We purchased the Hero 9 to put in my daughter’s race car so she can see how she is driving and the car is reacting. Love the voice automation feature. Me being short, I am not able to reach where the camera is mounted to turn it on. The image stabilization option is a huge plus. Because she races dirt track and the corners are curved and high banked, the picture always stays level when this feature is turned on. Before we would have to turn our heads quite a bit to see what she was doing due to the other GoPro we had didn’t have this option. The 8k picture quality is amazing. Watching her videos seems so realistic as if you were the one driving. My husband especially likes the tracking ability. Most of the time you never have to worry about someone stealing your belongings at the race track, but just in case, this feature is nice to have. The only negative thing I have to report is the battery life. Even with the wifi turned off, we are only getting about an hour worth of filming each time. By the time she finishes her races for the night, we usually only have about 10% battery life left. This doesn’t leave much time if there is an accident on the track that takes time to clear up. We ended up purchasing additional batteries to switch out after each race. Overall we are extremely pleased with the product and would definitely recommend it to others.

This is our first GoPro purchase. We decided to go with the new GoPro- Hero9 because of the positive online reviews & user friendly features. We wanted a waterproof camera to use in & out of the water. We tested the GoPro9 when our surfer friend wore it on her wet suit. A few days later, we excitedly took GoPro9 to Big Island HI & got some amazing underwater footage using the video & photo. The colors were vibrant, the sound was clear & we even figured out how to Bluetooth pics & video right away to our friends & family by using the GoPro App. My teen daughter is the techie of the family, so she was fearless about diving in utilizing the camera, charging the batteries, uploading the pics & packing the camera for each days adventures. We also purchased the accessories & an extra battery which definitely came in handy since we were adventuring on land & underwater - from morning to every beautiful HI sunset! We highly recommend this GoPro Hero9, Accesories, micro SD card & 2 battery charger.

This a great camera. You should buy an extra battery though. GoPro uses a lot of battery power. There are a lot of features which I have yet to check out. However, it is easy to use and captures gret video and stills. It’s a great action camera for the price.

Love using underwater! The pictures are nice and clear. Battery lasts for 4 hours without turning off and if taking a lot of videos. Great for outdoors! My favorite features would be being able to see your selfie from the front part of the camera, and changing the video/camera/lapse setting by the button on the side. These features are super handy underwater.

Good for what it is, everything will always need improvements, it seems that just batteries and new lenses are the only thing I find even remotely disappointing, bought a polarized filter because the stock settings let in too much light still for day filming and now it looks great, the stabilization is a major feature that made it worth the money for me
