I bought this as an extra battery for my hero 7 and it works as it should. Never hurts to have a couple extra batteries for a GoPro because they tend to eat batteries.

I bought this additional one as a back up battery with original one. One could only lasts for 1.5hr to take videos. This is a must if you spent whole day outdoors.

Third party batteries did not hit a low enough price point to justify the difference between official and third party. Purchased this battery and have been happy with the performance.

You need a lot of these if you are shooting 4k videos

I found I didn’t ever really use the extra battery as much. When the camera wasn’t in use I kept it plugged to a portable battery pack. Worked like a charm. I reduced the rating by 1 star due to these batteries being different than the original. They have a divot on the side which catches when removing the battery.

The battery life on the GoPro 7 isn't the greatest. I always carry a spare battery so that I never need worry about missing a recording oportunity.

It's good to have a extra battery always with you.

Bought this as a backup battery due to my excessively long sessions out in the water or in the fields. Works the same as the one I received with ny original purchase of a GoPro.

The charger is very fast and reliable. The charger from the go pro doesn't take that much charge from the from the go pro and is very durable .

this is great if you need extra battery life for your gopro since these batteries wont last that long because of the size

If you have a GoPro Hero 7 Black Edition than extra batteries are always a must. Be sure to pick yours up today at your local Best Buy shop.

If you have plans to buy a GoPro you need to go ahead and buy extra battery. The older GoPro cameras had a much better battery life than these new ones

Having an extra battery was a definite plus on a recent trip. Battery life in the Hero5 isn't great, with the voice control turned on. A backup battery is a good choice.

I like the price for this battery. I thought they would be way more expensive based on how much most GoPro stuff is but at $19.00 I'll take it....maybe even a few extra. Besides that the battery life on these is pretty bad. Haven't really tested it out fully but these new batteries die very quickly.

the battery that comes with the camera doesn't last enough. Even though it is a pain to have to carry another battery around, it seems like the only solution available

It is never enough to have extra batteries. This is my third battery because I use the camera a lot and need to have sufficient power to not lose a moment of recording!

Love all the things I can do with the camera. It sends the photos to my phone where I can edit them. And quality was better that what I expected

Having an extra battery for your GoPro when you need it, means a lot. One battery, one hour of time under constant use. You should always have an extra battery.

Not much to say about this, as it's a spare battery designed to work with the GoPro, and it does that. A small gripe, and this isn't so much the battery's fault as it is the design of the go Pro itself, but it's a little kludgy to get the battery in and out of the camera. But overall I'm satisfied.

With the the time frame of 1 standard GoPro Hero 5 battery, extras are a MUST! This is my third battery and probably going to buy a few more for extended shooting.
