It was easy to use. I have used it both underwater and for other videos in our travels. The stability of the videos are better than I can do with my digital camera.

The 4K resolution is fantastic but I didn't anticipate the memory it requires. The image stabilization is a little less than I expected as well but still pretty good. However, the versatility of the camera with the adapters (purchased separately) is what makes this the best camera on the market. I can clip the camera onto vehicles, toys, self, etc and get amazing shots I wouldn't otherwise be able to get. For the versatility alone, this camera is a must for videographers and YouTube Creators.

If you know how to work this camera you will love it!! I use it from hanging out with my kids to motorcycle riding and mountain biking. Definitely recommend this awesome item!!

I love the Hero 5 Black. It meets all my expectations with crystal clear pictures and sounds. I got the Remo remote with it which is very convenient! I cannot wait to use it on my vacation!

I bought the gopro hero 5 to document some of the adventures me and my son go on in a Polaris rzr s1000. I was leery of cheaper brands as I was concerned about vibration from the motor. This one doesn’t fail to deliver smooth crisp video with decent battery life for short videos. Running 4K does drain the batter pretty quickly but I plug mine in to the outlet on the dash while riding.

Love all the go pro line. Easy to use and easy to travel with. Love how the screen is now on the back and it’s waterproof in the housing.

Met my expectations of what an action camera should do. I enjoy the fact the camera itself is water proof and doesn't need a case to get wet. Also the video quality is fantastic.

This is my second GoPro, this model is by far the best, you no longer need to have the watertight housing cases, the camera itself is waterproof and is perfect for night lapse videos

This is my second Hero black 5 along with a Hero 5 session cam. Now able to capture video from every angle in 4K Awesome camera. The Remo remote proves a selfie problem solver.

The hero 5 is an excellent piece of equipment to catch action shots or video footage. Pretty simple to set up and operate straight out of the box. I wish the battery lasted a little longer but to keep things small for something of this size it's understandable the battery had to be small as well.

It was good to use this camera while I was on a cruise to Jamaica, the Cayman islands and Cozumel, Mexico.

A friend bought an older model but this model has clear video and voice recognition. Great product!!

Our son is a video/media major in high school and we got this for him as a Christmas gift. He uses it daily. It's easy to use and has good quality video, great deal!

I need a camera after my Olympus TG died, so I decide to have my first GOPRO. Very good camera for close pics and videos.... ACTION CAM, I just realize what taht means. Doesnt work for shots from far distance. Maybe if there is and adapter to make it zoomable, would be perfect.

Pros: Small form factor, water proof, decent image quality (with sufficient lighting), remote & voice control. Cons: Expensive (camera & accessories), lighting needs to be ideal to obtain good picture quality, image stabilizer needs to be improved, touch screen not easy to control.

My 18 year old son had always wanted a GoPro so he could capture all the adventures he and his friends have while riding dirt bikes, fishing, hunting, canoeing and hiking. Let’s don’t forget CAMPING! And he never believed he’d actually have a GoPro, but I made the effort to save money here and there and was able, with BestBuys help, pick out and purchase a GoPro with several accessories for his Christmas present. The advice I got from the associate was exactly what I was looking for and I found everything on sale by being updated via emails. Now we’ll never get David out of the woods
