

Bought it specially for a trip to Yosemite park and I'm glad I did. We captures some amazing shots with it. The only thing I still not liking very much is the editorial app from my iPhone, I think it's very limited for the 360 videos and pictures but we'll see how long it takes them to improve it.

What? Can't change batteries?

Having had lousy luck with previous Go Pro products and their short battery life this is not a product I would NOT recommend. Go Pro also changed the mount for this camera. Not helpful when you'd like to use all that previously acquired stuff you've accumulated.
