Stick to the GoPro brand batteries because they have better quality of battery life than the other brands.

Produces great pictures and videos with little effort. Great for the novice. Memory storage is as large as you want to purchase. Accessories are available for many different needs. Learning curve - holding the small camera with its wide view and keeping your fingers out of the frame.

Great battery last a while but could last for longer. Could have a easier connection to know which way to plug in

We took 4 GoPro batteries with us on our trip. We kept them all charged and never ran out of power.

I wish Go Pros had better battery life. My Go Pro Hero 6 Black will give you about one hour of recording before a new battery is required. For any extended outings a new battery is pretty much mandatory. I would recommend getting one battery, and the dual battery charger (which comes with one more battery) and you should be in good shape. I don’t mess around with third party batteries, so the Go Pro battery is the way to go.

Solid batteries. Reliable for stated charge. I have several to swap out as needed.

The first extra battery I got - got it home it was dead. I charged it but nothing. Exchanged it. That battery had some charge on it before I charged it. If you get a battery that doesn't have a little charge to begin with it may be defective. Best Buy exchanged it no problem.

Buying GoPro parts provided by the same company is the best recommendation. I used in my last trip and it was the best thing I did. These batteries run out so fast so is better two have one replacemente all the time
