    My second GoPro and this model is next level compared to the one I bought 5 plus years ago. You can get smooth shots without a gimble using the built in smoothing feature.

    Hero 9 has great image stabilizers than previous model and the 5k record rate is top notch. Just wish they added some short of optical/digital zoom on this camera.

    Awesome camera with incredible resolution. I've taken to 35 ft so far and it recorded everything with sound! Underwater inside the dive cage! I played it back afterwards and you could hear the boats buzzing by.... do yourself a favor and get this cam, it is relatively cheap considering if you went with another brand or an actual camera with its underwater housing it is going to cost you 3 to 4 times as much! I also bought the underwater filters but have not used them yet.

    It is really incredible to note the progress that GoPro has made with its line of action cameras over the years. I was an early adopter of the technology and can remember the days of iffy video--unmentionable audio and so many more blemishes. Now, as a YouTuber, I often find myself using the GoPro HERO 9 (with the media mod) as my only solution for capturing content for publication on my channel. Really, really good. The HERO 9 with the media mod produces mind-numbing audio reception in just about any conditions. Please remember that the introduction of the media mod to the setup eliminates the water proof properties.
