I purchased this camera recently. It's my first gopro. Took it on vacation and I'm pretty happy with the footage. I used it on a 450 ft suspension bridge in Canada and also for parasailing. My only issue was that it froze one day and the gopro site said it was the memory card that needed to be reformatted. I was able to find a solution on YouTube.

Liked ease of use but focus not the best. Need to buy accessory to secure camera for underwater use. Cannot swap out battery as in upgraded camera. Shou have spent the money for upgrade

I wanted to see the quality of a go pro before going to the high end one. I am so happy with this purchase. The picture quality is great. The video even better. We recently took this on a cruise and even with all the wind noise the videos turned out so clear. My son used it on the water slide and it didn’t skip a beat when filming! Awesome camera.

Got this GoPro for snorkeling, etc. But I used it on a recent trip and got great videos of friends and family. Still getting used to the controls, but I really like the GoPro app which sends suggested quick videos. My only question is whether the silver is much better than the white for the price difference, since I don't really need the 4k video capability.

Great camera at a great price. I personally use for outdoor recreation and as a dash camera for my truck.

Never had a GoPro before so decided to try this entry level model. It was on sale for $130 so wasn't a big risk. Given that GoPro has the best brand recognition in this space I thought the entry level model would offer a premium experience. Not the case. The unit feels cheap. Picture quality was ok with only 1080 at 60 frames. The worst thing is the battery life on this unit was only 40 minutes. The battery is built in and not replaceable. Not sure how practical this would be during a long sporting event or a remote excursion with no charging access. Wound up returning this product.

It's a great camera especially for beginners its really smoother when running only problem is that the box says its 1080p60 and its not hope they can fix that
