I have used other batteries that are available for Gopro but you cannot beat the original. In my experience it holds the charge longer. I just hope it is durable for the higher price tag it has...

Got my wife a GoPro, can never have enough batteries.

For a small battery, it does a good job. I love the fact that GoPro keeps their accessories affordably priced! I feel that is one of the reasons GoPro is the leader in action cams.

Bought a second battery for my Hero5. Does the job.

lasts about an hour for the gopro hero5. takes about 3 hours to get to a full charge, maybe 2.5. I bought this and another battery with the dual charging station and that will get me through a whole day!!

Bought this battery for back up for my Go Pro Camera. Ive had it for 2 months now, and I can honestly say it was a good purchase. Still holding up like a champ. A must buy for any Go Pro owner.

Depending on your use you can expect 2-3 hours of continuous use per charge. I needed a couple extra batteries to do a day long time lapse. Each battery lasted about 2 hours when doing a time lapse.

This product works but with my limited experience, and as I have read, all GoPros would be nicer if battery could last longer. This is my only experience so far with GoPro batteries. Lasts long enough for most things and cheap enough to buy a few extras though so no biggie. The battery is doing a lot of work and has to be smallish and light so not a deal breaker.

It's alway good to have and extra one on hand, I tried off brand from ebay and they lasted 1 charge, so I decided to go back to the GoPro brand. Only used it once so far but I'm sure it will be good.

I use my go pro all the time so I purchased another battery just to have a spare. It works great and I have not had any problems and now I always have one on the charger and one ready to go!

Purchased for a trip out west to national parks. Worked flawlessly and captured great hd video and images on land and on the water. Amazing what can be done in a compact package.

I was planning a trip to New Zealand and knew that it would be better safe than sorry. That being said, having two fully charged batteries never hurt anyone! Well maybe it did, but not in my case!

This is my third GoPro and these are by far the best batteries in the lineup. At least in terms of holding a charge while fairly new. I guess we'll see how they're doing in a year from now.

I'm always filming random things in the go. And I don't have an car adapter charger (not sure if one exists), but being able to replace battery and keep on filming is what I needed, and it does just that!

I got Hero after my Session 5 died and being able to have extra battery is a big plus. The battery works with no issue and the battery being small, I have no issue carrying extra battery.

Don’t waste your money on knock off batteries. Get the real batteries for your GoPro. Holds charge and peace of mind you can’t get from non GoPro units. Best Buy has best price!

Best Buy also sells third party batteries for the Hero 5 Black but for a couple more $ you can get the original! It will serve you well in the long run to get the official battery, IMO.

The GoPro is a great device and it’s even better when you have enough batteries to keep on recording. Anyone who gets a GoPro will definitely wants some extra batteries to go with it.
