    Best GoPro they've done in years. Don't let the appearance fool you, it is a huge upgrade from the Hero 5. Between stabilization, 4k 60fps, faster menu's, low light performance, and much better dynamic range, it's a must for action-cam users.

    I purchased a Hero 3 years back only to swear I would never buy another Gopro after it froze up and could not be fixed. I broke down and purchased the Hero5 and I must say this thing is so much easier to use and lives up to my expectations.

    With the waterproof design implemented, there are a few changes that take some getting used to. To begin, accessing the battery/ SD card port, as well as the Micro USB port are a bit more difficult than they used to be. There are no more side doors that pop on and off. The mechanism which keeps them open/closes them is a bit tricker to use than I would have liked.

    I bought the Hero 5 for both my son, age 27 and my daughter, 26. They have been busy recording and editing their adventures, including an engagement. It's been fun watching their activities. A great gift for them and for me.
