I got this battery free with my GoPro camera as part of a promotion. I had planned on buying an extra battery anyway, so it was a nice bonus! I'm very pleased with how long it lasts. I was able to take over a hundred photos and lots of video on one charge! I would definitely recommend getting this spare battery!

the battery life goes out fast if u use 4k mode on gopro black. of course due to high qualitu of the video! but having an original spare will not stop u from recording a high 4k quality video! have fund with gopro! enjoying this with my little one! remember save and treasure the memory! time is always gold! no pressure!

The GoPro Hero 5 batteries last a super long time compared to my GoPro Hero 3 batteries. I feel I am getting about an hour of recording time at 1080p 60fps compared to about 22 minutes, respectively. I haven't skied with the GoPro Hero 5 yet and I know the cold temperatures will reduces the battery life. I am impressed so far.

The only downfall of the hero 5 is a subpar battery. Having this takes away so much worry while out in the world

I bought this battery for my go pro 6 because the one which came with the camera was bad i had to buy a new one

I finally made the investment in a new Go Pro and was originally bummed I needed to purchase new batteries so I had a few spares. Well, after the first recording I was ecstatic as the battery lasted throughout the day (wasn't recording constantly, but it was the only battery I needed)

Not much to say about this. I'm impressed that, unlike most of GoPro's other accessories for their cameras, they do not charge a premium for the batteries. I do wish they lasted longer, but at $20.00 a piece, you can buy several fairly cheaply and still get a good deal of time out of them.

I bought this replacement battery for my GoPro Hero 7 because I heard the battery life was short on the new GoPros. Estimated run time is about 2 hours per battery. They are very easy to switch out and not expensive at all so I'm glad I picked up a couple extra.

This battery was purchased in tandem with the GoPro hero 5 and came in handy as a great backup power source. With high 4k usage the hero 5s battery can be drained within an hour and a half to two on video mode. So the extra battery helps double that filming time.

I already had two batteries, but I just got a charger that could accommodate three batteries. Since the cost of the battery is pretty reasonable, I decided to get another as I was going on a trip to Hawaii and wanted to make sure I had battery life for whenever I wanted to use my GoPro Hero5.
