I love this go pro! Best investment to date. Definitely would recommend.

Honestly love this thing. I took it from Alabama all the way to Alaska and video in more environments than I can count and it held up better than any other water proof camera I’ve ever tried.

I really enjoyed using this camera. Easy to use top notch quality videos and photos.

The only gripe i have is of battery other than that great camera.

Not quite sure it is worth the extra money that earlier versions but it is just as good.

So I purchased the GoPro Hero because the Best Buy Agent suggested that it would work well as a Webcam in which I was in search of. Needless to say the GoPro is definitely not a webcam. I found it simply a little hard to use. The video quality seemed ok. I returned the product a purchased a logitech Brio 3. Excellent product.

Great camera and lots of great functions. I appreciate the fact that this version has an interchangeable front outer lens. It can save you a ton if it gets damaged. I also love the built in fold out mounts. Note that it's a little larger than its predecessors.

Great quality, battery life is terrible. It doesn’t last as long as advertised fresh off a fill charge and it drains even when off

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I got this for our vacation to Hawaii. In water, hiking, touring. Just fantastic. It’s very nice having a GoPro that is water or off without a case. We upgraded from a Hero3 and haven’t looked back. Totally recommend. The image stabilization is amazing.

Overall great buy from GoPro with amazing features and ease of use

I like this gopro due yo it being waterproof, but it has alot of glitches. Voice command works intermittently. Loses Bluetooth connection to much. Went to the beach and spent more time trying to get it to work then I did recording. If glitches get fixed it's worth it. I'll have to wait for my next trip to see.

The camera it self would be a great camera (only video part), but it turns on by itself after I turned it off completely. I found that it is a common issue from the past versions. Surprised that they hasn't fixed it as they release the new versions. GoPro does not provide a proper solution about it. They say to update the camera manually to solve the issue, BUT their manual update is NOT working. The update web page is freezing after I entered serial number and my email address, and click "Next Step." I did this process on two different PC. The solution they provide is not working. Please don't be fooled by the picture resolution 20mp. Yes, it is a video camera that you can also take pictures.

I bought these to replace my older GoPro Hero 7 Black action cameras as I use them for some of my Youtube videos for my documentary projects base in Georgia and Pennsylvania. I additionally bought pretty much all of the Mods for them as well and will be reviewing those at a later time.

Great camara if you are an adventure junkie, likewise if you are a contractor and need quality and durability. Not much difference in the change of models so went for the 9 edition.

Loves the product, but it gets very hot and needs yearly upgrade

I have had rugged cameras in the past from Olympus and Nikon, through I like the size the function of this camera are extremely limited especially in an underwater environment (e.g. snorkeling). Often the screen would switch to another setting and it is impossible to change the settings in a wet environment. If I was not passed the return date, I would definitely return it... I would definitely go back to my 6 year old Nikon versus this next time. The idea and hype around this made me really excited to get this camera, but it just did not live up to anywhere near my expectations.
