If you want to capture any type of footage and worry about battery life, I definitely recommend this charger. Charges 2 batteries at a time and is a small package. Perfect for trips and adventures.

Best Buy needs to update their info for this since it works in GoPro 5’s and 6. I bought off brand extra batteries for my Hero 4 and decided not to go that route when I bought the Hero 6, buying 2 extra batteries.

you get what you pay for with Go pro products I get about an hour and 15 minutes of video before it dies. Luckily these batteries are so cheap I can swap them out and keep on filming. quick charge time is also a plus.

These batteries are a must if you record more than about an hour. I like to just record and forget about battery life while I’m mountain biking. I bought this as an extra so I can record my 3+ hour rides.

Great battery. I totally recommend having an extra battery for your go pro like I did . They usually last 15-20 minutes so make the math and have enough ready for your memory card recording time .

I'll be honest, I was skeptical at first about the online generic battery products. So, I bought this one to be on the safe side. The GoPro brand is pretty expensive so I looked online and still ended up trying out the generic brands. Turns out the generic brands work exactly the same and they're for a way cheaper price.

Good battery. Actual life will depend on the use. For example, shooting in 4K will drain the battery sooner than 1080 and if you’re just taking photos it could last you a good day or two.

Great having an additional battery for the new go pro 5 black I purchased. The previous model I had bought an off brand for battery but this was the best option to make sure you do not come across issues with the off brands.

Does what I need..acts as a back up for my gopro when I'm filming like crazy and don't want to miss the action. Totally worth having 2 batteries if you like to film / video journal your active life / etc

Must have accessory for go pro camera. Many times you are away from a place to charge when filming. The extra battery comes in handy when you are at a place that you won't come back to and want to take a lot of footage.

I've read about aftermarket batteries not working on the Hero5 Black. Rather than taking any chances, I decided to just get the genuine GoPro batteries. They hold their charge fine and work with no problems in my Hero5.

If you have a GoPro a second battery is recommended. If you are in the wilderness and have no place to charge it, a second battery is a good option. Do not buy non GoPro brand batteries as they do not work as well.
